Fantastic experience: They all the same great equipment

Positive experience: A massive gym with a never-ending supply of equipment! I've been working out here for over 3 months now and I'm still finding new machines to use, & areas to utilise. Does get a little busy through peak hour at times but that's to be expected. The overall energy and the vibe definitely pushes me to show up and work hard on the regular! Update! Been here for about 3 years now (god damn time flies) Decided to move onto another gym to work with a specific PT.. But I will say, I'm not gonna miss this place too much.. Not to say what I said originally doesn't stand but a few things I've noticed over time & of late.. 1. The whole shower/toilet situation is shit (quite literally ) Hope to god you don't have someone in there taking a phat shit while you're having a shower because it's basically like a gas chamber. 2. For whatever reason they removed the hair dryer from the men's change room a few months ago.. & it's never returned.. Personally I loved a cheeky blowdry after a shower.. Helped blow the stench off left behind from the gas chamber 3. The lil 2 man sauna they got in there used to pump tunes which I used to get around, but it seems to have shit itself in the last month or two, after letting the peeps at the desk know awhile back, it has also, never returned So, this place goes alright all in all but just a few lil thangs I disliked upon leaving..

Negative experience: Dishonest Staff - Do Not Recommend My partner asked to join up for 1 month and was told they don’t have a 1 month paid up front membership & he would have to sign up for 1 month to a membership and pay weekly. Turns out, this gym in fact does have a 1 month membership you can pay upfront! The weekly payments is a NEVER-ENDING membership that you have to email the accounts to give 30 days notice & continue to pay for another full months before they stop debits on your bank account. There is a tiny secret box that has to be ticked to stop the payments after the month is up. The gym left this box blank to ensure they got paid for 2 months. When questioned why this wasn’t explained when my partner signed up… World Gyms response “Well he signed the terms and conditions” Well played World Gym Mt Gravatt!!!

Fantastic experience: I have had an ongoing issue with my passport membership which one gym could fix. Went to Mount Gravatt world gym and Kate fixed the issue within and hour excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: I visited World Gym for the day while in town and was really impressed with the overall experience. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference in how comfortable I felt working out there. Everything from the workout areas to the equipment itself was tidy and organized — clearly, the staff take pride in keeping the place in top shape. One of the standout features for me was the changing rooms. They were spacious, modern, and spotless, with plenty of lockers and showers available. It’s not always something you find in every gym, so it was a definite plus. Even though I was just a day visitor, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Sometimes you expect to be treated like just another passerby, but that wasn’t the case here. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. It really added to the positive atmosphere of the gym. Overall, World Gym made a great impression on me. If I were a local, this would definitely be my go-to place to train. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped gym with great customer service.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! Great staff and Mira is such a good PT for myself. As an overweight person I always felt uncomfortable going to gym alone but with Mira's coaching it has been positive experience. Such friendly and welcoming staff every time I walk in.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with everything you need! The equipment is modern and well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. One of the things I appreciate the most as a mom is the creche — it’s such a relief to know that my child is being looked after in a safe, fun environment while I get my workout in. Highly recommend, especially for parents looking for that extra support!

