Bathrooms are among the best, spacious shower and change stalls which are brightly lit and kept completely clean and infrastructure is very new, making it a pleasurable experience to swim here. Also some decent food options. Highly recommend this centre :)

Fantastic experience: I have been coming recently during the warmer weather, lying down on the very large grass area (perfect for tanning). It's my local centre and I'm always greeted by the lovely receptionists who are always smiling. Entry is cheap, being just under ten dollars. The water temperature is just perfect, and the place is usually very clean and well-maintained. I started coming to this pool after my daughter went as part of a school program (telling me how fun it was and how good one of her instructors Nicholas was at helping her). I would highly recommend this modern pool for young families and anyone looking for a nice weekend plan.

Fantastic experience: Heaps of parking outside. The change room and bathrooms were clean and had plenty of spacious stalls. Water temperature was just right. Went to the indoor pool which was nice. Water temperature was just right, not too deep (1.2-1.4m) and had lots of bench space to store your items while you swim. It was a little crowded due to school kids learning to swim but there was still enough empty lanes for members of the public to swim. Overall great facility. I would probably go earlier in the day to avoid the crowd in the future. I had barely any interaction with staff to comment otherwise.

Positive experience: I only found out about this centre after searching for a nearby pool to enrol swimming lessons for my child. It's a fantastic place. Staff are friendly and helpful. They always greet you with a smile when you come in. Pools are clean and facilities are always kept clean as well. The only thing I'd like to change is for the water temperature in the showers to be less hot. My child refused to shower there because it's too hot (4yrs old)

Negative experience: Honestly, this pool was a letdown from start to finish. The water was cloudy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly — I could barely see the bottom. The tiles were slippery and grimy, and there was a weird smell coming from the filters. The lifeguards didn’t seem to care much, and there were way too many people for the space. Couldn’t even get a proper swim in without bumping into someone every few strokes. The change rooms weren’t any better — dirty floors, broken showers, and no soap. For the price they charge, I expected a lot better. Won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing swim.

Fantastic experience: This has become my home gym for lifting. The layout of this place is great. I've always gotten good workouts in Even when the gym is busy it never feels over crowded.

The Duty Managers and lifeguards genuinely care about safety while keeping the vibe relaxed and welcoming. Negative experience: Went in today to have a swim with some mates, we were told by the lifeguard the rules of the pool which we agreed with, then after 15 minutes of just regularly dropping into the pool, the duty manager named Gunay walked up to us and decided to straight away speak to us in a disrespectful manner and demanded us out the pool and to leave without any warning, when asked the reason, he accused us of doing dives and bombs into the pool which we were not. He then refused to listen to our point of view and then tried to instigate a fight with one of my friends on the way out.

Negative experience: Not every group of teenagers are rude. My mates and I went to the pool after finishing a test and we were told upon entering the water that we are not allowed to do flips or bombs. Minutes later Gunay, who was the duty manager at the time on friday the 17th October around 1pm, came out and was unprofessionally handling the situation. We had done nothing out of the pools rules and he was really rude. He straight away pointed to me and some of my friends and said we were doing this and that, which was false. I entered the pool, did some laps and then swam around. He was on a power trip and didn't know what he was talking about. One of my friends simply asked him why are we being asked to leave and all he could do was yell in our faces with complete disrespect and tell us to get out and pack our bags. I highly recommend that security footage is reviewed and that the actions of Gunay are revised. A simple warning of being kicked out would have made us calm down further and just stay in the water. We were not treated fairly what so ever and it's just disappointing. If we were rightfully kicked out then I wouldn't write a review or be disappointed but here we are. Once again, please review the actions of Gunay on the 17th October around 1pm and determine whether it was justifiable or not.

Fantastic experience: Great pool facilities. 50m outdoor pool is heated to 27 degrees and indoor 25m pool is heated to 30 degrees. There are lots of lessons and squads so be sure to check lane availability. Plenty of parking but does get busy in the evening due to all the swim lessons and programs. Friendly staff

Negative experience: The gym showers have been leaking for over 2 months.

Negative experience: I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience at this swimming centre. The showers are dirty and poorly maintained, making it an unpleasant environment after a swim. The lifeguards show little to no respect, often being rude instead of offering any support especially if you have young children don’t even waste your time here they will not allow them to swim unless an adult is in the pool with them even if they are confident swimmers. On top of that, the parking situation is a nightmare it’s extremely hard to find a parking spot, always full due to the gym and overbooked crowded swimming lessons, making it difficult to even access the facility. Unfortunately, this centre seems to prioritize everything but its customers' well-being and comfort. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a positive swimming experience especially families.

