Fantastic experience: This place was perfect for a day out with the family with there being 2 pools nad even an outdoor seating area with lots of grass for kids to run around on as well as there is undercover outdoor seating. The staff are really nice and I feel really safe in the water with the lifeguards. There was an event on with a BBQ by the swim team that is there and their service was really nice. Would definitely recommend and are thinking of checking out the swim team
Negative experience: The Lifegaurds there need to be trained on how to speak to the public properly, there is one particular female lifeguard with glasses and multicoloured hair that is always rude to parents and other patrons in the ways she speaks to them. Everyone understands the safety aspect of making sure that children are at arms reach and that kids are wearing the appropriate wristbands to identify, but she is next level rude. Management need to retrain her.

Negative experience: The 24/7 gym is good but it gets quite busy between 4am and 5.30am and we have only have the disabled toilet between approximately 20 people which causes issues if someone is having a shower. Pool staff get there at 5am and start working on the pool. The toilets aren’t opened until sometime between 5.30am and 5.45am. The early gym birds are treated like an inconvenience and are put at the end of the queue. Surely the toilets can be opened when staff are walking past on the way in. Very very disappointing and although I have been a member for quite a number of years I am seriously thinking of cancelling my membership. Please treat us with respect and grant us the right to use the toilets as early as possible.
Negative experience: Very stuffy and hot inside the pool. A lot of the time we felt like we could not breathe and lack of oxygen. No apparent air ventilation nor AC. No windows/doors are open. It’s not a good experience inside the pool and it is also not good for people’s health. Very poor air quality in there. Some staff working there are rude and not friendly at all.

Our pool deck is set at 24 degrees everyday, and a set 28.5-29 degrees inside the pool that has been set by Council and cannot be changed. Negative experience: The place is great but the professionalism for the digital aspects are almost zero so I do not suggest anyone to register online.Active Carrot doesn't make sense at all. It kept saying wrong password after I reset three times.Also I got email saying that they cancel the joining fee for a while, I can't see the offer at the website.
Negative experience: Sand?? in the spa, only half of jets working at half strength too. Main pool didn't seem as warm as it should be. Maybe high roof looses heat but Very disappointed.

Negative experience: , I change my review to poor I only ask to change my direct debit from Friday to Monday but they say that it's impossible and now I have to pay the late pay of almost 6 dollar and im in pension payment, better to cancel my membership. I have been a member for 4 years it's disappointing.
Positive experience: its a nice local pool with lots of nice staff and clean pool and nice outdoor area but the missing one star is the slide i dont know why they shut it down and its been down for more than a year and i miss it alot

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined the Aquadome to obtain some fitness and rehab for a neck procedure. It was worth it to join as was more beneficial to do classes and go whenever I was able to. For same amount for the 2 classes i could utilise any area at the Aquadome. Staff were amazing and interview was very informative. Applying the App on my phone was quite easy to add.. especially for me .

Negative experience: waited 15-20min to get served by staff, there's plenty of staff walking around, yet none want to serve/attend to people in the front and lifeguards need to be taught how to have nice manners, very disrespectful to parents and children manager's manners are very poor and likes to argue with clients (one with a ponytail) and this isn't the first time multiple clients have had the same complaint and yet hasn't improved

Negative experience: Terrible showers, normally i wouldnt complain but $7.80 for a bad shower is out of line and out of touch.
Fantastic experience: Love going to Aquadome for fun family time. The pools are spacious enough and very well designed for age groups. The bathrooms and change rooms are very clean too.

Fantastic experience: I always have a good time, with pool friends, and others that use the wet area facilities, I seldom use the gyms. I have concerns about the disability areas (showers/change rooms etc.) I find the staff most helpful and friendly/respectful, the facilities, (spa/steam room) and showers work most of the time, however vandals do some damage to the equipment, and of course it takes time to affect repairs, come and try if you please.

Fantastic experience: I like the variety of activities you can do at Aquadome. I recently joined the bluefit membership and I'm loving it. They say surround yourself with people with positive energy and you'll be the same. I definitely am surrounded with such good positive atmosphere there while I'm trying to be fit and healthy. As a newcomer, I was never feeling left out and felt included in every session.

Fantastic experience: Granddaughters has been going there for 6yrs & only had 1 issue with change of teacher ,spoke to someone changed her & no more issues have been had ,she loves it there & goes for a little swim after. Cannot fault her swimming is great .

