Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with Anytime Fitness’ membership policy. Even when I explained my situation many times and even while I was on holiday, they kept charging my account. Life can change and people can face problems, but the gym is not flexible at all. What upset me the most is that if you want to cancel your membership, they still charge half of the remaining membership fee, which feels very unfair and too expensive. I really hope they review these policies and show more understanding toward members.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to this gym, have only been a handful of times but so far I love it. The gym never feels too over crowded and all the equipment is in good condition with loads of different options. Great cardio machines and spacious yoga/stretching spaces. Fantastic experience: I've been training at Anytime Fitness Collingwood for a while now and the staff have made the experience wonderful. I was initially a bit hesitant - worried it might be a budget gym or have a 'bro gym' atmosphere - but it’s actually got a great, welcoming vibe. The staff are super friendly and approachable, and there's a really positive, welcoming vibe here whether you're a beginner or experienced lifter. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and equipped with weights, machines, functional training space, (and some classes). It could use a few more benches, but that's only in really peak times (having said that, they have over a dozen). I’ve also noticed a few pieces of equipment that could use an upgrade now and then, but it seems like once you flag it with the staff it’s taken care of pretty quickly. All in all, can’t fault it - great place to train!

Fantastic experience: I just joined the gym and the entire process was so seamless. I have been in the touch with this gym for the past 12 months but only recently signed up because I was working overseas and returned a month ago. A few points: (1) Customer service: Great! Maria was there on a Sunday to show me around. Plus the gym has been keeping me informed of the deals the past year. (2) Equipment: Wow! there are a lot of exercise equipment both for cardio or upper/lower body work. Its either new or well maintained. (3) Premises: So central and convenient (plus it is 24/7). I have seen the collingwood gym being renovated since about 2 years ago and now it is the state of the art (with funky purple themes). i cycle so there is a bike parking spot just outside. (4) Gym package: Since I am overseas for 4 - 6 months each year. the gym offers a great package, I can either freeze the period or continue using the anytime fitness gym overseas. (5) Pricing: its reasonable and definitely not expensive. In summary, I would recommend this gym to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Singed up to this gym about 3/4 weeks ago and getting on pretty well. It’s very spacious with lots of equipment so can get a good session In, I usually go around 5pm which is usually a pretty busy time to go but as there is plenty of equipment you don’t have to wait around and might just have to switch it up and do something different until the machine/bench you want is available. The sign up process was easy and straight forward and the staff are very friendly and welcoming!

Positive experience: Tried to cancel my membership by talking to a lady in the office in person. After taking my details she said the membership would be cancelled in a month as per the contract, fair enough. No signing anything, just a guarantee that it'd be cancelled. Turns out it didn't get cancelled and I got charged a month later. I sent them a message and they got back to me a few hours later and let me cancel for that day even though there wasn't any notes or anything. Pretty cool of them, I appreciate it. Overall have had a good experience and the gym is solid too. Would recommend.

Negative experience: This is my first time here but no aircon on. It’s 35 degrees. Come on!!

Fantastic experience: I've been training at this gym for 2.5 years, and it's the perfect neighbourhood spot. Plenty of new equipment, 4+ squat racks, and even more benches. The Anytime Fitness team keeps improving the space, especially on the main weights floor. Josh, in particular, is always helpful and my go-to for any enquiries. Fantastic experience: I worked out twice a day here for 9 months and I love this place. The vibe. The natural light. The layout. How clean and bright it is and I love that they are always doing things to improve the place based on customer feed back. Updating equipment consistently. Music choices. Collaborations with other physicians and dietitians. Classes. Social media updates and amazing promotions and customer service. Josh and the team are just cool and fantastic and it makes for such an enjoyable experience when you come here whatever frame of mind you might be in. I highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to this gym for 9 years and love it. Livvy and Josh and the team are doing a fantastic job. (and Raul is an amazing PT - let him help you get into the best shape of your life and stay there) .We travel a lot have visited many other gyms and are always very happy to get home to this gym. It's big, airy, light and clean. The equipment is mostly new and all very well maintained. The team are super welcoming and on top of everything. There is plenty of equipment, the place is always clean and everything works. It's an easy, welcoming, live and let live place.

Positive experience: I like this gym and location and would like to give 5 stars. The only thing letting it down is the showers are just above Luke warm on max heat setting. Get the hot water a bit hotter and I could not fault this facility.

Fantastic experience: Iv just joined this gym and I absolutely love it. Starting with the staff - they are all so friendly and helpful. A lovely girl from the US called Emmy helped me to find the best option of membership to suit my needs and showed me around. She has that energy that makes you feel instantly welcome and that you belong there. Being new to the area this really helped. The facilities are great! I feel like there is enough equipment and floor space to handle the busiest times, and they also do classes throughout the week. Its set over two floors, and also has decent personal showers and changing rooms. Iv started saying hi to some other gym members, it’s a good vibe. my experience has been very welcoming. Really happy I joined!

Fantastic experience: Well-equipped gym in very good condition. It was easy to set up a temporary membership while I was visiting Melbourne and the staff were really nice. Busy during peak times but off-peak I often had the place to myself or was sharing the space with one or two others. I’ll definitely sign up again when I’m in town.

Fantastic experience: Loved it. Big shower, clean and busy! They have great snacks too They actually have idiot proof weighing machines which I was happy to see. Goes to show they really go above and beyond.
