Fantastic experience: Good sized gym and good price. No hard sales or any of the BS like other gyms.

Negative experience: The equipment at this gym is decent, especially for powerlifting, has good staff but some of them are an absolute joke. They’ll harass you over the smallest things—like having a gym bag tucked away, out of the walkway—while blatantly ignoring other members with bags blocking actual paths. It’s clear there’s some selective enforcement going on because my mate and I are constantly singled out, while others get a free pass. If you enjoy being treated unfairly by staff who act like power-hungry hall monitors, this is the place for you. Otherwise, take your money somewhere that actually respects its members.

Negative experience: Equipment and gym community is great but some of the staff need to learn to not powertrip, If you want your customers to come back treat them with respect ‍♀️

Negative experience: been member of this gym since late 2023. Only been using it for sauna as equipment is very dated, facilities are dirty, bathroom stinks. Sauna is not running hot all. Best it runs is at 60 degrees. Last night it was running at 35 degrees. Would not call it sauna. Maybe a warm room at best. Very Disappointed.

Negative experience: I was in reception whilst I was waiting for my coffee, and the manager of the gym walked by me and hip and shouldered me - I wasn’t blocking any pathways & if I was usually people say excuse me when they want to pass instead of physically assaulting you. I was a paying customer, this behaviour is quite frankly unacceptable and childish I would usually let this go, and in fact I have in the past but since this is a reoccurring event I feel it’s needs to be brought up. 1st time: June 1st in reception near second register, 12:30pm & 16th September 2023 at approx 11am near locker cubes in gym for camera references

Negative experience: Danny, the main guy at Spartans is toxic. He creates a creepy environment for younger female members. Definitely don't waste your money especially if you're a young women who doesn't want an old, gross guy making disgusting comments about you or other women. No, I was not wearing anything revealing (a jumper and leggings) and simply said hello to the wonderful staff and he happened to be there....the remarks he made about some of the women were vile.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing Reformer Pilates classes at Spartan’s Kilsyth for the past month and I have been thoroughly impressed . Every staff member I have spoken to and met have been incredibly helpful and friendly. This is the first time I have done Reformer Pilates and from my very first class I was made to feel so welcome and encouraged . The instructors are amazing Thanks especially to Cheryl who is very experienced and so patient. The classes are fun and really spur me on to keep coming back . Thanks very much I highly recommend Spartans ,it is wonderful .

Negative experience: The owner is a creep. It's got great equipment and most people that go there are friendly. Unfortunately the guy that owns the gym is creepy towards young women and says some really messed up stuff.

Fantastic experience: I love this place I have been coming to spartans since November last year, everyone is so nice the workers are all really helpful and nice and most people that go here aren't trying to show of they are tying to improve themselves and help others. I am so thankful for spartan I tell all my mates to come here and highly recommend it

Fantastic experience: Great gym, staff lovely, lots of equipment. Need to update their fitness passport, it says access card is not required however $50 access card required or $10 casual entry.

Negative experience: My partner, my son and myself were going to purchase 3 memberships here, thankfully we didn’t. Firstly my partner and son were shown around the gym by one of the non attentive staff members who was too busy socialising with existing members, she forgot to make the potential members feel remotely welcome. When my partner asked about whether there was assistance available with equipment that they might not be familiar with, the so called friendly staff member said that there were QR code’s you just scan to show you how many reps to do….& if you need any further information that’s what our PT’s are for. It surprised me that staff wouldn’t be able to assist members with equipment assistance. Where the hells the duty of care for newcomers?!! Spartans you lost close to $1700 in memberships due to your lack of hospitality, your inability to assist newcomers within your own Gym…..& staff not delivering a friendly and professional service. Not good enough! I can’t believe I had to even rate you 1 star.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere with a lot of motivated members and friendly staff. Membership is affordable and simple sign up process, there's always specials for new members going on. Having access to the Saunas as well is a huge bonus! Love the thoughtful extras in the Ladies area also.

