Fantastic experience: I’ve been there for a program it’s really nice there is nice people there they are kind

Negative experience: We were disappointed with how the front desk person treated our group. We are group of Filipino basketball enthusiasts and we always use the basketball court every Monday, but due to some miscommunication we were unable to book it this time. When we saw that the court was empty, we asked the front desk person if we could book it now since no one else was using it. However, the person seemed upset by our request. He then abruptly got up, went to the basketball court, turned off the lights and locked the door. His actions were highly unprofessional. Did he really think we were going to force our way in? Closing the facility in such a confrontational manner solved nothing and only made the situation worse.

Fantastic experience: Newish to the area. My son wanted to pop in and before we knew it he was taking part in a youth club playing games. So welcoming.

Negative experience: Gymnastics coach poked the backs of my knees with a skewer stick until they bled and weeped when I went there. Not sure if she still works there but she shouldn't be working with kids.

Positive experience: Very impressed with the results of many years hard work to regenerate the venue, light, bright and water tight !!! Well done to Sarah & Martin, we hope to be part of the PCYC Lake Macquarie team ongoing.

Fantastic experience: My son caught the last quarter of his excursion here after a school band committment and the kind man on the check-in desk waved us in & wouldn't charge us. Due to a tight schedule, I got to stay & see stuff! Son's class had a great time working in the kitchen, running the sausage sizzle and showing their barista skills - they were all pumped & super cheerful! The visiting police + car and firemen + engine were a huge hit. The firies were so welcoming, kind and happy to answer questions. The kids all had a turn of trying on the safety gear, seeing inside the truck and spraying the hose! They also enjoyed trying all the equipment in the gym. Lovely setting outside and the inside is a bit of a rabbit warren... which only makes it more interesting! Happy to visit again

Negative experience: On several occasions over the years, I tried to engage and support any and all organizations that helps their local community. But this Pcyc fails to live up to its promise. I personally been ostracised at this place. All they care about is about taking peoples money.

Fantastic experience: This is still a great place to go to. You can do so many different things there. Not just for the young but also the young at heart. And they have such great school holidays programs. None of there classes or programs cost to much. So you can do and go there as little or as much as you like.

Negative experience: The Star says it all!
