Fantastic experience: The perfect gym for returning to sport post injury. Lewis has me moving better than I could have ever expected after two major knee operations. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Lewis for over 7 years and still loving it. If you are looking for a ripped, tattoo covered show pony, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a genuine, authentic honest, supportive personal trainer (or as I like to call him Fitness Consultant) that will help you achieve you goals and see you through the good and bad (snapped ACL recovery, arthritis pain, running injuries), then Athlete’s Hub is for you. The weekly fee is well worth the money to keep me moving and healthy. Love Lewis and what he has created. Highly recommend you giving him a go.
Fantastic experience: Whether it be recovering from injury or sport specific training I would honestly recommend this place before anywhere else. After a long period of time trying to fix and work around a shoulder injury I finally got surgery, Unfortunately after surgery I had complications ( frozen shoulder). I come to Athletes hub really just hoping for the best, and it has been the best decision I have made, I was told this complication could last for a long while but every week here I see improvements which I really didn't expect, The individualised program and the support and attention you get while training made me realise how good this place is. Lewis and Brooke are really approachable and just down to earth people in general. Plenty of qualifications between the two so you know you're in the right hands from the start. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to try to Athletes Hub after suffering some pretty significant injuries from football in a last ditch effort to continue playing and avoid surgery. In the 2 months I have been training at the Hub my constant hip/back pain has significantly reduced and my mobility has greatly increased. I am back to playing without any limitations from the injury and gradually gaining more and more ability to increase load on the injury. Its also really nice to be given plenty of knowledge around my injury so i know why i am doing the exercises and programs and actually seeing a progression

Fantastic experience: Lewis and Brooke have created something special here for Newcastle. If you’re an athlete looking for an individualised training program which will translate into real-life improvements and gains in your sport, but without the personal training price tag, then this is the gym for you. With backgrounds in exercise physiology and Olympic lifting, Lewis and Brooke really know their stuff. I have been training with Lewis for a while and not only have I improved my strength and power significantly, I have noticed my injury rate drop and felt my sport performance has increased due to these factors. This isn’t just a cookie cutter strength program either. Their programs utilise evidence based training and aren’t boring or super repetitive. They adapt your program where required to deal with injuries (like my badly broken finger). They provide super useful advice on improving technique during lifts. They also listen and focus on what your goals are and provide a program that is flexible and fits your life. Lewis and Brooke are super approachable people and all around general legends. I wouldn’t bother writing this huge review if I didn’t think they were worth every one of the 5 stars I have given this gym.
