Fantastic experience: The kids love the gym classes

Positive experience: Water was warm enough

Negative experience: Coffee wait time 15 minutes at K Cafe! If someone is lacking skill as a barista, put them on another task? 5 people were waiting for drinks ahead of me, the young girl was doing the work of 2 people while the older one was making a single coffee per 4 minutes. Ridiculous; give that younger girl a raise! Also, 1 girl at front desk had a really judgemental look on her face when my sister asked her to open the gate. My sisters voice doesn't match her height, but check your reactions! Especially working in a place where people of all ages and abilities come!

Positive experience: Great place to take the grandchildren after school. Will go again.

Fantastic experience: Hi , I've given a 4 out of 5 star review for this pool in the past purely out of the frustration that I have for almost every pool, that the combination for lockers is really hard to see or tricky to a without glasses and I felt embarrassed by getting caught out and having to annoy a bunch of the lovely staff I've only been doing reviews for a couple of weeks since a mate hooked me up with a new phone, so I'm still getting the hang of how to do an effective one. So, 2 weeks down the track and want to go for a swim tonight I feel quite embarrassed that I did 4 instead of 5, the place there is fantastic and the staff have always been 100%, especially when getting access to my stuff. And helping me with anything at all. Anyhow, now I feel regretful to the 4 stars, they really deserve 5, so I've gone out of my way to give an update. Still trying to understand the process, it was easy to give a hungry Jacks place in Perth a two as it was pretty crap , but I do feel bad about the 4 for this place. I love the warm water for therapy and the spa has 1 jet that's awesome, but too much if you stay on it too long which is just what I like. It really gets into those tight spots. So, as awkward now as I feel, I feel this hopefully amends my lack of judgement on this.

Negative experience: Bad experience on 10 Mar 2024 @11.30am. One of the staff member(a lady) at the front desk asked my son ‘how old are you’. My son said ‘5’. I told the her actually he will turn 5 in June (3 months later) and she said ‘Don’t lie on your child age’. That’s ridiculous. Easily judge people without seeing any evidence. So disappointed. Overall the pool services are good. Just the experience at the front desk was ridiculous.

Positive experience: It's alright, bit wet there though.

Negative experience: Clearly states on website no filming in the gym yet influencers are posting videos of themselves and others in the gym

Negative experience: Always something going wrong in this centre! Always there is a plan to shut down facility! Always something wrong with spa! Every year roof needs repair! Always no communication with member about issues! Always they addressing Aquanation as an alternative if facilty/gym/spa is close. I have only one request: Dont say plz “you can go Aquanation” We all know where is Aquanation!

Positive experience: I love the gym, I love the warm water pool. I do my hydrotherapy here, my daughter does her swimming lessons here. I'm just a little disappointed that they've been having so many issues with their spa. Love the new renovations.

Negative experience: The gym here has great machines and is a really good gym, but it’s let down by very strange management choices. It’s not 24/7, despite every other gym being 24 hrs. They claim this is because the pool is apart of the centre, even though they are very separated areas with multiple doors that can be locked to the pool area, and it wouldn’t be difficult to make a scanner on one of the external gym doors for after hours entry for members. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem if they didn’t have the weirdest hours ever. They close at 9pm on Friday and 7pm on weekends? What is the gym meant for, school aged children who need to be in bed by 10?And forget about public holidays, half the times they are closed or if by some miracle they are open it’s only till 3pm. There is no excuse for this, as you don’t need the gym staffed all the time- look at every single gym in Melbourne which runs 24 hrs?? They are not staffed. The constant closures are a problem too. In the many years I’ve been a member, the gym has been closed every single year for WEEKS at a time for “works”. Recently they closed the entire gym for over a week to fix one drinking fountain…I’ve never heard of a gym having this many closures constantly. Every few months Aquahub gym close for weeks on end for “repairs” or “maintenance” for the simplest of tasks which shouldn’t take more than a day or two and don’t need the entire gym closed. This happens every single year. It’s a shame that such a great gym causes so much inconvenience to its members, especially at the price point.