Negative experience: My daughter has attended for 3 years now. Her teacher has changed 20+ times over this period and her learning has been completely inconsistent throughout this time. Would not recommend the group classes if your child has any medical issues as the staff have no idea how to manage there needs.

Negative experience: This place used to be absolutely horrible.... then it was good for a couple months. But now, once again. Its a gamble, I rang to find out if it was up and running. But once I get there, the steam room was dead and parts hanging off the wall... they did warn me that the spa was cold. But that's nothing to be happy about. WHEN WILL THIS PLACE BE GOOD AGAIN. Last visit I even got verbally assaulted for swimming in the fast lane. So I tried ONCE AGAIN... Stupid o know... I was asked to come in for my free membership. Then refused entry due to my disability WITHOUT a doctor. Why bother with this place

Fantastic experience: Our first visit here with many to come. I've joined the gym here , which gives me access to the pool , spa and sauna as well , my daughter will be starting swimming lessons next week ( $19.50 a week) which also gives her pool access outside her lessons free of charge. Waterslides look great although children need to be 6 to ride. Lifeguards were right onto keeping an eye out for trouble. The beach pool for little ones is great as it changes in depth really slowly. Wad a good temperature aswell. Changerooms were great and my experience with the staff was friendly and helpful aswell.
Positive experience: The facilities for Disabilities are not well maintained, the change rooms and toilets are smelly and messy on the floor. The water slide is pretty good, but it is just open on Tuesday,Thursday (11am-2pm) and weekend(1pm-4pm).

Positive experience: A good place to relax - very friendly staff and pretty clean - only downside is their women’s toilet near the Gym area, oh that door slams real loud and I’ve been in and out plenty times and they’re not doing anything about it! Hope they put a stopper because it really is too loud when the door shuts! Came back and still not doing anything about that door. Don’t the council have No funding to repair that bloody door! It’s not good for older women who has a hearing aid - shame it’s left and not being looked at

Positive experience: Nice clean pool and spa facilities. Would prefer to have a larger ‘free use’ area rather than so many swimming lanes, however I imagine when it’s busier the lanes fill up quickly. Decent enough showers not great water pressure. Worth the pool admission fee (around $8).

Fantastic experience: Great friendly 5:30am staff and atmosphere. Would be nice if the pool was warmer for us oldies, and also not many lanes free from 5:30am through until 9:30am. Showers need to be a lot cleaner. First thing this morning clunks of hair in shower, also the shower walls need to be scrubbed( thinking. you have subcontractor cleaners coming in. They need to put some elbow grease into it. Mould in areas. Not good for humans. Positive note, I have enjoyed the gym & pool for the pst 4 weeks. Nice to see the same people at the same time :) and again morning staff are wonderful.

Negative experience: Took the kids here to have a swim. Over half of the kids pool was blocked off for swimming lessons and the slide was closed the whole time were there. Not sure if this is the norm or if we went at a bad time, but it's unjustifiable to charge over $6 entry per person and then not provide the facilities we paid for.

Negative experience: This place has gone downhill. It used to be great. It's school holidays and the waterslides aren't working, alot of the pool is closed for lessons etc. Like in school holidays you expect that the pool would be more available and the staff would be more tolerant of kids. If you don't like kids then don't do the job and it's abundantly clear that at least one of the staff here really doesn't like kids and I'm so glad my kids only interacted with him once. Won't be coming back. Waterworld and the aquatic Centre are so much better

Thank you... adding today: Why do let soooo many people (a lot under 16) into the SPA to the point where it is uncomfortable and NOT working - because the water is too high when SO MANY people pack into it !!! HELP Why dont you put a sign on the door that says "16yrs and over WITH ID only " ?? As soon as the lifeguard turned around those young men all came back in and we have to leave.....disgusting!! Disability access change/shower rooms are disgusting! Rust liquid on the floor. Need another mat as floor was slimy. Dirty bins. Someone had used powder and it was all over the floor in one room. Also, people using the rooms (that we saw) were not assisting someone with a disability and were very mobile - so why were they using the rooms! I could not get in there with my Carer and ended up using the other little change room (no shower) to change. That room was at least cleaner. The disability access showers need a fresh look and a deep clean for sure.....I will not be using them. If you had one with a MLAK Key then maybe....
Fantastic experience: Staff are really friendly. I have hydro therapy in the big pool. Sometimes, the water can be freezing, but I warm up quick enough with my exercises, and I really enjoy it. There's always lifeguards around, and the pool is always clean that I've seen.

