Plus Fitness Mount Lawley

Fantastic experience: I thought it's gonna be like the one near home (better not to mention which one) but it's unexpectedly super clean and comfy. Well-placed and well-maintained equipment, clean toilets, good ambience. Really happy!

Negative experience: Difficult to cancel membership and difficult staff. They won't allow a membership cancellation even after requesting multiple times via email and phone. Unfortunate dealing with such staff. Instead prompting to utilize an online portal I have never logged into. FYI membership still not cancelled.

Fantastic experience: A well equipped gym that's clean and spacious. It has all I need. Emily and staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. I was looking for a new Gym, as my regular was looking tired and dated, with lots of machines down for maintenance. Saw Plus Fitness Mt Lawley advertised on Tick Tok as newly renovated, and thought I'd check it out for myself. Was greeted by extremely friendly staff who gave me a tour and were willing to answer any questions I had. The gym is spotless, and despite being busy, there was plenty of space and equipment for use. Signed up for a free trial and I was hooked. Emily the manager is always friendly, happy to chat and greets everyone with a smile. After persevering with outdated gyms, I'm so happy I stumbled across plus fitness. I couldn't recommend the gym and staff at Mt Lawley any more.

Fantastic experience: Iv been to a few gyms but no other gyms compare to the staff at this gym. They are very friendly and lots of us boys will just have conversations with them. They also help assist you if u need a spot or help with your form.

Negative experience: Worst gym in Perth! Please be careful when have membership with Plus’s fitness/mt Lawley. They have charged me while I was in overseas and refused to refund it.There are here to take advantage of people pls pls careful & I highly recommending you to go somewhere else where they will treat you with respect & assist you with good customer Service.

Fantastic experience: The nicest atmosphere at any gym I’ve ever been to. Emily the manager is awesome, she’s so welcoming and kind and does so much to make the gym as great as it is. All the personal trainers rock, I’ve been training with Bridget on and off for a few years, and I’m currently training with her again and would highly recommend her. Everyone is welcoming and kind, there’s no judgement. All updated and brand new gym equipment and weights, great options in the vending machines. Will always be my first recommended gym to anyone.

Negative experience: We were signed up for over 6 months and it’s the worst gym I’ve ever been signed up to. When they renovated they never let us know so we turned one day to the gym closed. They take money out of your account - an excessive amount for no reason and they take an awfully long time to respond to emails, to the point of you needing to follow up with multiple phone calls! No accountability or apology. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If I could give one star I would.

Negative experience: Have been a member at Plus Fitness Mt Lawley since inception and have always been very happy thrre. First time back today after holidays following their renovations. Whilst the gym looks fresh and pretty following the renovations, it's disappointing to see the removal of bicep curl and tricep extension machines which I used on every visit. Not everyone wants to use free weights for these exercises. They also now have multiple machines for some exercises like last pulldowns but kicked the bicep and tricep machines to the kerb. You've turned a happy member into a very disappointed one.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Vincent Romeo for the past 3 months, 2 times a week specifically on movement and getting my general strength back. During this time without any change to diet i saw a 4% bodyfat loss, 11cm off my waist and my body shape starting to change for the better. Moving into phase 2 i am confident i have the solid foundations to be making real gains with a proper diet in place and proper technique. This is all possible because the approach that Vincent takes when working with you, Safety first, and make small steps consistently to achieve long term success. I would highly recommend those looking for a personal trainer to try Vincent Romeo

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness in Mt Lawley is a friendly, well-equipped and clean gym. In the past I've found gyms to be intimidating, however all of the trainers and staff at Plus are lovely, warm and approachable. I'd like to especially give a shout to PT Vini Romeo! He's an incredibly encouraging, enthusiastic and supportive trainer and has helped me with general fitness as well as rehabilitation. Thanks gang xox

Negative experience: Just had a very frustrated experience. Called the gym I’m the morning - no answer. Checked staffed hours and came after work to purchase membership. Was completely ignored by the lady at the reception, had to wait 30 min and listen to her conversation about everything in the world with two other women. I kept waiting, but after she asked them: ‘how long have you guys been dating?’ It became too much, I just walked out and never going to come back to this chain. Working in customer service myself, it is extremely frustrating to see someone being so unprofessional, asking questions about dating and where they live etc, while another customer is waiting. The trainer who saw all of this tried to make it better and told me a bit about the gym but I wasn’t ready to wait for another hour till the receptionist finishes her conversation.

Positive experience: Been to 5 other Plus Fitnesses. Certainly good amount of machines although they are a old compared to the other gyms. Main thing which lets it down is the lighting. Very dull and dark even when we went during mid day. Definitely prefer the Morley Plus which isn’t too far away

Positive experience: First star locations, every where I seem to find myself I can work out. Second star the place is clean and the machines in good nick. Third star the member are friendly no matter whic location I go to. Forth star the price to be a member is very affordable and now with NIB Loss of a star for allowing members to train with out towels. Ewww!! Even during manned hours.

Fantastic experience: Probably the coolest gym in Perth fantastic community everyone knows everyone vibe, staff and friendly professional and willing to help you out, plenty of free weight equipment including 3 squat racks, benches and a wide range of cardio equipment from rope climbers, sled section, battle ropes and jacobs ladder if your looking to mix up your training.

Fantastic experience: First, excellent atmosphere. From the moment you walk in the staff and trainers are there to match your energy. Getting pumped for a workout? They're getting pumped with you. Slinking in with a hang over and earphones in? A friendly nod to encourage sweating out the booze. Second, solid equipment. The club posts a great array of various equipment, from excellent lifting bars to Stairmaster cardio equipment. They have stuff that suits beginners and up to experienced lifters, with squat racks and bumper plates. Third, great value for money. They often have special deals to entice punters further, but even their base joining fee and weekly rate is extremely competitive. It also gives you complete access to other Plus Fitness gyms across Australia, great for staying fit when traveling.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to be allocated Vini Romeo when I signed up several months ago. While all of the PT's are very friendly and are available for assistance, Vini has gone above and beyond since I've been working with him. If it wasn't for him, I probably would have quit already! He is extremely patient with me when i need it, but also pushes me when I need it too! I honestly can't reccomended him highly enough. As for the gym, it feels really welcoming of all types. I'm not great with fitness, and have previously felt intimidated and self conscious at gyms in the past. Plus fitness has a number of serious strength trainers, along with beginners like me. It's great that they have fostered an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and safe. I love it!

Friendly atmosphere from the gym staff and patrons, and personal trainers who actually want to help you get better results. Also a gym where lifting max weights is encouraged and not frowned upon! Fantastic experience: Of all the Commercial Gym's I've visited, the Mount Lawley Plus Fitness is consistently the neatest, most well maintained gym around. Tons of great equipment to cater for the casual gym goer, all the way up to serious strength trainers. A high standard is encouraged for all members to help keep the gym neat and tidy and it shows that it's very much the exception to come in and find a section in a mess. I think this reflects the attitude of the staff & trainers, who are really invested in their clients. Top shelf gym and I'm glad to be a member!