Positive experience: Pool is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I've spoken to a few parents and we all feel the same, it really needs a small kid friendly pool outside... it'd be great of council could look at this with future planning.

Positive experience: Good temperature for indoor pool, outdoor pool is nice and clean. Need to open more lanes to the public during peak hours for the indoor pool rather than giving all but one to swim schools. Sometimes, I'll be sharing with a lane with up to 4 other swimmers. Review update: still 3 stars, but 2/5 for pool and 4/5 for gym. The gym is quite good with its new equipment and cleanliness. Sometimes the number of D handles are lacking, especially when one person wants to do cable flies. The pool is not up to par. Kids run free causing chaos in the lanes by swimming into the paths of those doing laps, throwing balls into the lanes and in general having zero respect for those trying to swim. Lifeguards don't do anything about this.

Fantastic experience: Modern aquatic centre with indoor and outdoor pool. Kids play water work play area. A Gym upstairs. Lots of grassy hill area to set up a blanket or have a picnic. Small cafe there to get coffee or food. Hot chips always deliciously done are also popular after a swimming lesson.Free parking as well but it does fill up with all the swimming lessons in the morning. Great swim lesson program as well. just finished the new roof cover on the outside seating area.

Negative experience: Pay $12:06 to much half box chips used to be $10.05

Fantastic experience: The pool was improved, specifically the Bluefit swimming course, and its management was kicked out. I can find a good place to swim with our kids and no hazel on over capacity.

Negative experience: Update - review with 1 star, poor management and incompotent since council took over. No value for customers and happy for you to leave. My kids didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to their coaches who they had built a relationship with over several months. Manager cancelled our membership 2 days before our routine lessons. Guess they were desperate for us to leave in the end. Update with two stars only: my family are loyal consumers of this facility for a while but sad to say that the Bayside council does not honour Service NSW vouchers although their websites say otherwise. We have enquired this several times for six months now and still no value or progress. I am planning to leave for a better managed and supported swim school. The pool itself is good but their newly hired coaches are quite useless in terms of progressing my kids to higher levels. My prior review below with 5 stars: One of the better swimming pools around here. Showers can get quite busy so need to plan around timing for kids

Positive experience: It's so much better since Bayside Council took over the management of this site since July 2023. Would give an extra star if Council could please install a sauna!

Fantastic experience: Brand new facility that has a lovely, large indoor pool with wonderful natural light. Outdoor pool is also nice with a lot of sunlight coverage. The aqua aerobics were fun and the people welcoming :)

Positive experience: My daughters take swimming classes there, it’s fine we actually love swimming in general. But I wish they had a specific swimming place safe for children. Also I wish they have regular cleaning as the floor and bathrooms are mostly dirty.

Positive experience: The pool is an aquatic warm pool, I enjoy attending this pool , but it has been cold. There was a staff member scrubbing the wall at the shallow end, he was using some kind of bleach. When finished he sprayed the bleach off and half of it went into the pool where toddlers where swimming. Not good, cleaning should be done before or after .

Fantastic experience: Amazing pool! Love this place, both the indoor and outdoor swim experiences have been 5/5. Shame that the diving blocks in the outdoor pool are permanently locked off for safety reasons, but the entire center is very well taken care of and managed. The cafe is also great by the pool. A doughnut after a swim is the perfect combo for a great day!!

Negative experience: I like here very much! But don’t know since when the outdoor pool is always closed because of the water polo game. Every time I go, there is only a piece of paper at the entrance saying that the outdoor swimming pool is closed without informing swimmers in advance. This is really inconvenient. . I don’t really enjoy swimming in the indoor pool because it is always dirty and crowded.

Positive experience: Great pool and gym, although does close early for a gym. Hopefully in future, the trading hours can be extended for later gym goers.

Negative experience: No digital system for membership sign ups. They do not honour previous memberships and buisness model is very backwards. Prices are very inflated and they do not accept cash on sites.

Positive experience: I went there on Sunday as it was free entry indoor pool was amazing and nice and warm and my baby loved it but when we went there on Thursday indoor pool was cold I shivering inside the pool… I hope the pool will be nice and a bit more warm on Sunday

Negative experience: Disappointing because there's only 1 lane open for free play so everyone is like squished. Secondly the canteen is absolute rott. No sugar for coffee, no icecreams & a lot of menu items are not available. Chicken salt shaker holes are clogged so you'll just give up in the end. Don't come here hungry

Fantastic experience: Parking is inadequate for a huge centre like this so after 1 round in the centre parking look for parking on the street. Customer service is top notch. Claim Your 1st lap vouchers here if You have any.

