Negative experience: My daughter was enrolled for swimming lessons. When wanting to cancel through the website due to relocation and not receiving any contact from the centre I then had to contact them about a week later enquiring about my cancellation. Not sure what happened but they did not receive my email at all from their website. I only wished I took a screenshot of it, but I didn't and due to this I could not prove that I had sent through the cancellation. Therefore I then will be charged for the next 2 weeks, as it takes 14 days to cancel the enrolment. Terrible customer service, terrible way of doing things. Do not recommend for swimming lessons either.

Negative experience: The place is okay if you’re just going there for a bit of fun or family time, but it’s really not suitable for proper swimming lessons. The setup feels quite unorganized instructors often take leave without much notice, and replacements are arranged last minute. This ends up wasting students’ time and disrupting the learning process. The coordination from the management side isn’t great either. Good for recreation, but if you’re serious about learning to swim, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Positive experience: I'm changing my stars, since change of management the centre has gone down hill. The bathrooms are constantly dirty, at times there's no hot water. High teacher turn over, lots have left. Only the staff are nice but management is poor.

Negative experience: I find the facility to be nice at best. I love having a gym and pool as well as steam room/sauna and spa. However, you will have to deal with the following: - Frequent price rises - The reception team lacks customer service skills. They do not actually care for their members and just wish for people to come and go. - When mistakes are made by reception team, accountability is never taken. - Errors in their systems, you cannot choose when to have your direct debits taken out (very old outdated system) - Other errors like above mentioned forces you to pay a head of time and when you do, then they still try to direct debit you and watch it bounce to only have you pay dishonour fees. Customer service is supposed to have your best interest at heart but instead create more of an uncomfortable environment to be a part of. - There are new renovations which are nice but when group sessions are being run, it can be a little congested. - As for the pools, they can be a little dirty at times but I have seen worse elsewhere and they do clean it every night it seems.

Positive experience: Thankful of the recently upgraded gym machines etc BUT no upgrade done for the fitness class equipments - Very disappointing! These dumbbells, plates are so ANCIENT and needs update too. Was looking forward to new equipments! Please replace them with new ones too asap!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with ARC Casey. The gym is in shocking condition and clearly neglected. The floors are old, dirty, and stained. The ceiling has visible mould and even water leaking through, which is completely unsafe and unacceptable. The equipment is outdated and not properly maintained — especially the bench press, which feels unstable and dangerous. There are no shelves or storage, so you have to carry your water bottle, jacket, and towel with you between machines. It’s frustrating and shows zero thought for member comfort. This place is run by the council, and honestly, whoever is responsible should be ashamed. Paying members deserve better than this. It’s a disgrace to call this a fitness facility. Immediate action is needed — not just a quick clean, but real repairs and proper management.

Negative experience: Lazy, incompetent staff they hang the phone after you've been on hold for 20 minutes.
Negative experience: My 4 children have been in swimming lessons for a little over a year , we have been lucky enough to have had some awesome swim teachers , unfortunately let down by unorganised and incompetent management with numerous issues around Communicating changes Then we show up for swimming lessons to find my kids un enrolled from their lessons leaving us standing at the reception with crying kids upset they can’t be put back into their classes , no email , no phone call no communication, very frustrating and unprofessional ! Also my asd/ adhd daughter worked extremely hard in her class , Not moving up in classes while her siblings and others did , when she finally did !! they no longer provided certificates as an achievement very disappointing for all her efforts, when her siblings had received certificates to Acknowledge their achievements only to be told sorry it’s New management We don’t know when we will get the certificates !! Very disappointed and sad kids tonight .

Negative experience: What a poor company, Casey arc was looked after by YMCA, and it worked perfectly. Since this company took over it's been terrible. The sauna isn't hot, the swimming pool is at least 5 degrees cooler and most importantly they have disable all the lockers in the building. Why stop something that was working perfectly. So now there is no secure place to put your belongings. Absolute basket case of a place now. Aligned leisure has made a really nice place into a terrible place, I'm guessing because they a money greedy. Get the lockers working again.

Our contractors have recently serviced the heating pumps and calibrated the heating probes to ensure the correct temperature. 2. Sauna: We're glad to report that the sauna is functioning properly. There was a brief period when it was colder than usual, but this has been addressed by our maintenance team, and we will continue to monitor temperatures. 3. Lockers: We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the disabled lockers. We want to assure you that we're actively working on resolving this issue. Our team is coordinating with contractors to schedule a service appointment and obtain the necessary tools to code the access bands again. We understand the importance of secure storage for your belongings and are treating this as a priority.We appreciate your feedback and patience as we work to improve our services.