Negative experience: I got wet

Negative experience: Very poorly managed facility, very rude staff, can't even fix a tap in the gym, that has been faulty for months. Given the exorbitant fees and the other facilities in the area, I'm amazed this substandard facility is operating

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. We went with a group of young adults with varying disabilities. The warm pool for hydrotherapy has a wonderful ramp to walk into the pool. And then has a walk in spa from that pool.

Positive experience: Looking great after the maintenance shutdown but some issues need to be addressed. The showers are way too hot and high pressured and the sound system used with water aerobic classes is painfully loud. These 2 things really spoil a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Love going to aqua hubs aqua playgroup each week! Lots for fun for the babies.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with council services,my husband & myself been members for Aquahub almost two years but definitely say not satisfied.so many time warm water pool closed down, some time without notice but members have been changed regularly.currently aquahub pool is closed from a month for maintenance which has happened before also.only option member can freeze membership, for us we have only joined warm water pool for exercise to recover from our injury ,find difficulty to drive long distances .Ringwood aquanation is far from croydon.i can't drive everyday,it means I have to get help ,which I don't know in advance .it means with council only option if I have freezed my membership. And Incase I get help & want to use aquanation warm pool , I need to pay full casual rate.this is so pathetic.council only wants to make money not looking after community's wellbeing.can someone call me & let me know if there is any other options. another thing between two services aquahub & Aquanation there is no regular communication . One day I drove to croydon Aquahub ,came to know it's closed I was told by staff Aquanation is open please go there ,so I drove to aquanation,however that was closed too.I am sure if pool is closed for any reason,it will be just a phone call to let other service know so customer don't just drive from one service to other to waste time.kindly if someone can call me.regards I left message at Aquanation twice in person but never got phone call.

Positive experience: Smaller pool than the Ringwood pool. Place needs a good update, but is still good. The spa is much more powerful at Aquahub compared to Aquanation.

Positive experience: My first experience in an actual "warm" pool. I've heard people brag over the years about how wonderful hydrotherapy can be. Now I've experienced it!! I will definitely be trying this again.

Fantastic experience: Great place, 2 sections just for kids, with water dropper and fountain. Has a physio area and sauna. Wish there was more public pool space for the big kids/adults, but otherwise a fantastic place.

Fantastic experience: The gym is never crowded every time I visit and one can exercise in relative peace. Well, I visit around 1800 so perhaps it'll be a lot quieter then.

Positive experience: This is a great public pool for kids swimming lessons, teachers are fantastic and attentive. The downsides are the showers, they need a thorough clean and the pools need maintenance. Another issue that doesn't seem to be resolved is the payment system. Lesson fees are being deducted although Auquahub claims they are not depsite explaining (on 3 seperate occasions) that I have transaction receipts. The client portal is in need of a overhaul in terms of navigation and webpage display.

Negative experience: Im not sure that the management or council realise just how tricky it is to pile children out of the car in expectation a swim only to get TO THE DOOR and read a small sign that says the pool is closed today. Seriously? AT LEAST put the sign where it is visible from the car park so we don’t have to take ALL of the swimming gear out of the car, unstrap the children, walk to the door only to find we can’t take a swim. This is not the first time this has happened and shows no understanding of the amount of effort people make to go swimming. Unimpressed!

Negative experience: My experience at Aquahub Croydon gymnasium. Attnded the gym around 6:30pm was told the gym closes at 7:00pm.on arrival i asked the person at the front desk if i could just go in and have a leg work out witch he said was ok.i began to work on my leg work out rushed my work out was doing well just about finished my work out with only one set of leg extension left when the clock struck 7:00pm when the chap who was gym instructor came up to me and asked me to leave the gym i said i only have one last set of leg extension left could i please finish it he insisted i leave the gym i asked him again saying that i only had one last set left his reply was no you can not do it the gym is closed you have to leave i begged him to let me finish my last work out again with him replying no witch made me very angry that it would not take me more then a couple of minutes to complete his reply was no leave or you will be thrown out i replied saying im a paying customer and not to treat me with such a manner that Aqua hub would loose me as a customer he did not care about loosing a member at that point it turned into a heated argument between us with heated words were exchanged i left feeling insulted and depressed of the way he treated me and spoke to me I have been training for a long time in severall other private gyms with out any of them everspeaking or treating me like that i will not go back to Aqua hub because i would not want to have this so called gym instructor to insult me the way he did was appealing Because of this instructor Aqua hub will loose my membership of over 500$ a year.

