Negative experience: No subtitles on tvs, despite my request, no access to ABC or other intelligent life, music boring as hell, w no real variety/interest/melody--in other words muzak, no staff hours listed on website, must have phone to access, rather than card, etc.

Negative experience: Big fan of GoodLife, but this club has some issues that are ignored, despite notifications. Upkeep is especially poor. The locker rooms (at least the male LR) are especially neglected. Old, dusty locks that take up valuable space should be cut, dirty abandoned clothes and shoes thrown in some lockers that have been in there for ages, and one locker even being used as a personal Nutrition Warehouse. I pointed this out twice now, once an employee even came with me to see, and it still hasn’t been fixed. I feel that West Lakes, City, and Hindmarsh, as it stands, are much better options if convenient.

Fantastic experience: Good-sized gym with 24/7 access. Great classes. Equipment are in good condition. Management is receptive to feedback from members. Lots of parking at this site and surrounding streets.

Negative experience: Nice Staff but overall a money hungry company. I signed up for a month free trial and cancelled well before the month was up. Money was continuously being taken out of my account and i had called about 3 times and been told that it was a mistake and they will process a refund and get back to me(never got a single phone call). Another direct debit payment was removed weeks later so i decided to call and ask for the manager, turns out he was never informed that a refund was needed. I received an email confirming a refund which was for the wrong amount. so i replied to the email letting them know i am still owed an extra $20. I tried calling and they never got back to me so i decided to stop nagging. Very unprofessional, and an unexpected experience considering how friendly the staff are.

Negative experience: It isn't at all clear how to get in after business hours. Someone helped me to figure out I need to walk up a ramp on the side street, so I managed to get into the shopping complex. Then I saw people training upstairs so wandered around looking for a lift or stairs before I could even find the entrance. I get upstairs and I finally find an entrance, and my key card seems to work (light goes green) but the door won't open and it looks like this entrance is closed off. I then go all the way back to the entrance I came in from, go outside, and find a door at the top of the carpark. What an ordeal.

Negative experience: Absolute joke, I have never experienced more consecutive issues when joining a gym. How hard is it to connect a 24/7 access card or sign someone up to the membership they actually asked for? Never regretted joining a gym more than this one UPDATE- still annoyed about all the issues BUT when I went in tonight to address the latest problem, the person at the counter was super helpful, kind, and apologetic about the problems I've had.

Fantastic experience: Goodlife North Adelaide has been my favourite gym for quite some time. When I left the area 3 years ago, I briefly joined another gym which was a 1 minute walk from home, but decided to drive for 20 minutes to come here instead. Sarah G Group fitness classes are my favourite, (it’s a shame that her Thursday Body Pump class is now conducted by someone else). Clean premises, great equipment, friendly and polite staff who are always quick to assist.

Negative experience: I developed a medical condition that meant I am no longer able to use the gym - Good life north Adelaide Unfortunately Goodlife has staunchly opposed cancellation of my membership and asked for $300 cancellation fee while continuing to debit for the membership Looking at other reviews online of Goodlife this appears to be Goodlife’s usual approach of producing exploitative contracts and trying to leverage them over gym users ! I strongly recommend no one use Goodlife gyms given the risk of having a costly and lengthy process and possibly needing lawyers involvement to cancel your membership when this is required by any life circumstances.

Positive experience: Love the Zumba class Wednesday night, the instructor is just fabulous. Friday morning pump is so full and makes it very, very difficult to find a spot to do the class comfortably. Pity Hindmarsh gym removed morning classes as their space is so much more spacious.

Negative experience: If there was an option for zero star, will definitely give that. Poor service, will not recommend it to anyone. I went interstate for few months and did a freeze on the membership. They kept direct debiting money from my account. I found that I had overdue of 105 dollars. I ended up cancelling my membership for 195 when I did not even use their facilities. They basically want free money out of you. They have a lot hidden fees so please be aware. I was trying to get hold of the manager(Cuban) for weeks to sort out the issue and all I hear from the staff was he is in the meeting. Sometimes the staff will not answer my call for days and the overdue payments keeps going higher week by week. Thats how they try to make money out of you. For anyone planning to join, please don't join this gym as their manager and staff both need training. Will not highly recommend to anyone.