Fantastic experience: Great froggy pool and I'm addicted to the dim sims and potato cakes.
Negative experience: The water is too cold, we gave our feedbacks many times, many friends quit the course because of the water. The staff are nice and friendly, but the course is too slow, it takes a very long time to get the next level. Other than that, it is good.
Positive experience: An overall good aquatic centre. A number of pools for both play and lane swimming. The wave pool, while smaller than the one at Monash Aquatic Centre, is great. Sauna is nice and relatively hot too. Overall the facilities are clean and functional but are starting to be slightly worn down in places.

Negative experience: I got kicked out because I was next to a group of boys that was not following what the stuff was saying, I asked why I'm getting kicked out they said 'it's my choice' another two boys was just sitting there or swimming got kicked out because they were Afghan and the stuff thought they were part of the group, I tired to explain but they said they will call the cops on me

Negative experience: Wish I could give it a 0 stars the Afghan manager was rude and kicked me out because i was near a group of boys I ask why I'm getting kicked out he said it's my choice I tired talking to another manager but she said she will call the cops I asked for a refund they said they can't do that because I'm trespassing, if the owner is reading this please tell the Afghan manager to stop kicking people out with out any proof,

Negative experience: I used to take my little sister here and never again. everytime we call up to say my sisters going to be absent today we need to have a makeup lesson! what is this?? why can't you just give us back money that we paid makeup lessons are such a hassle for our busy family and we don't have time for it. Now everytime my sister is sick we still have to let her go because of the stupid makeup lessons.

Negative experience: You need to answer your phone calls and respond to emails, customer complaints email signage(stickers QR CODES, boards) should be available everywhere,) complaints should be allocated a complaint number. You need to have more lockers available, with broken one fixed ASAP. You need to have locks fixed in changing rooms. Days when it is really busy, you need to have security staff to assist the lifeguards. I know nothing is going to happen, but I will like to see it get better.

Fantastic experience: Jovana the personal trainer at the gym at Casey arc has met my wife on the 20/4/23 Jovana has gone out of her way to give helpful advice regarding nutrition and exercise And has thereafter regularly made it a point to check how she was fairing I would like to give her an extra pat on the back
Negative experience: I have been ringing them since yesterday and still haven’t managed to get through to a human. Still getting the same message that they’re flooded with calls and are unable to answer my call, and to call back later. Also had the option of leaving a message, which I did, but never got a call back. I gave up after two days of calling them.

Negative experience: Whole centre run by very arrogant, disrespectful staff, on Friday came from long distance and stopped me not to allowed as it was about to start a some special event, came after 10 pm , locks were released to use 24 hours. Positive experience: Our daughter has been doing swimming lessons here for a while now and she really enjoys it and the feedback from teachers. On the other hand, sending them multiple emails requesting them to help us out got ignored & As an added annoyance, the sales assistant that booked her in for another time, Got the teacher’s name wrong and didn’t say there is going to be a replacement which was 5-10 mins late & didn’t even finish the full 30 minute lesson!!

Negative experience: Very unhappy . Have had a great experience since having my son in lessons since he was 6 months old but for the last few weeks the water has been freezing , leading my son to develop croup and other bad colds . He is immunocompromised and loves the water and the class sizes are too big 8 to one teacher is ridiculous. We have complained 4-5 times now and we repeatedly got shut down by swimming leader Jen when we complained last week and this week . We called out the temp of the water as my son was shivering and his lips were going blue .

Fantastic experience: The Casey ARC cafe is a great place to visit after a good swim! The lady that works there regularly is very kind and welcoming. I highly recommended the hot chips, they come in a generous serving size for the price. If you come in the morning, the chips are hot and fresh! My dad has the cappuccino regularly, and says it is also good quality. There is ample seating space with a nice view of the pool from above. (9.5/10).
Positive experience: This is a large and fun area with facilities for keep fit as well as the wave pool excitement. Our kids really enjoy it here. Our minimal contacts with staff are fine so why the three stars? There seems an underspend on cleaning. I guess my question is how often is there a “deep” or spring clean? The tide ring on the tiles of the wave pool is something to see.

