Fantastic experience: Premier Gym is hands-down one of the best gyms around. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The facilities are top-notch, everything you need whether you’re lifting, doing cardio, or recovery work. The hygiene and cleanliness standards are excellent; the place is always spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend to anyone serious about training in a great environment!

Positive experience: It’s a well-maintained gym with everything you need for general health and fitness. The pool and hot-cold therapy area are great for recovery, and the staff keep the place clean and organized. The layout isn’t the most efficient, you often need to move between different rooms and levels for certain equipment, but they’ve made the most of the limited space. However, the Wi-Fi and internet signal have been a major issue since the day I joined over three years ago. It’s often extremely weak or completely unavailable, which makes it hard to use fitness apps or stream music. It’s a solid gym overall, but fixing the Wi-Fi would make a huge difference to the experience.

Fantastic experience: This definitely is a premier fitness club, as the name states. This multilevel facility has rooms for swimming, yoga, spin, weights and anything you want to do. The staff are friendly. The location is great, if you live or are staying in the CBD

Fantastic experience: George Accari at Premier Health and Fitness helped me achieve my fitness goals. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Weather you are wanting to lose weight, tone, gain muscle or just get moving again, George is your guy. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: After spending a years at the larger fitness names in Sydney CBD, I have joined Premier and its honestly head and shoulders above in terms of atmosphere and facilities. The cold plunge and 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms are actually always free so no waiting around and its zen vibes! Friendly, good energy and more laid back in the gym than other places

Fantastic experience: Outstanding luxury gym. One of the best I have been too. New, clean and spacious facility. No need to wait in line for equipment. I love the shower in the steam room. Lots of steam too. Tom was great and friendly.

Negative experience: This place is going downhill at an epic rate of knots. Customer service is frankly shameful and the state of the gym continues to deteriorate on the daily. Go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome. Towels for gym use and showering provided. Clean facilities and there is no loud music blasting from speakers. Lots of classes. Everyone mostly minds their own business and it hardly gets that busy.

Negative experience: their reciptionist shit, i was trying to reach manager for some quarry but she said they are not intersted and hang up the call on my face. is this the way you guys provide service to customers? I will tell everyone, all my friends, not to with you

Fantastic experience: Great gym, good equipment, clean never overcrowded with the brilliant addition of free classes, a pool and sauna.

Negative experience: I have a fitness passport membership which i pay 1700 dollars a year. I use it interstate regularly can't use it at this gym unless you pay 200 dollar fee. Thats ridiculous. Defeats the purpose of the fitness passport.

Fantastic experience: Great price for all the facilities! Awesome weights, pool, saunas, ice plunge, classes, showers. Easy to go on lunch break and pump out some weights without fighting for a machine. They're not trying to sting you with fine print costs like lost pass replacements. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars. Members are weird and stare at you in the change rooms. Very fruity member base if you know what I mean. Busy all the time, sauna vibes are strange. Avoid and go to World Gym instead.

Positive experience: Not a friendly or welcoming gym. All the other members think they are better than you when they’re far from it. Staff are nice and the equipment and amenities are overall great. Just the vibe from the other snobbish members makes me not want to come back here. I’ve worked in gyms and been training for 10 years and this gym is up there with the worst members I’ve seen. The gym also has a strong chlorine smell from the pool and can get quite busy after 3pm. Also closes quite early on weekends. If you’re stuck up you’ll fit in great here.

Fantastic experience: So i signed up here yesterday 12/12/2024 This gym is tenfold better then FF platinum or any other gym you probably have ever gone too. The facilities are spotless all equipment is working nothing out of order and towels provided to members. Sometimes in life we pay abit more which you will here but if your willing to invest in health and fitness sign up here truely a amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: The best hidden gem of a gym nestled right in the heart of the city. You pay a premium and you get exactly what you pay for at this premier location. Expensive sauna, and cold plunge are what I like, but all of the facilities are fantastic. In fact, don’t come, we prefer to have fewer people there. Ha ha ha. But seriously this is a great find and can’t be missed if you are an exercise enthusiast.