Positive experience: The place is good but the disable parking is pathetic as its all on one side and if park near the end you have a very long walk. They used to have some on both sides of the door but they removed it and paced all on side, ridiculous.

Positive experience: Good warm water hydro pool and an excellent spa. a decent cold pool albeit on the small side. The facilities are decent enough mostly. The sauna is rather poor, small cramped triangular shaped room, with a massive window on it which seems to let most of the heat out and makes it far too bright to really relax in. not even close to hot enough in there to really break a sweat either.

Fantastic experience: Love, love this place. Not too big so you don’t feel lost in it. Warm rehab pool and spa and sauna. Staff always lovely. Does get very busy after work. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: I wanted to do stretch exercises and I cannot do them in our bath. The place is fine for me. The water is warm and early is quiet. The hardest thing I'd that you actually have to go out.. I WILL GO SGSIN...SOON

Fantastic experience: Our family thoroughly enjoy Aquahub, unlike some of the other public pools in the area it tends to stay fairly quiet. There's a great warm water pool for young kids as well as one for older kids/ adults. The staff are very friendly and helpful also

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities and friendly staff. It is reasonably priced to boot. Nothing beats half an hour in a hot sauna to put your stress aside and have some time alone with your thoughts.

Negative experience: Undermanaged and unsafe. Staff, lifeguards, management unprofessional, rude, unhelpful. Socialising more important to staff than safety and removing obstruction and people blocking access to pool and surrounding areas. Mocking and laughing at patrons rather than helping. Most answers from staff start with its not their job. Most people are tired of lodging complaints and give up and don't return or don't feel safe as management do not care or respond. Warm water pool cold most of the time. Warm water pool used for kids classes and either unavailable or partially unavailable too often. Not clean.

Positive experience: Friendly staff who helped me for my first time there, happy to take a multitude of questions. Facilities are good and fairly priced, but can be exceptionally busy around normal peak times.

Negative experience: Ridiculously overpriced entry for my daughter and me for a casual swim. Rude reception girl who seemed disinterested. Limited space in pool due to lessons and we did not enjoy what we hoped would be a relaxing swim together.

Fantastic experience: Aquahub is a super swimming pool. They have a children's area, a warm pool and normal lanes slow-fast. They have great changing facilities and hot showers. The prices are very reasonable too.

Positive experience: Was lucky time of day, as school buses of children arrived as I was getting ready to leave.... Love children; don't get me wrong, I just find that many children all at once is very loud to my ears... I found the women's change room a little small tbh... The pools themselves were great... The staff, lifesavers, management, physiotherapy and carer's of disabled persons were doing an awesome job too...

Negative experience: $100 a month for a gym membership plus $99 joining fee??? I was a long term member of over 10 years there many years ago but had to move out due to work. Planned to re-join again with a mate and was shocked how much they're charging now especially with how many gyms out there popping up in and around the area. Yes it's a pretty good gym but there are many better ones out there for much more less $$$. Seriously need to review their membership prices. They rather lose 2 potential customers than negotiate the price. They certainly don't care if I was a long term member and with what's happening currently around the world, you would think they would want to look after people especially their previous long term members P.S. Their staff are great though..

Negative experience: Changed review, no ventilation and no air movement. Hot and stuffy, not nice to be sitting in for 3 hrs for lessons. Lifeguards were congregating around the one open door. Showers have been out of action for months, makes it hard to rince off kids after lessons. Teachers for lessons are amazing, facilities need to be looked at. Great enclosed play area outside, lots of grass to run around on. Parking is slot easier then aqua nation
