Fantastic experience: Kids love it here

Negative experience: Disappointed by this gymnastics service. It’s quiet expensive in comparison to other local kids sports and it’s run by teenagers who are always too busy talking to each other than actually supervising young children. For the cost it needs to be run better by trained adults. I also feel like after a year and half there is no progression of my daughters skills.

Fantastic experience: i would like to thank Michelle and Kristie Lee for their loving care and support while I (the parent) was there with my daughter last week. They went beyond and above to help me. highly recommended for ki. your kids are in good hands. thank you ladies

Fantastic experience: Incredible place to learn gymnastics. I used to attend. The teaching style is amazing, safety is top priority and friendly + knowledgeable staff. I really appreciate the committee of volunteers and the volunteers that run the club in the background. ❤

Negative experience: Can't recommend for skill development - safety and supervision an issue. Having been involved with proper gymnastics training and competitions with my own children, I was very disappointed with the program at Birralee when I enrolled my grandson. It is not well structured or taught (except for one coach who my grandson was lucky to have sometimes) and, after 3 terms, his skill development was negligible. He was enrolled in a MAG group but, due to reasons I am unaware of, spent most of the last term working with the girls and just doing round robin activities. After a fall (that was lucky not to have resulted in a serious injury) while coaches were not giving proper instruction or supervision, I wrote to the gym and explained my concerns. The start of the next term showed that they had taken on board my feedback and things were more structured and supervised...for a while. It eventually returned to the same problems. As a former Men's Artistic Gymnastics judge, I do have more insight that the average parent which is why I write this review. I know what it expected in both training and safety and am sad to say that Birralee cannot provide that for your children. You would be better to take them to a play centre for an hour and let them have fun. It will be cheaper, and safer, in the long run.