Negative experience: Very poor handling of the hot water incidence today. If the shower hot water is not available then staff should have gone around the floor notifying those who already check-in before the notice was put up at reception or a notice posted on the shower door. How would one feel after applying soap & shampoo ready for a wash, and only to wait and wait but no hot water but just plain chilly cold water? Do you expect everyone to have a chilly cold shower in winter? Sadly, I had to have a quick rinse under the chilly cold shower and rushing to get home to get a hot shower to get the chilly feeling out of my body.

Fantastic experience: If you want to go to a place to plan the party and act silly, this place is not for you. If you like flashy colors and bizarre lights to make people think you're in the most fun place in the world, this place is not for you. If you want to put your phone or tripod to record yourself and tell everyone how awesome you are, this place is not for you. If you're from the crystal generation where everything bothers you and you complain even about toilet paper not having drawings, this place is not for you. If you don't understand or take the time to read the rules, this place is not for you. If you're looking to pay $10 a week, this place is not for you. I love this place, I've been through 3 gyms in Sydney, 2 with many branches that were a disaster and tied me up for 12 and 18 months. Always full of people and kids goofing around and guys recording themselves for their social media. The third one was really high-end but I realized that Premier Health offered me more for less money. There are many older people, but they inspire me and I hope to be like them at their age. I love not having 17-year-old kids competing and talking about girls everywhere. I love not seeing girls who just want to show off and look for their next encounter. This place is really nice and I've felt really comfortable. The teachers are really friendly and the reception girls do their job, I certainly don't aim to be friends with them.

Fantastic experience: It’s Incredible and stunning you will feel like you’re in a luxury resort as soon as you walk down the stairs. Customer Service: Natalie at front desk is lovely and so are the floor staff, sales team and personal trainers. Especially John who was really helpful in showing me around. If one day I ever decide to commit to a membership I’d want him to sign me up but for now casual visits suits my hectic unpredictable schedule just fine. The team here makes sure people are enjoying their inward time and taking a break from the outside world. The Facilities: Its amazing and I really liked the steam room which had a stream shower inside it so you won’t need to go in and out to refresh and hydrate the skin. I wouldn’t call this place soulless but rather an exclusive place and worth the spacious feel to it. The Others: Going down to the weight lifting/gym wasn’t my scene because I personally get my exercise from hiking outdoors and so I’m only at the gym for the facilities and to use my hair mask in the steam room. But I still went downstairs to check it out and as predicted there’s always that 1 person with attitude problem who hasn’t outgrown his “stranger danger” and has “the territorial look”. He’s a patron not staff. Other than that everyone else was fine minding their own business. The men were mostly fit and healthy I appreciated the nice view. Classes: Lots of options you must visit their website or ask John when you book in a tour. Pricing: You pay for quality, you get quality and this place meets all of that. Already available towel, shampoos and conditioner, body wash are all up to standards. Female shower & locker room is immaculate. Cleanliness: Most definitely clean because this is a 5 Star gym. Fresh towels were being stocked up every 30 minutes or so and if there’s no towel just ask the staff they’re hospitable and attentive. Recommendation: Back when I was at the jacuzzi some of the ladies were nice to point out that it’s really a great place. And it really is. I liked that you come in do your own thing and leave. I’m not here to socialise, network or do any of that. My energy goes to the crowd when I’m entertaining them so when I’m at a gym I just want to relax quietly. And I may have just found the place at this wonderful venue! I also love that there’s no loud doosh doosh music giving me a migraine. P.S “Please Do Not Shave in the Sauna” notice on the wall sent me into stitches laughing… it’s going to be my next stand up comedy material.