Negative experience: The pool is not bad but one of the old swimming teacher and a life guard with blonde hair need to learn how to talk to people politely.They both responded me very rudely when I ask a pool noodle for my little girl.Very Disappointed.

Negative experience: I have tried to contact cafe team leader and the administrator for my child swimming lesson invoices for last year for the last couple of month. For some reason I either getting from the admin that she was giving the invoices without my child's name or from Deanna with the incorrect dates. I have written a number of emails, store visit, or phones calls. Requesting a call back but with no call backs or email reply with correct information. I need to know who I can escalate this matter further. Why it is so hard to simply getting some invoices for my child swimming lessons. Thanks Lin.

Negative experience: This rating is for the pools only. It’s always cold in the pool. I’ve repeatedly mentioned it and asked them to post the temperature publicly but it doesn’t get any better. Way too many swimming lessons, squad and school groups booked so members struggle to swim safely.

Negative experience: One of friend’s car keys were stolen from Gym’s lockers and his car was stolen, the administration of the Gym did nothing. Everyone reading this review please don’t trust Gym’s lockers.
Fantastic experience: Recently discovered this place and the kids cant get enough of it. the wave pool is fantastic as well as the hydro bath and spa. great family friendly changing areas and friendly staff.. Lockers need to be fixed but i'm sure that will happen in time
Positive experience: It's a good leisure centre. Multiple indoor pools on site - for littlies to laps and waves. The spa always looks a little crowed ( compared to pools) and is an extra cost. There a a very well equipped gym and lots of exercise classes. Cafe on site and plenty of parking available.
Fantastic experience: The staff are always super friendly, gym equipment clean, pool areas clean and the classes are awesome! Very affordable for what they provide.

Negative experience: Very poorly managed, unclean facilities and rude staff. No clear communication channels between the team; and their membership/payments system needs an update asap. I expected more from a place that’s been running for 20+ years. Overall a very frustrating experience for a customer.
Negative experience: No one showers before jumping in the pool. Some enter the pool with their outside clothes. I understand some people for various reasons choose to cover themselves and it is totally fine . They should bring a new set of clothes to change before entering the pool.