Negative experience: Got charge for 2 adults and 2 children instead of a family, which was cheaper. Also, the food was pathetic and not much to choose from. Definitely won't be going back there.

Negative experience: Overpriced showers. Today I’ve paid for the most expensive COLD shower ever. Almost $7.- for a supposed hot shower that never heated up. If you can’t guarantee it’ll be hot then don’t charge so much!!!!!
Positive experience: Go before 3pm. After that it's so crowed, the toddler section has no age restrictions & much of the area is blocked off until 5.30. So I was constantly moving.

Fantastic experience: I find the Aquadome and the service just so friendly, I find the Children instructor so lovely to the little DCP Child I take in the pool for his Grandmother at 10.00 am Saturday mornings just so happy to help and she seems to really understand the little guy has a few problems and is always encouraging him ❤️.

Positive experience: Not bad indoor pool, only 2 pools so can get very busy. Has a slide haven't seen it open in ages if your after this call in advance don't assume it will be open.

Negative experience: Came here today and without my or other parents knowledge or consent, there were cameras from possibly the news filming and another organisation taking photos of children playing etc. There should have AT LEAST been an announcement over the speakers so parents had knowledge of this. Consent, especially regarding children is number one. Im EXTREMELY disappointed and upset. There was only a sign put up at the entrance about cameras being inside WHILE we were inside, we only saw filming & sign as we were leaving. Also, there was free ice cream until 1.30pm. We went to line up at 1.25pm so my daughter could get a ice cream and one of the workers had told me and her no, even after I said politely that it was 1.25pm and my daughter was crying. Do better for our children.
Negative experience: "Been trying to get my son back into swim lessons after taking a break for health reasons. I sent an enquiry via the website, but it was not followed through with. When I called and asked if they could email me the available class times, I was told they could do that. I finally worked out that there was a class starting in a few weeks, but was told that they couldn't take bookings for another 2 weeks. I called back exactly 2 weeks later, only to be told that they can no longer book that class. So, after 4 weeks, my son still has not been able to attend any classes. I am very disappointed in the whole process."
Negative experience: After 4 months of fortnightly billed membership I have cancelled my membership due to the incompetent maintenance by the management company "Bluefit". As an age pensioner and long time resident in the Playford Council area (the OWNERS of Aquadome), I wished to use the facility primarily for the spa and steam room for relief from osteo-arthritis. Since the new year there have been ongoing issues with both. Steam room not working and spa stone cold. Their only answer when questioned about these issues is " We send people out to fix them but they can't fix it. Well there are 2 obvious answers to this dilemma. 1) Find someone who can and 2) stop charging people for a service you are incapable of supplying until you do!. BlueFit treat this Council owned facility as their own private cash cow with no accountability to either the Playford Council or its customers.
Negative experience: It is very hard to communicate with them. I wanted to cancel my baby's lessons and membership, on the first call they say you should do it online, on the other call your wife needs to call us and when I call they say you should do it online again. While this messy communication 1 month payment was charged. Still could not cancel.

Fantastic experience: Great place to swim, I do walking, exercise in the rehab lanes which are easy access walk-in and out. Disability change rooms as well as showers, toilets and change rooms. Staff are friendly, plenty of parking but can be very busy at times.

Negative experience: Aquadome puts waaaay too much chlorine in their pools. My daughter came home with a massive red rash all over her face. Which is not ok! Never had an issue with chlorine before. You need to check the chlorine levels and remember young children have more sensitive skin than adults and adjust accordingly!!!!

Positive experience: I have been using this pool since my kids were little and now I swim with my grandkids. While I have always been impressed by the level of standards for a safe and hygienic swimming centre, I now find the hygiene standards lacking. I have always understood, that street atire is not to be worn in the pool. Yet once again, I am seeing woman wearing street clothes that include long headwear down to their waist, long flowing dresses with long pants and long sleeved skivys underneath. Regardless of anyone's personal beliefs, this is very unhygienic. Body sweat in multiple layers of long wet street clothes, plus undergarments are not suitable for swimming and harbour a place for bacteria and other skin conditions. I like everyone else, all meet the same expectations when we enter the pool. So why are the rules around health and hygiene now being ignored for some? If I was to walk in off the street and jump into the pool, I am sure I would be asked to exit. Every summer I see these rules ignored for some people and the numbers increase each year. Today watching a swimming lesson, I sadly see it again. I think the standards are slipping and regardless of an individual's beliefs, hygiene and safety standards should be maintained for everyone. Unless this is addressed I would be hesitant to swim in these conditions.