Negative experience: Sauna & cold plunge user only. As posted in other reviews I'm a Finnish sauna snob when it comes to saunas. The facilities at PHF are second to none - spacious lockers, clean showers etc. 2 sets of sauna, steam and cold plunge. There's nothing like it in the city. The saunas however, operate at a cold temperature vs the Finnish guidelines. I've spoken to management, and contacted on Facebook, with data, and it remains cold. Members have taken to splashing the sensor to try get the sauna to be even close to a proper temperature, which management is now doing an instant ban if anyone is caught. The simple fix that all parties can agree on is to turn the sauna heat up so no one needs to splash the sensor. No one wants to splash it, we just want heat. The temperature in the men's sauna is probably around 60-65c, and humidity is often in the 40-60% range - too high. There's limited to no airflow in the sauna so is a stale, smelly hot box. Ideally, as you'll see from other reviews ~90c and 20% humidity is the ideal range. There are no gauges in the sauna here, but people have brought their own for the measurements above. Reading the Tylo manual the sauna can go to 90c+ (up to 110c!) without issue. The ambient sensor's position is also probably not in the ideal spot to measure accurate temperature. I have spoken to the sauna servicing man when there one time and he said the only reason it's not hotter is due to management.. The cold plunge pool until recently was too warm, but is now a nice I'd guess ~7c. Could be colder, but is cold enough to be felt. Hoping it continues to get colder in winter, but it's depth is great. Missing a few tiles in the pool but prefer it open to having all tiles. For the price point in the CBD there's nothing like this place and for all the hassles, there's still no competition. I would really like to see the sauna's temperature and humidity fixed then I'll move this review to 5 stars. The super low temperature and people having to go against management's wishes at the threat of being banned is just silly. Fix the root cause and increase the temperature. The sauna can handle higher temps. There are 2 saunas, keep the co-ed at a lower temp, adjust the men's temp higher. It generally feels like the team want a set and forget sauna - they have something that works, they don't want to invest more in a dated sauna and want to get as much out of it as they can without having to either tweak settings or improve the quality of the offering. Guess as long as people pay they can continue to get away with the service as it is. It's good enough - I'm a member visiting frequently, so it's good, but it's not good enough to stay if something else opens up in the city.. Edit: I still attend Premier, and the grips above remain. The lack of airflow and low temperature continues to be a significant issue, coupled with benches being too low it's really sub-optimal. Re-rated at 2 stars to align with the other 32 sauna reviews completed to date.

Negative experience: What's so hard about putting a price on the website? No "$10 for 10 weeks", no "50% off your first 3 months", just put the price. Stop playing games with customers who just want a simple 4 digit number split by a decimal.

Negative experience: Worst place on earth, staff don’t care, the clients that attend are rude and obnoxious. There was never any towels and locker were kept by older clients, so you could never find one for your session. STAY AWAY

Negative experience: $70 for a day pass ? extreme greed. was $50 for a day pass last year and even that was steep. but increasing to $70 to come in for 1 day is extreme greed and a very bad look.

Negative experience: Very bad feeling at the first sight. I’m a member of Brookvale and there they told that I can go freely on both ones. The girl on the desk on this premier was very unfriendly to me, that she didn’t allowed me to get inside, even I show my membership etc! Very rude and unexpected. I felt discriminated to be very honest.

Positive experience: Very expensive for a drop-in, but the amenities are fantastic. The indoor pool had the perfect temperature. Everything was clean and orderly.

Positive experience: On paper this gym is great. Has a decent weights area, big pool, fresh towels, multiple steam rooms/saunas and even cold plunges, which is rare to find altogether, especially in the city. But WOW this place is just so very... weird. For starters, it has this creamy, old, off-colored look from the 80s that permeates throughout and just lacks any sense of charm or character. It's so incredibly unmotivating to be in because you feel like either you're in a sad retirement village or some abandoned hotel that's been eerily maintained over the years, just very strange vibes. Seriously, being accidently locked inside this place and having to spend the night alone would be the stuff of nightmares. It truly has an ominous, soulless feel about it. But putting the bleak aesthethetics and general creepiness aside, you won't find many other gyms offering what this one does, maybe Virgin Active but it's likely more expensive. All this place really needs is to lighten up and modernise a bit, gain some character and play some music. Would go a long way