Fantastic experience: The best place to learn and practise swimming. You will have the nation's best swimming teachers here to teach you learn swimming. I thoroughly enjoy my time at Casey ARC. I highly recommend people to have a go if you want to learn swimming.
Negative experience: Zero Stars…poor gym trainers quality..with a full membership paid to cover everything, maybe used Sauna and swimming pool without interruptions. Yet when it came to the Gym, they have the poorest personal trainers!!! Zero customer service once they get the monthly fees!!! And for example a trainer spend 15 min annoying me by not explaining herself clearly in a very odd way!! how to do a very simple exercise…..she was Ok the first two months with a clear loss of weight progress and muscle build reflected good on my family, until one day I asked for her name personally just to continue the fitness program….!!! That’s suppose to be a good thing for the whole team but it seems the supervisor didn’t like that !!! …and myself didn’t like this annoying attitude thereafter during a simple exercise. I Cancelled membership and cancelled the swimming school for my kids…..and forbid my friends to go there……!!!!! I still don’t remember the names….I think Jovana was the trainer’s name and her supervisor with grumpy face I don’t remember her name…!!!
Fantastic experience: Great time chems were greatly balanced (it takes a while to get the eye burn) i like the way they split the 50m into 2 x 25m. I felt 1 of the pools was under guarded but otherwise realy well set up and guarded. I think theres a wave pool there but i dont know and or didnt know it was running
Fantastic experience: A membership here is value for money, hands down. For less than $25/W, you get access to the pools (and sauna/spa), access to a 24/hr gym and ALL their classes (which come under different categories - aqua aerobics, cycling, small group sessions and the "Les Mills" brand of classes. Let's not forget the few random yoga classes) I am very impressed with this place.
Negative experience: Worst place to swim. Very un hygienic. It’s always full of older men just watching everyone from the spa so their is no way you can go there. The kids swimming lessons are a joke, my son went there for 9 months and every week the classes were getting bigger and bigger and their was so room (the lanes were ridiculously small) and no time to teach them all, one week it was 9 children to 1 teacher. I addressed my concern and issue as we pay for him to be safe in the water and they disregarded it. So after 9 months we ended the lessons and he is no better off then when we started in January. Gross place
Negative experience: Very unimpressed! Customer service was terrible and the swim lessons are very low standard. Class not very well run structurally, very little feedback and no physical correction while they are swimming. Would not recommend. Also to try the class i had to sign up with direct debit as they they don't offer a trial, had to pay 2 weeks in advance (no issue there) however when i asked to cancel they said that I would need to pay for the next 2 weeks. So total a month just so I can try the classes.
Negative experience: Opens late on weekends, 8am. Change rooms are in very poor condition and the showers have a 30 second time limit before going cold and automatically turn off.
Negative experience: The swimming lessons are cramped and I can’t swim properly for all the kids squashed next to me. Whenever I try to do freestyle I bump into someone else, and when I do backstroke, water from everyone else’s splashes fills my nose and makes me cough. The family showers are nasty. I hate going there. It makes my skin crawl. The wavepool is nice, but the baby pool has a lot of chlorine in it. When I’m looking after my sister in there, sometimes the water goes in my eyes and they turn red. Sometimes the pool temperature is considerably colder too
Negative experience: Terrible experience. The classes are always full and have been on waiting lists for months to get classes we want. Facilities are always unclean and staff are never friendly or willing to help. Everyone is always passing your questions onto someone until you give up. Not to mention how difficult it is to cancel membership. It took us more than 3 weeks to cancel our memberships and during that time we were still getting charged.
Positive experience: Very poorly managed facility. Looks very grand from outside because of the facade. Honestly, I have seen people gate crash while we swipe to get in. Many of the lockers are way too small to hold your gym or swim equipment and many don't work either. The gym equipment is dusty, rusty and some equipment, especially the rowers and assisted bench press are not serviced. Many members don't carry a towel or clean the equipment after use and this is not enforced. I have provided feedback on my experience to the YMCA as they have asked me via an email and I haven't heard from them yet. Having had memberships in Aqualink Box Hill & Nunawading, may be, the standard of service and facilities I had used/or was provided at these centres, was way too excellent, including the staff members. Hope the standards at this centre improves.
Negative experience: Was really excited to take our little one here as I haven’t been since before COVID and use to be a member. The baby pool was cold when we arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday, and didn’t start to get heated until after 1.5 hours of our arrival. What the 1 star is actually for is the absolute disgrace of parents room that shouldn’t have even been open to public use! Only two of the multiple parents rooms had a change table and shower. The one available room had what looked like to be old dried blood on the baby change table, old used bandaids on the floor and no shower head on the shower hose. It was foul! I have no nice words to describe the state of the family rooms and for a centre which encourages families this was absolutely below par for anything that a young family should have to utilise! Considering prices for entry - management needs to urgently attend to this pathetic and appalling, state of bathroom!
Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Debbie at the swimming facility who helped us sign up for my son's lessons. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the process enjoyable. She creates a positive environment, and I highly recommend her for her exceptional customer service and dedication. Thanks Debbie for making our experience great.
Fantastic experience: I recently visited the swimming pool, and it was a fantastic experience. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the water was crystal clear. Spa and sauna are clean and always there are interesting and enjoyable topics that others talk. Highly recommend Casey ARC.
Positive experience: This place is a hit and miss! With respect I come here to unwind and relax from the weekly stresses and I always find I get approached by dudes in the spa and sauna (still worth it) and often the staff are in a mood, like the time I had my phone stolen and they refused to hand over CCTV footage to police, so I’m paying off two iPhones to this day. I’d recommend leaving all valuables well away from here.

Positive experience: You go in, pay your money, swim..everything we expect! Loads of lanes on a Sunday and helpful staff. Only issue is the state of the lockers.

Positive experience: Took our 7 year old grand daughter there. Not too crowded and had a chance to swim in the wave pool. Well staffed with life guards.

Negative experience: Customer service is at its worst. Never picks up the call, and whenever they speak, it's rude. Most of the clowns work there doesn't even know what's happening and what activities are there in the centre. Everytime when I speak to enquire, I get different answers. I will be stopping my son's swimming classes soon as soon as I get a better place. The only reason I am still sending there as I don't have any other options near Narre. Stay away from this terrible place....
Negative experience: Not that great. Pools are absolutely disgusting, and only great for the little kids. Mould everywhere in the pools and even broken rusty ladders. Not great for swimming. However, the showers are amazing! Very modern but apart from that, absolutely horrible.
