Anytime Fitness Elizabeth

Negative experience: You can find a lot better for half the price and no lock in contracts with 5x the space, equipment, bathrooms no lock in contracts and even extras like saunas, woman’s gyms, protein bars ect. Please do your research before signing up here it’s really not worth the money or the hassle of a lock in contract, I have many of my younger friends in debt because of it, and it’s one of the most expensive gyms with half the benefits. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE MARKETING!!!

Negative experience: I went to this gym basically right throughout high school and switched gyms about a year ago. I am only now leaving a review as I have realised since getting older and being at a much better gym how bad my experience was, and just don't want anyone else to get taken advantage of due to there lack of gym knowledge or being young and easy to manipulate. There is a lot I could mention that happened whilst training there but I’m just going to mention my experience trying to leave. I had moved far away from Elizabeth and was never able to come down to cancel my membership and was told every time I tried to cancel it over the phone I had to come in and all they could do was freeze it, so after months of freezing my membership I noticed money was still coming out every now and then, I got sick of it and made the long drive down there to go in and cancel, once I had canceled I was told I would still need to pay for a months worth as it was a part of the agreement so I signed the paperwork and left. Months went past and I noticed that they were still had been changing me, when I called to ask they told me I never came in to sign the paperwork and accused me of lying, when I asked to check the cameras they told me that the cameras only went back a month. After multiple attempts of trying to find proof but was unable to as my call history didn’t go back that far and they didn’t send me a cancellation email, they cancelled my membership over the phone (which they apparently couldn’t do) and did not refund any of my money. After being a loyal member for so long treating me this way when I left is disgusting.

Positive experience: They renovated the place and made it worse lol. The one thing I and probably a lot of people wanted was air-conditioning but that was the one thing they didn't change and now the fans don't automatically rotate when on so you are literally dying in the cardio section

Negative experience: Member of anytime fitness for 12 years loved training at all their gyms across adelaide recently got transferred to Elizabeth where they decided to put my monthly cost up 26$ without any call or message spoke to the owner who told me to terminate my membership if I wasn't happy. Very poor customer service of a member for 12 years All of the other workers there are great but will not be returning to this gym or recommending it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Elizabeth AF for around a year now and overall I've been training with AF for 7 years. I started at the woodcraft AF the first store and have progressed all over Adelaide training at most places. I've found that AF Elizabeth has been the best for overall cleanliness, organisation and engaging staff that keep the "challenge board" full of monthly fun challenges. The staff are extremely friendly and the vibe in the gym is very chill with very minimal "gym bro's". The coffee machine is available generally during the staffed hours and I take full advantage of this, the coffee is strong and quite tasty and I'm quite picky with coffee so solid pick on the beans! I'll continue to train at this gym for as long as I'm in the area. I should probably add that I live in Munno Parra West and make the commute to here over going to the AF there due to it's lack of cleanliness, organisation and engaging staff.

Positive experience: This place is quiet in the morning, especially weekends, they do free activities too.

Negative experience: No empathy from the girl I spoke to. Explained that I couldn't pay my fees coz I'm locked down in my house as my daughter has corona virus & obviously I can't leave. I can't go to work I'm literally making $0 as I'm casual. Can barely afford to live or eat yet they won't put my fees on hold. Would never go back to the Elizabeth gym not after this. My daughter did not ask to be sick & I did not ask to be stuck at home not knowing when I can go back to work. No lock in contract which means I pay more every fortnight but they refuse to let me out of it. Ridiculous gym. Run by idiots. Do not join up coz U will be locked in & they'll just keep running up the debt

Fantastic experience: It's amazing here, I believe it is one of the biggest Anytime Fitness's I've been to so far in the Northern Suburbs. It's welcoming, clean and the locals comply with the COVID-19 Rules. The Staff appear to offer a variety of services eg. Bodybuilding, different Classes each week, Nutrition Guides and Tips with their Gym Equipment. Good Job Anytime Fitness Elizabeth ❤

Fantastic experience: Good Gym. This is about the 5 or 6th AF Gym I've been too. Clean, wipes well stocked and all machines working fine.

Positive experience: For an Anytime Fitness facility it certainly bucks trends. The emphasis owners have placed on family friendly environment shows clearly I have observed by just how close regulars are with one another. Mural of names by stairs is just another demonstration of this. Only things lacking we're bumper plates for platform, freestanding bench press (like most AF gyms) and rules around chalk usage were a bit unreasonable. Other than that no issues. If looking for a gym that isn't intimidating whilst at same time doesn't suppress your training methods come in and try out for 7 days at least on a trial. Great work guys

Positive experience: The gym is ok. However when it rains, some equipment gets wet and unusable as there seems to be a leak in the roof. Some of the equipment is a little rusty and squeaks at times.

Negative experience: Lack of equipment like chest dips machine. Please bring chest dips machine it's important.