Fantastic experience: The best freaking gym I have ever been too in all of my young years - reformer Pilates ! And The classes are amazing - bathrooms have a sauna, hair straightener and blow dryer too / and the gym is huge! Negative experience: Such an awkward place. I have an issue with working out and not being able to find a spot where there is no one filming or taking photos. The place had a musty smell that was a complete turnoff. The toilets were always disgusting. Just a really creepy vibe overall. I did not feel comfortable from the minute I signed up however I thought I would give it a go as my new PT had recommended this gym. It was hard to find the motivation to get up and go to the gym because I felt it was not the right fit. My PT ended up moving away and that made it even worse. I cancelled my membership because my Mother broke her leg and it was too far for me to travel. They charged a ridiculous exit fee and would not even consider my circumstances. I recommend that you stay away from this gym.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, great group lessons. The only issue is that the staff always try to persuade me to signed up for the membership (instead of single entries), even though I’ve told them that the membership doesn’t meet my need.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I went here consistently when I lived in Mount Gravatt equipment always up to date and the staff were amazing. I moved to the Burleigh World Gym and it’s nowhere near as good I miss the Mount Gravatt gym all the time.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for a close to 3 years now, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve been to. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the equipment is modern. What I really like is that there’s always something new—whether it’s upgraded machines or improvements like the new flooring. You can tell they reinvest in the gym, which keeps things fresh. The place is always clean, especially the bathroom. The machines are well-maintained, and if something needs fixing, it gets sorted quickly. I worked with a trainer for a couple of months, and they really helped me stay on track and reach my goals. One thing that really stands out is the owner (Marco). He’s always around, involved, and you can tell he takes pride in the gym. I always put my weights away, but seeing him personally tidying up and keeping the space organized makes me want to do my part even more. He’s also really approachable, which adds to the great vibe here. Another big plus is that the sauna is included in the membership—most gyms charge extra for that. The location is super convenient, parking is easy, and it never feels overly commercial or impersonal. If you're looking for a gym that feels like more than just a business, with a great community and constant improvements, I’d definitely recommend this place.

I've been a member of World Gym Mount Gravatt for the past Year, and I have to say, this place has truly fulfilled my expectations. As soon as you walk in, the place is huge theres tonnes of space. Its like two warehouses as one. Staff are awesome, prices and shakes are the best feature of this gym. Not many gyms even have this so i love it The gym itself is spacious and well-equipped, offering a wide variety of machines and free weights. The layout is really specific, you have your own leg section then free weights, machines and a back area for body weight fitness, such as punching bags and more. Parking is perfect, its like your own warehouse where parking is right next to the entry and there is an insane amount of spots available. Overall, I highly recommend World Gym Mount Gravatt to anyone looking to kickstart or enhance their fitness journey.

Negative experience: Most staff are very friendly but a guy with black curly hair who is usually working in the night time has no customer service skills. He usually don't greet to clients and make me and my friends feel uncomfortable when we pass the reception. He usually stares people just keep doing what he is doing at the counter unless members greet him first. If I am the owner of the gym, I wouldn't want to hire him

Fantastic experience: World gym Mount Gravatt is definitely a five star gym. From the minute you walk in and get greeted with a big good morning from the friendly staff you feel comfortable. It’s a gym where I believe anyone from all walks of life, all sizes, all races will enjoy their time spent at this gym. The bathrooms and change room facilities are fantastic and always clean. The group fitness classes are fantastic, I love chatting to everyone before and after classes, everyone is very friendly and feels like family after a while. The group fitness classes are for everyone, all fitness levels are made to feel welcome and there is a fantastic variety of classes including reformer Pilates. The group fitness manager Jos, is very knowledgeable with all things fitness and is always happy to give you a helping hand or listen to any requests or suggestions you may have, she seems to be very focused on making everyone’s classes enjoyable. The main gym area is HUGE and very well maintained with a fantastic variety of easy to use machines, and there is always a friendly staff member willing to help you if you need. I highly recommend World Gym Mount Gravatt.

Fantastic experience: World Gym Mount Gravatt is the BEST gym you will find! It deserves far more then 5 stars!! I’ve been going here for over a year now and travel 45+ mins to and from every day to get here because it feels like home and is by far superior to any gym closer to me. I love that the staff are always friendly and helpful but to top it off the owner Marco always has the time to get to know and greet the members so they feel welcomed and don’t just feel like another number. Finally a premium gym with a family feel exists! The group fitness manager Joss delivers the most engaging and fun classes and organises events throughout the year to help build a bond between members. People of all ages and fitness levels attend and feel like part of a team. I’ve made so many friendships from this gym and look forward to seeing and training together with them all each week ❤️ I also have two young children that I bring along with me to attend the crèche one who has attended since 8 weeks old. The careers are so good with my kids and look after them like they are their own doing everything they can to always make sure my children are settled, having fun and meet nap times etc which I’m sure all parents would agree is second to none! I could go on and on about all the things that make this gym the greatest gym, the atmosphere, easy parking, modern new equipment, competitive membership prices the list goes on… but you should give it a try yourself you won’t be disappointed!