Negative experience: If you look up Bluefit Bexley and check their reviews... You will have a better vision on what this place is like... Same place just different search account. My Son been attending for a long time and got nowhere, when I questioned the instructor holding his tablet why don't we get feedback each lesson, he admitted to not having time, but yet he was spending most of the 30 mins standing and talking to other staff around the staff area. I asked if he can show me where to allocate the feedback on the portal, he said "there is probably a way but I don't know how". Then when I asked him genuine questions about my son's learning, he was disinterested in my questions, looking the other way and at one point, he literally walked away in the middle of me speaking my sentence and started talking to another parent who was coming to askmhim a question and didn't finish with me. He didn't even come back to me and apologies for not finishing our conversation. I immediately exited my son from your program. We even had covid last year and we tested positive 1 hour before the lesson, my son was feeling fine considering he was positive,but out of courtesy, I called to book a make up lesson and I was told that because it was 4pm and lesson started at 5pm.. it's a missed session if I don't attend, i can't have a makeup lesson... No consideration that we literally just tested positive!

Negative experience: Be warned of a tall Caucasian very tall gentleman with sunnies (indoors and at 7 pm where there is no sun) and apparently 2 granddaughters ( who continually called us disgusting the same as their grandfather) in Angelo Anestis aquatic centre in Bexley around 7 pm. Last Tuesday very offensive to me and my 2 children in the family showers yelling that we were disgusting whilst showering my kids. No respect whatsoever to me either my children or to the duty manager of the facility. He walked out of the facility shouting very disrespectful! Called management twice the followed two days with no luck as the managers have left for the day and on the 3 rd day spoke to a manager who rushed over the phone showing no interest on keeping us in the swim school, either aware of the incident report I did fill out. Plus regarding swimming lessons keeping a child 9 months in the same level always picking on the same area that needs to improve in the skills shows no interest whatsoever in the child improvement by the swim school instructors either. Very disappointing after coming to this facility for the past 2 years.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely top notch centre, beautiful facilities and the most amazingly friendly staff I’ve ever come across at a public swimming pool. Special mention to Ali who was so accommodating to our water polo team when we were training for a tournament. He was very polite, went above and beyond his duty and super friendly. Wish all pools had Ali on their staff!

Fantastic experience: This facility is a hidden gem. Frontline staff at reception are always so pleasant & Ali on pool deck was on the job for our team setting up our goals & checking in with us that all was ok. A big thanks to Aaliya behind the scenes with arranging our pool space & being a great communicator. We didn’t get to bring home the gold but our sessions at the centre certainly helped us manage a 3 games a day tournament. Silver isn’t that bad & we are all still smiling. Thanks to all of you - we can’t wait for another tournament & will certainly be returning to the centre.

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for kids swimming classes here since pool was first opened. Very clean bathroom, showers and facilities. Good food and drink in the cafe. Friendly and helpful staff.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service by these two girls on Monday night. I enrolled in blue fit but I normally take my girl for a swim on another day, but they keep asking you if you are enrolled in another school, I told them I am not I am just here for swim. Keeping asking the same question, very insulting and outrageous, I think your staff need better training then that otherwise you will lose all your royalty customer by the end!

Indoor pool- water is so warm + all windows door shut, feel air is with less oxygen … I have to go to outdoor when staying indoor for 10mins… outdoor environment is amazing though~ friendly staff

Positive experience: What is with the amount of chlorine in the pool now that the council has taken over the management. My eyes were burning and teary for 4 hours after my swim lesson. Still the water was so dirty. Great swimming coach though.

Fantastic experience: Great place with space indoor and out doors. Some out door shade, a kids play space for the little kids. Change rooms are big and mostly clean. Cafe on site has all the basics and good coffee. The staff are friendly easy going and helpful. Update: this is even more accurate the more you deal with them

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended the adult swimming classes. It's never too late to learn how to swim well. I first joined the intermediate class when I was only comfortable with freestyle but six months later, able to do all four strokes though only short distance for backstroke and butterfly. Bluefit is excellent! I never thought able to perform all strokes in my 40s. Allowing students unlimited entries is invaluable as practice makes perfect.

Fantastic experience: Management did a great job of revamping the former settings. Great staff, quality and spacious areas, and a decent selection of food. Ideal for taking friends and family. Looking forward to seeing it re-opened.

Positive experience: The indoor air and water temperatures used to be warm and ideal for winter. We went back today, both air and water were cold and the doors between the pool and the reception were open, leaving all cool winds coming in from main door.