Positive experience: On the outside, this place gleams with sophistication, but inside, it's a soulless and unwelcoming oasis. I'm enduring this place until my membership expires. What this gym lacks, in a word, is community. Few seem genuinely happy here, and personal insecurity runs high. Many are unwilling to share a machine during peak hours, even by some personal trainers. No one talks to anybody. Silence reigns; people work harder to avoid contact than to say 'hi.' This beautiful gym disguises a lonely existence beneath marble, glass, and mirrors, all tied to status. It's like all the worst attitudes about Sydney (as a city) condensed into one space. It's a true pity. On a brighter note, the staff are friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. They're the saving grace. And the gym has all the amenities you need and want.

Negative experience: Went in there today and was told that my membership needed to be renewed, to the tune of $99, even though I joined via Fitness Passport, for which I pay $40 per fortnight. And even though Premier Fitness told me when I first signed up that the $99 fee was a one-off. I asked the receptionist about that and she said something like 'yeah it used to be a one-off, but now it's not'. Really unimpressed - they should honour the commitment they made. Won't be 'renewing', I'll just go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: As a regular gym goer from out of town my family managed to get passes into Premier Health and Fitness. We all train differently so split up for an hour or so and when we caught up in the pool and spa we all agreed it was a awesome place. Staff were fantastic other members were very friendly so this gym is highly recommended

No meatheads and a good range of equipment, even when it's a bit busy it doesn't feel crammed. Towel service is great - means I don't have to lug one to work with me everyday. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Change rooms, showers , gym and classes are perfect. Plunch pool is amazing. Swimming pool is clean and comfortable. Sauna and steam rooms aren't hot enough. These need re-adjusting , if the machines work longer then will be perfect. But they do stop heating too soon. I still recommend this place.

Negative experience: I love everything about this gym! Facilities are clean, classes are the very best and all of the staff are so helpful and lovely except for one guy called Satchin who completely tainted my experience. Although it’s a great gym, I will not be going back because of his rude and aggressive customer service. He phoned me several times abusing me and telling me that I could not keep my membership on hold when I had Covid and was too unwell to go to the gym. Against my will, he unfroze my membership and I lost the remainder that I had trusted the gym with the prepayment of. This was very upsetting because when I signed up with the lovely Lauren and Natalia I made sure that my membership could be frozen. Satchin told me that the lovely staff member Lauren who signed me up had been fired for giving customers the ability to freeze their memberships when I know that she took another job in an industry that she wanted to work in. SLANDEROUS! This guy is a grade A abuser. Rant over, If it weren’t for his bad behaviour I would have definitely prepaid another year as I can’t recommend enough how wonderful the other staff and teachers are.

Fantastic experience: Three level gym with everything you need in one place: Swimming pool, cold plunge, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, WALK IN classes (that's right, no booking necessary ), dedicated weights section, Cardiovascular rooms and TWO Large (penthouse apartment sized) bathrooms. It's a shame luxury gyms are such an untapped market, Premier Health & Fitness would definitely be leading the pack!

Fantastic experience: A pretty flash gym. Plenty of benches, squat rack and cable machines. They've an Olympic lifting rack, too. A reasonable selection of strength machines, but don't have it all. A delt-fly machine to complement the pec-fly would be good. They've an indoor pool, spa, plunge pool and sauna. They don't have any strongman or cross-fit style accessories - farmers carries and a sled would be good, possiblity some atlas stones and a climbing rack. But still, in the centre of the city and for the money, it is a bargain. Update: I've been training here for over 6 months. While there is a limited amount of machinery, the service and amenities are fantastic. Everyone, staff and users, are really friendly. People are happy to work in. Also, a big thanks to Caleb for cutting into his own workout time to spot me for a PB on bench. Definitely one of the best gyms I've trained at.

I even once emailed them about the cups that they use and they set up recycling bins right after to make sure they were doing right by the environment. A really great place to train all round.