Negative experience: The worst gym in the eastern suburbs, I wouldn’t waste my time or money here. They were welcoming at first but then I had an incident there, I didn’t feel like I was being heard or seen when i brought it up. It left me feeling disappointed and disgusted on how l was treated. My partner also goes here but found out his contract was cancelled tonight as his year was up. Not one email to say anything about renewing his contract from you guys or anything to remind him it was coming up to a year, he got the Spartans goss but nothing about a reminder email to say it’s nearly Been a year would you like to renew your membership.

Fantastic experience: Biggest and best gym in the eastern suburbs. Huge variety of equipment & best Bootcamp space. Their supp store & cafe has something for everybody - meals. Smoothies, coffee, protein, pre’s! Their staff and super friendly & fun, and their socials content is on point

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, implements features other gyms do not, great layout, great size gym, good staffed hours and extremly handy 24 hour service. Great staff, so occomidating with things like discontinuing direct debits while covid lock downs were implemented plus other things that are too long to writeabout but I would give 10 stars if i could.

Fantastic experience: A bit of a drive but a great GREAT place- staff are really nice & their equipment is of great traditional European Strength (Albeit some of featuring American Numbers- measures in pounds go figure- But yes I know you divide it by 2.2 to understand it in kg)-backed up by Modern Science. Pretty much anyone who lives out that way I would recommend this gym too- Thanks alot guys all the best

Pat is a gentlemen, and this gym is more of a passion project and giving back to the community. His team pride themselves on making sure the members are well looked after, and it’s always a great vibe. Can’t wait until the borders open back up for another visit!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere with a lot of very driven and motivated members. Membership is affordable and simple. They don't ask you to sign a 52 page document. Staff members are very friendly. Plenty of PTs to choose from if you need that. Age & gender and culture friendly. All sorts of people come to this gym and everyone is respectful of eachother. I can't say enough good things about this gym. Just do a free one week trial and you'll see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I was training at Spartans for close to 3 years and regularly attend as a casual member now that I have moved and the gym is unparalleled. The equipment is always well looked after, and the hygiene is maintained well with members attributing to this cleanliness. The gym has the largest range of equipment I have seen to date and allows for less wait times during heavy periods. Not only that, the equipment allows for a much larger option in variety to help keep training plateaus and boredom lower. The use of the bar at the counter is also an extremely useful point being able to get a single scoop of protein, pre workout or other supplements instead of having to splurge on an entire product (also making cycling easier to avoid the body adapting). The staff are unreal and super friendly, and the atmosphere I find to be really welcoming for fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Absolutely unreal gym, if you can, get a membership or visit.

Negative experience: Was at this gym for a while. And had suspended membership whilst away in Europe. To find a $290 overdue bill from Spartans. But recieved no email to say that I had missed a payment. No communication. Dont pay monthly here, they will screw you over.

Positive experience: Nice squat racks, plenty of room for deadlifts. Good selection of different functional strength equipment that complements the main gym well, while also providing the basic core requirements so you don't have to travel between the two for a single workout. Having SkiErg as an option for cardio/warming up for a back workout is also a nice bonus.

Positive experience: The gym is close and convenient. Just busy during peak hours. Friday's and the weekend is a great time to come workout tho. It's nice having a women's gym as well but it is pretty small. Sauna and the infra-red sauna are my favourite although they are also small.

Positive experience: The gym is very affordable for student with a part time job, i looked at other gyms, but this one was the one with the best prices, best deals, and best equipment. I felt very comfortable coming to this gym rather than others and would definitely recommend. Also we got the premium deal with a pt session and the pt was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: The warrior zone opened up in the local neighbourhood recently in addition to the regular gym. Similarities with other high intensity workout gyms and it’s awesome. Huge variety of equipment, spacious and not limited to just normal gym stuff , there is ballet! The staff are always smiling and very friendly . I’d highly recommend it if your looking for a challenge !