Negative experience: Lovely pool, lovely amenities. Introduced to it through the school booking swimming lessons here. However, I am not inclined to book lessons or visit outside of this due to the fact that parents are charged $2 just to go in and dress their own child. Not spectating, simply helping the school out cost more than $10 for the week to dress my child for no longer than 5 mins.

Negative experience: Severely inadequate parking and due to such, disappointing didn't even get the chance to enter as a first timer after hearing and reading all the rave 5 stars reviews. Website shows 8 Lane availability, 50 metre but arrived at 8:45am Saturday and just turned around and returned to my local pool with dated facilities but 'plenty' of parking. What's the point of such facilities that seem to be only exclusively accessible for drop offs, public transport takers and local residents. Recommend a multi-deck or overflow parking either across or behind the centre.

Negative experience: The facility is relatively new around the area. However the management is very poor, full of attitude. In here you will feel that they don’t care what you think and how you feel, because they are working for the council now and what are you going to do? One of the lifeguard is peculiarly rude, and the manager is basically doing nothing. Also there can be 6 kids in one swimming class for half hour!

Negative experience: This used to be the best pool but has become barely useable for anyone who wants to swim laps. For some bizarre reason they decided to close the nice outdoor pool at 3 pm on the weekends and the indoor pool is far too hot for swimming. Any available lanes are taken up by people who selfishly swim slowly down the middle of the "fast" lane. I won't be coming back unless they sort themselves out. Really disappointing as there are less and less options for people who want to swim laps for exercise.

Fantastic experience: Centre is looking good with the paint and clean up. Indoor pool has lovely temp and based on post swim swimmers, less chlorine. Best thing is the cafe, had lunch from there today and was delicious

Positive experience: Nice pool, when you can get into it. The carpark is small and there's often a wait as people battle for spots. Their squad program, which is on every weeknight, uses all but two lanes making it very unpleasant to swim after work. Weekends are typically fine if you don't get stuck in the carpark. It's a much nicer pool in winter when it's quieter and you can get a spot and a lane. Disappointing a lot of summer :(

Positive experience: Really nice swimming complex. Outdoor pool is fabulous in summer, with plenty of shade and grassy areas, the water is fantastically clean and change room/shower facilities are really good too. Still good in winter too, water is warm inside and out. Main complaint is that the indoor pool area gets steaming hot. It's like a sauna if you are there watching your kids and not swimming. They have the ability to open the windows and let fresh air through, but never actually do it. Cafe and swim school are great, but all operated by Bluefit. Seems like their contract has finished and not renewed, so it remains to be seen what the centre will do once they lose all their staff.

Positive experience: Great place for swimming, including indoor 25m pool and outdoor 50m pool. However, the parking spaces are limited.

Positive experience: Great place for kids swimming lessons and free swimming! The outside splash park is also a bonus ! The only downside is when they don’t open the windows inside and the indoor pool area feels like a sauna and having to breathe the chlorine smell while waiting for swimming lessons to finish.

Positive experience: A disappointing upgrade. The parking is insufficient on a good day. The pools don’t cater for younger kids to be able to walk in so they play and gather on the entry and exit ramp of the indoor pool. The swimming lessons on the other hand are excellent.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are great - the outdoor pool is always clean and the right temperature while change room facilities are well maintained and clean. The centre has a lovely relaxed feel to it and staff are always helpful.

Negative experience: Swimming lessons are below average. They just go through the lesson steps, they don't attempt to teach and coach kids into improving. 2 lessons at another school, our child (5 years) is swimming width of pool and is also proficient with kickboard. 2 years of wasted lessons and time.

Fantastic experience: When taking kids swimming you are meant to keep your smalls within arms reach in other words life guards are not baby sitters. We all know this anyways. At I got to this pool a few hours every week and I sit and observe my kids, the life guards and what’s happening around. For the record I am abit of an anxious parent around water. So I pay vigilant attention anyways I just want to give a MASSIVE shout out to a life guard called REECE. He goes above and beyond. He’s not distracted he not staring into space. His eyes are constantly moving all around the pool. You can see him figuring out what kids with what parent. You can see him bolting towards anyone he fear is in trouble on numerous occasions iv seen him tend to someone in trouble and insure they are safe. He’s always ready to spring into action in case of emergency. Always appears calm, relaxed And alert. It’s clear to see he is a very responsible young man. I have no association to the pool nor do I know the gentleman. Just asked his name so I could Write this and give the lad some much deserved gratitude and recognition for keeping our swimmers safe. Thank you REECE. Keep up the great work!
