Fantastic experience: It’s a great gym! It has all the equiment you need for a good work-out. It comes with a great app which also works as a door opener 24/7. The staff is very kin: and is always willing to help you out if you have any questions. I would totally recommend this gym to other people!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym since 2014. There were so many issues until Justin took over. After that, the only thing I saw was improvement basically every year. The gym mightn't be large but it had everything I needed, nice and new equipment and also great crowd who were serious about working out. I have made many friends at this gym. The cost was also affordable. It is so sad to leave as I'm moving out of the country. Thank you so much Justin so making this gym so great. It was the second most visited place after home. I will definitely come and visit when I have a chance to come back to Sydney.

Fantastic experience: I am a fitness passport holder and choose to train at Plus Fitness Darlinghurst. I have been coming here for two years and the gym is always clean, tidy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It has everything you need. A bonus is you can redeem points with every visit and get cool rewards for it.

Positive experience: This small gym is ok but I wish it was a bit nicer inside, like some real plants here and there to make it feel less clinical would be great. Other changes I recommend: make the window frosting less high so we can actually see outside. Update the TV software to just be on a generic pop hits channel — the current loading screen stays on for too long. Better overhead lighting… like big flat panels instead of small intense circle floodlights. The treadmills seem somewhat new but the touch screen is very slow on them... Have to touch it like 5 times for it to register what I am pressing. I don’t like how all the weight area faces the treadmills and bikes. Also, just read the other reviews about a sneaky 4 week cancelation requirement for month to month plans — I agree with the other person this is not clear. It doesn’t matter if you think it’s clear in the terms — if people keep having the same issue that means it is not clear.

Negative experience: Small, machines like pull ups not adjusted properly for people that is not tall enough, lack of equipment, very dissapointing gym, thought that i was gonna be able of keeping my subscription by moving to paddington, i was wrong.

Negative experience: Be careful with membership cancellation policies! When I joined a few months ago, the staff member told me I could cancel at any time without any cost. However, after canceling my membership, they kept charging me and later informed me that the cancellation takes a month to process, during which I would continue to be charged for no reason. Not only was this never mentioned in person, but it’s also nowhere to be found on their website—unless it’s buried somewhere in tiny font. Pretty disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for more than 6 years after transferring from a larger more popular gym nearby, where there was a definite non-welcoming “attitude” among members, particularly towards women and older gym users like myself. Plus Fitness Darlinghurst is small but perfectly formed. It’s a welcoming place with a good range of well maintained equipment. The gym itself has been refurbished recently. It’s cleaned regularly and is managed with a lot of care and attention by Justin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gym

Fantastic experience: On holiday, I stayed across the street and popped in to see about day passes so I could grab a few workouts while traveling. Justin was so lovely and immediately set me up with a key card and it was very reasonably priced for a few day passes. The gym is small but had everything I needed and the vibes were great!

Positive experience: Quite small, but not crowded and has a good range of equipment. Water fountain has been out of order for sometime and staff are generally disinterested.

Positive experience: Solid! —————— After a few years, I have to update the rating from 5 to 3 because of the really bad cancellation policy that makes no sense. The gym itself was great, but the cancellation policy is horrible.

Positive experience: Great gym, quite small yet usually empty and has plenty of dumbbells and plates. However hard to set up hip thrusts and an extra deadlifting barbell would be great. The barbells are a little dirty too. Nonetheless a good atmosphere and friendly employees.

Particularly over the past few weeks I've noticed that the staff are constantly wiping down and cleaning all the machines. It's great to see they are taking the whole pandemic situation seriously and are really looking out for their clients and keeping us safe. You're doing a great job guys! Keep it up :)

Positive experience: I like the fans in the wall near the treadmills as it gets stuffy. The water station area is very dark and wet wipes instead of a bottlespray to clean machines would be more convenient. I would like to see a recumbent bike as I have back issues and other gyms have them. Overall 4 stars

Fantastic experience: I used to go Plus Fitness almost 3 months. The location is perfect and it's accessible for 24/7 all week. The staff especially Justin & David are always positive, helpful and nice. It's not so crowded place so I usually use facilities whenever I want. Definitely advice everyone who wants not expensive but quality service!
