PCYC Campbelltown: Opinions
Negative experience: My review is relating to PCYC oosh After school care at Redfern Redfern school at Minto. I recall getting an email advising the centre will permanently closed from 21 March 2025. I did a booking for my kids after school care on 19 March 2025. Booking confirmed via portal and also statement generated. School call us after 3.20 asking to pick up my kids as there is no after school. Pathetic service. Why accept my booking when you were closed? At least someone could have called me on the day to advise so I can pick up my kids after school.
Fantastic experience: It’s a great place to go for gymnastics
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love their gymnastics for my 3 and nearly 2 year old. The coaches are so welcoming and very accommodating to me with my two little ones in the class. Both kids love it and we love how much space there is for free play as well as structured activities.
Negative experience: I would not even give them any stars. Such disrespectful nd negligent people who keep your children and don’t even take responsibilities for them. Hired all the young staff who don’t even know how to handle kids. When you call them to complain then they just try to put the blame on you. Pathetic service.
Negative experience: They need air-conditioning during the hot seasons. It's a shame that parents have to watch their kids from the foyer or outside, it gets a bit crowded by the door/gate. I suggest having cameras in the gymnasium and have it connected to a TV screen for parents to watch their kids in the foyer. They have this at other facilities and clubs.
Fantastic experience: Police Citizens Youth Clubs... Indoor activities for school kids during vacation to keep them fit and away from Screen addiction
Positive experience: Gymnastics was taught very well but instructers are very strict and even made one of the students cry
Negative experience: Shameful gym. Seeing the coaches be belittled and forced out due to personal grievances is foul especially when done in front of gymnasts and families. Such a shame for the gymnasts and parents that create bonds with coaches and train with them only to be left with sub par / unqualified immature teenagers as “coaches”. Would rather my child learn from YouTube then send them here. Management prefer to bully / harass and degrade coaches so they leave. Human Resources do not lead by example. Only shove issues under the rug.
Hi Celeste, All our coaches are qualified with gymnastics Australia – whether it be a beginner qualification working towards an intermediate qualification or holding an advanced qualification. This is how all coaches learn – we all start somewhere and under the guidance of our advanced coaches our junior coaches learn to become great coaches. PCYC NSW is dedicated to helping train it's junior coaches through professional development days. The last one being held in Maitland on the 26th of May. Thanks
Fantastic experience: Great place for the youth of Campbelltown
Fantastic experience: Great gymnastics classes staff are friendly and always willing to help kids always have fun
Fantastic experience: I go to the gym there every Monday and Wednesday and I've gotta say for the price they offer it is a very good place to be if you want to get in shape I would go to PCYC's gym over the Anytime Fitness