Fantastic experience: I have been here on a number of occasions for a casual visit and Keavy at the front desk is always so friendly, helpful and welcoming. She is really an asset to your facility! I have reccomended many friends here just for Keavys service alone. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Negative experience: The water was freezing, the slides still aren't open, the water features in the kiddy pool were switched off, the lifeguards were slack in dealing with loud and unruly kids, there was no hot food available and the coffee machine was switched off. Appalling experience, will not be rushing to go back.

Negative experience: Taking my son there almost 2 years, never got issues. Last week I found that I need to pay for my other kid and for my self while looking after her?? They didn’t ask 2 years and suddenly from last week!! And manager was rude and yelling so I. I will happy to pay but why they didn’t tell me 2 years before, and why we should pay selectively some not some yes like there are lucky we not
Positive experience: Always very hot there, steamy and humid. Front Staff are not overly friendly, but just do their jobs. The facilities are okay and kids will enjoy themselves. Always seems to be very busy.

Fantastic experience: The place is really good with not adequate but helpful staff. The pools has clean water with temperature control. The guards all around to watch out for any mishap. They also have a small food court, where you can get some water bottles, chips, cookies etc. The place has a good parking lot as well and it is well connected with the roads also. Apart from that, the gym facility is really amazing. Give it a visit you won't be regretted. Cheers

Positive experience: The gym is the main thing I go here for and it's a nice gym with plenty of equipment that's high quality, there's sanitising spray and paper towels hung up on walls around the room so you can disinfect equipment before and after use and has a cooled water fountain for filling your water bottle. The swim facilities are okay but gets way too crowded in warm weather. Shouldn't have gotten rid of the outdoor pools as it's just squished everyone into 2 single indoor pools.

Negative experience: Have been using this place for years for my kids swimming lessons. Everyone is on a power trip these days. Can't even have my kids play in the shallow end and be a meter away from them without the management yelling at my kids to get closer to their parents. I am responsible for my kids and their swimming let me parent them. 4 times in the space on a hour you guys said something. Will definitely be changing to a different swimming center

Fantastic experience: Staff are relatively helpful though at times getting through the turnstile can take longer than expected. The facilities are fairly good with a family/dry changing room that has multiple individual stalls to get changed in. this is super helpful if you have multiple kids of different genders and you aren't comfortable taking them into an actual gendered change room. It has a basic water slide that is open at specific times and a fairly basic outdoor area that might be nice if you want to picnic outside. Other facilities include a heated spa and sauna.

Positive experience: I have one child who attends swimming lessons here and he does enjoy it, he does get upset when they swap around the teachers but I understand this isn't always avoidable! My other child has been on the wait list to start lessons on a Sunday for about 6 months which has been frustrating, I called again to double check that he is still in the wait list and she said that if someone else calls before the staff check the wait list and books that time slot it is first in best dressed in that case which is a pretty flawed system if you ask me, unfortunately I am going to have to change them to another centre that is further away so they can both attend.

Sundays are quite a popular day for swimming lessons however I apologise for your wait. I understand if you have gone to another centre however if you would like to come back, I would advise calling the centre and asking for an update on the waiting list (if your son is still on it), as this might help speed up the process. Negative experience: Staff are amazing, however the patrons are rude, selfish and disrespectful. Was constantly giving the lane I was in to an elderly man so he could have a decent swim, not once did he thank me for getting out and going to the main pool. Last week I stayed in my lane and when the man arrived he made a lot more splashing than normal and made it impossible for me to swim. I spent most of the time up against the wall trying to get out of his way. I am there when they open at 5.30 and say hello to others, the only people who actually say hello back are the staff! The ceilings in the showers also need a mould treatment, yuk.

In regards to your experience with fellow patrons, we have communicated with the team to be alert around our lane management and patron behaviour. Unfortunately we cannot control the behaviour of others, however if you have a similar experience during your next swim we do encourage that you bring it to the lifeguards attention, so that the team can assist you.
Negative experience: I used to love going to the pool. However since Bluefit has been running the pools it has too have been obvious to you that pool attendance has dropped significantly because the temperature is way too cold. As I've had a new knee I have to go. I know a lot of friends who used to go elsewhere.

