Fantastic experience: Love Mind Body & Soul. Both Rose and Brett are so attentive and professional. The vibe is so good here. Everyone in the classes is also so friendly, welcoming and down to earth.

Fantastic experience: In my late 50s, and having had a recent borderline low bone density test and generally being fed up of getting puffed walking up the slightest hill, I decided it was about time I took my fitness more seriously! I have always hated gyms and exercise in general, but knew I’d had to get over that attitude. I decided that some personal training would probably be the best way for me to get started, so Googled ‘personal training’ close to me. Mind Body & Soul came up and I knew the name as I drive past it almost every day. I remember when it opened, there were personal training studios opening up everywhere, but most of them had disappeared just as quickly. This one was still here 10+ years later, so I thought they must be doing something right. That has definitely been the case. I have now just completed 20 PT sessions with Brett over 10 weeks. (Yes! 20! No one is more surprised than me - except maybe my husband!) I feel so much fitter and stronger and my friends tell me I’m looking quite toned too! Brett started me off quite easily and gradually increased my workload, so that it was never beyond me - but did make me work. I never thought I was going to die (like I had in some previously tried PT sessions many years ago)!! I have also just started going to the group training classes and am thoroughly enjoying them (never though I would say that about gym sessions!!) Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. So, if like me, you know you should do something but can’t stand the thought of going to a gym - just try Mind Body & Soul. There’s no salesy spiel trying to get you sign your life away. Brett listens to what you want to achieve and will suggest what he thinks will be best. Just do it!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this gym for more than six years. This is unlike other gyms, in that the people who come here are normal, everyday people and not at the gym to 'be seen'. Brett does a great thing called 'Club 50' where you pay a certain amount every month and are entitled to come to any group session which is like having a personal training session - the groups are small and the trainer is always on hand to advise and help out. This means I can do 4 group sessions a week and it's not too expensive! I think there is a choice of 14 or 15 sessions a week, too, so it fits into all schedules. Once you have been coming for a while, the group sessions are like catching up with your little 'family' as you get to know the regulars. If you want to work out in a friendly and safe environment with some great people, you should try this place!