We do offer a membership portal where members can manage such requests online, eliminating the need to contact the club directly, which can be inconvenient, especially while traveling. If your membership freeze was successfully initiated and you received confirmation, there shouldn't have been any debits. We're more than willing to investigate and resolve this issue promptly. Regarding early membership cancellation, we do offer an early exit fee so members don't have to fulfill the remainder of their agreement. Fantastic experience: Love this place better than cross roads
Negative experience: Sarah G was very rude-the body balance instructor. Front staff is friendly. 1 star because it’s crowded, small, rude instructor and no mats. I’m struggling on my bike carrying my mat and then had to fix my card which wasn’t working at the front desk and then I went into the class. Sarah said I had to leave because they started already. Really poor customer service. I was very quiet upon entering and stay in the back and they weee just doing a standing stretch. It was unnecessarily harsh in front of the whole class to do that. I’m paying for this gym. Very disappointing to be treated that way. Things happen (in this case the gym’s fault because my card wasn’t working). Lock the door and put a sign if you don’t want anyone to come in after it has started. Don’t call anyone out like that ever again and don’t be rude. I was not harming anyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently spent a week in the city with a family member in hospital and went to Goodlife to break up my day’s. The staff were amazing, accomodating and set me up with a trial within minutes. The facilities and equipment were also first class. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Goodlife North Adelaide are the most helpful members I have found compared to other gyms I have attended. They greet you with a genuine smile and make you feel so welcome. They are on hand to show you how to use equipment safely. Josh who showed me around the gym made me feel very comfortable and excited to join Goodlife North Adelaide and is always available if I have questions. I was introduced to the manager who is so lovely and helpful, who makes you feel like you are part of the Goodlife family. I actually really look forward to going to the gym now I have joined Goodlife North Adelaide.
Fantastic experience: This gym has a great vibe and I've always received excellent service from the friendly staff. The manager (Kuben) is really good, getting involved when necessary to help resolve any issues and making sure everything runs smoothly. Would really recommend.

The Group Fitness classes have some good instructors/teachers and the timetable on the website is always updated accurately with the instructor's name eventhough someone else is filling for the regular instructor/teacher. Negative experience: I've been a member for about 18 months. There are two things I think are good, the fact that its reasonably quiet, and that the staff seem very friendly. Other than that, I've had only negative or neutral experiences. It's been my gym of choice soley for location, but due to price and equipment differences Im going to leave. I have directly contacted the club about issues, only to never receive a reply. Issues include, constant lack of avalible sanitising cloths (other than paper ones that disintegrate on the coarse bars), a lack of toilet paper (there was a consecutive week a couple months ago where the ladies bathroom had no toilet paper and only boxes of tissues), Constant struggles with the KuboFit app (took me 20 minutes today to even gain access to the gym, and noticed others struggling), No clear weight indicators on almost all cable machines, weights constantly left out (often for days on end). This gym is poor, and I've put off making a review but I really can't reccomend this place.
Positive experience: I have used a few goodlife gyms and North Adelaide is probably the nicest. The facilities are quite new and clean. It's an easy layout with the shopping centre providing free parking for a few hours. I'd love to see a little more organisation with the free weights, people are a little lazy putting things back and there aren't a full range of medicine balls that I can find in one spot. Otherwise - super happy this is my new local.

Positive experience: I recently surpassed the 12-month fixed contract period and was pleased that they didn't increase the price when I renewed. They also included a four-week free period which was a pleasant surprise. The manager Lui is a top bloke. Whilst not huge, the gym is well equipped with everything required to achieve most people's fitness goals.
Negative experience: I'll never support a business like this ever again. The girl who signed me up switched the contract we had agreed upon after we had specifically outlined what our requirements were. Immoral and disgusting. I had told her I needed a Monthly contract because I was moving interstate. She gave me an annual one, then when I questioned it the reply was "oh well, you must not have read it properly", "you need to pay to get out of this". So be sure to read the fine print carefully, even after a 15 minute conversation about what you need they will still attempt to sting you. Makes me feel sad that busines models like this still exist.

Negative experience: Worst gym to join don’t have enough equipment either . Was ripped off by not telling me the joining fees which was taken from my account . Bloody ripoff.
Negative experience: “ In between my workout, one of their staff member said to leave the gym because now no staff hours starts, this hurts”. I hope they understand.

Negative experience: Terrible gym! Very bad experience! No wifi! They charge for every little single thing. I suspended my membership for 6 months (I moved out from Adelaide) and when I asked cancel they charged me R$24 just to cancel, even though I wouldn't attend the gym. That’s not fair behaviour and I wouldn’t expect that a big chain as Goodlife would need to use this kind of procedure to get people’s money (charging for a not provided service).

Fantastic experience: I simply love this gym. Great space, group class and amount of equipment. Being a starter or a gym addict, you will like goodlife Health clubs.
Fantastic experience: Great level of service from Georgia and David, and a good mix of free and cable weights plus cardio. Super convenient location too. Private lockers and clean.
Fantastic experience: Clean and spacious design (lots of windows and mirrors)
Positive experience: Good gym with a range of classes and good gym equipment, can get busy around 5-7pm on week days