Our team would like to reassure you that the water temperature is regulated to sit at approximately 30ºc (following standard practice). In future if you have any concerns around the water temperature please advise our team so that we can follow the concern up ASAP.
Negative experience: Would be awesome if it had different management, general manager enjoys conflict, has a massive power trip and has trained the staff the same way. If you want a gym with cool staff this isn’t it. Disgusted with the treatment I received for being on crutches.
Negative experience: I've been coming here for years and its a great pool. However, the change room situation does not accommodate for baby/ toddlers and generally stinks of urine. The change table i went to use for changing my 11 month old had baby cockroaches running all over it to which i notified the staff. The changeroom for disabled is rusty and disgusting. I believe they need a cleaner on throughout the day just to mop up the urine smells from the showers and sanitise the wet areas.

In regards to the change rooms, we highly encourage parents to use the family change room area which is more child/baby/toddler friendly and has more space for prams and additional people. Positive experience: This place is value for money! The smell of chlorine hits you as soon as you walk in but the staff is friendly and helpful but lots of fine print that is not made clear and you learn about it as you go. People at the counter sometimes give incorrect info and then other member give different info. Overall, good teachers but they need to work on the customer service information they provide but they are all friendly, which is great.

Fantastic experience: The Elizabeth Aquadome is the best! Been a member for a couple weeks now and have really enjoyed using the gym facilities and the 24/7 access. What appeals to me about this place is the all round vibe, amazing and friendly staff and good members. Gym, pool, spa, well trained and friendly staff, good coffee, what else can ya ask for! Negative experience: One of worst swimming pool we visited ever in this area. Staffs are not friendly. Making orders to customers not to take photos and be with children at all times within 50cm They have hidden rules of their own. Never go back again Worst experience ever
Hi Lee, due to the nature of being in a swimming pool unless you have the permission of the people in the photo, images should not be taken. In regards to children being near you at all times, this is dependent on their age, if the child is under 5 years old, around water they must always be within arms reach for safety. These are written in our conditions of entry which can be found on the wall in our facility and on our website. We apologise if this was not communicated clearly, however these rules are in place to protect our patrons of all ages. Thank you.
Negative experience: Went to the gym once ,dont think things get wiped down like they should.was sick for 4 weeks.but lots of equipment and nice place. Take alcohol wipes with you for before and after

Negative experience: I had signed up for 3 months and when I announced I will need to bring in my exercise physiologist to guide me through my exercises after a work injury,I was told by one of the acting supervisor that if I'm seen getting help I would be asked to leave along with my ep as it was told to me it was a conflict of interest.i was never offered an appointment with their EP nor a price guide.aquadome brought my membership forward as to allow me to get advise for my exercises from an EP yet still not offering an appointment with theirs .in the process of this I was going through some mentle health issues and made aquadome aware of this as I was not able to attend the gym until I was better.i asked could the membership be brought forward once again as I was ready to start the 3 month membership.they said no I had signed for 3 months membership and although I havnt used any and have communicated my issues with them it was bad luck.seems to me eventhough they could move it forward once due to them not allowing an outsider to help me do my exercises correctly.when I've expressed my mentle health issues to probably an unprofessional person,they don't care,bad luck to me that I chose this gym to be rehabilitated because I've now lost 2 months membership.seems to me they don't support people with mentle health issues,they can move it once because of refusal to bring in an outside EP,but not a second time for mentle health.VERY dissapointed.i would give it no stars but I had to pick one.
Negative experience: Friday, 05/11/21 The lady who was manager of pool was very rude with me because I just forgot my mask and I asked a question and then she responded with anger and she said:you don't have mask and I don't serve you!!!! Is this the way that you guys treat with your customers??? As a permanent customer it would be a failure for your business.

Fantastic experience: Really nice inside very clean and great place to swim and take the kids as it has a great kids pool section as well as a adults pool,spa and sauna along with a great size slide amenities on site a gym and eating area plenty of parking space i highly recommend this swim centre

Negative experience: The whole time me n my family we’re told off they kept picking at us but seen others doing wrong in the swimming centre but is only pointing us out im never coming back here again as they were rude constantly to us because we weren’t going slow enough or fast enough even if we stayed still they had ago I’ll never come back and neither will my family
