Fantastic experience: I've really enjoyed my coaching experience with Shannon! As a coach myself, I understand the huge advantage you have when you have a coach. The accountability and a fresh approach can really accelerate your goals and choosing Shannon to help with the next stage of my body re-comp was a great decision. I've made great progress in 8 weeks. 10cms off my waist and scale weight reduced from 72.9 to 66.1 - 6.9kgs. This included 6 weeks at a rapid fat loss deficit, a holiday week and a couple of weeks at a more moderate deficit. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Shannon. His simple yet pragmatic approach works so well that you just want to get on with the job. His relaxed easy going nature also made it way more enjoyable than the more inflexible experiences I've had. From the beginning, all the information I needed to get started was clear and organised and Shannon's resources were really helpful. I wasn't sure how I'd go with the rapid protocol weeks but to be honest with Shannon coaching me through, it felt like a breeze. Fantastic experience: I have done Shannon’s Lean in 6 challenge in the past and this really worked for me. I found his knowledge a huge help. I've tried all sorts of 'diets' however, his approach to weight loss was easy to follow. After some major life upsets I gained quite a few kilos and needed accountability. I signed up for Shannon's 1 to 1 and haven't looked back. Just knowing he is there keeps me accountable and his advice works for me. I am grateful for his support and his programme works. I'm losing weight and learning how to keep it off.
Fantastic experience: Shannon has been great for me, I was recovering from a knee injury and reached out to Shannon to help in recovery and build up muscles near the injury, as well help in weight loss. Following the guidance of Shannon as a PT my injury recovered well and was able to regain strength and build up relevant muscles which reduced pain from the injury. Also following the weight loss program I lost 12kgs in 12 weeks, throughout the process Shannon was great with guidance and general support, could not have asked for any more, would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who have tried many weight loss programs where they have not worked.

Negative experience: Trigger warning: B*limia Whilst Shannon is highly knowledgeable and has no doubt helped many people lose weight, I, unfortunately, regret investing considerable money into his service for four reasons: 1. I was accepted as a client despite disclosing my struggles with B*limia (which is binge eating alternating with calorie restriction/calorie p*rging), without a medical clearance or, at the very least, further enquiry about my eating disorder and whether embarking on a restrictive diet would be conducive to my health and ED, 2. I was provided very low calories to eat every day, despite already being within a healthy weight range and despite, as mentioned, actively struggling with B*limia, 3. Upon prematurely pulling out of his program to focus on my ED recovery, I was met with little to no compassion, even after raising my concerns about his service with him. A partial refund would've been really professional considering he shouldn't have accepted me as a client in the first place and considering how early I pulled out, but he was very quick to say goodbye. In my experience, he is kind and personable when you work one-on-one with him but rather dismissive if you challenge him on any level, and 4. I found Shannon via TikTok because I was actively searching for ways to eat 1,000-1,200 calories a day to lose weight rapidly, and these videos (he has posted countless videos with the same sentiment for a long time) are distributed to the public with little to no disclaimers or trigger warnings. According to the comment section on his videos, I am not the only person who disagrees with his repetitive promotion of potentially dangerous ways of eating to the general public, especially on a social media platform like TikTok where millions of young and impressionable people are susceptible to being negatively influenced and affected by such content. I personally will not ever invest in another weight loss coach or service for obvious reasons, but if you are seeking a weight loss coach in Australia, then please be aware that there are coaches, weight loss services and nutrition/fitness programs that promote healthier and more evidence-based approaches to diet and long-term weight maintenance, and that do not contribute anywhere near as much to the increasing rates of eating d*sorders or prevalence of yoyo dieting. EDIT [27.10.2023] -- response to Shannon as I am unsure how to comment back: * Shannon has blocked me on every social media platform so I unfortunately cannot retrieve our conversations and thus cannot prove that he indeed knew I was struggling with bulimia whilst working with me as a client * I want to emphasise that I did not make any meaningful "progress" with Shannon because I was actively binging and purging whilst working with him -- the suggestion that I made weekly progress is a wild exaggeration * I did not request any additional services from Shannon free of charge... WHAT? I exited the program early after having paid for a whole month! The our conversations ceased very shortly after. This is a blatant lie...? * Shannon's delayed response to my review was prompted by a TikTok I made yesterday which may gain some traction, so his 8-month late response is merely damage control Shannon, you could have just apologised from the beginning and offered a partial refund. You have spent so much energy defending yourself when you could just accept responsibility as a business owner. Your actions have been reprehensible and I hope my TikTok highlighting this case gains more views because people need to be aware of dangerous money hungry weight-loss coaches like yourself. You are part of a much bigger problem, and you will never see it this way, but I have faith that other people do (you are not that popular online already for a reason!) I sincerely hope that you do not put anybody else through this.

It's crucial to highlight that you did not experience an unhealthy amount of weight loss during our coaching program. My program maintains strict health and safety standards, and your measurements did not indicate any concerning drops during our collaboration. 3.Refund Policy: I offer a 30-day money-back guarantee to clients who do not achieve the expected fat loss results within the initial month of coaching. Our original coaching term was designed to span three months, allowing for regular program adjustments that support both fat loss and the establishment of a stable foundation. Throughout the initial six weeks of our coaching engagement, there were no indications of concerns regarding the program or the results. Our weekly video coaching calls consistently reflected your progress and how happy you with were everything. The decision to conclude the coaching term at six weeks was based on your commitment to prioritize your ED recovery, and it was a mutual agreement between us. However, it is essential to acknowledge the inherent challenge in maintaining a viable business model if clients can request refunds midway through their coaching journey. Subsequent to the conclusion of our coaching term, you sought further assistance without additional charges. Unfortunately, when I was unable to provide exclusive help, your communication escalated into confrontational exchanges, leading to the necessity of terminating further interaction. 4.Content Sharing: I share a breadth of content across various platforms related to weight loss, offering diverse perspectives, dietary advice, meal plans, and insights based on my personal journey of losing 50 kilograms. The brevity of social media content can make it challenging to address every unique situation comprehensively. It is vital for viewers to exercise discretion and determine whether the content aligns with their individual needs and goals. What may benefit one person could be detrimental to another. I acknowledge your concerns regarding the potential impact of such content, and I take them seriously. In retrospect, given the additional information you've shared and how you feel about our coaching relationship, I deeply regret accepting you as a client under these circumstances. My primary objective with every client is to provide a safe and professional service that promotes healthy fat loss. Despite the challenges, I believe this was the approach undertaken throughout our coaching engagement. We conducted weekly review videos that addressed the most pressing issues regarding your eating habits, providing valuable insights and adjustments tailored to your specific goals. I genuinely hope you can find the support and expertise that better aligns with your personal needs and objectives. I genuinely wish you the best in your pursuit of recovery and personal growth.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Shannon in person for nearly 2 years twice a week. In the first 9 months I dropped 13 kilos and since then have fluctuated a few kilos here and there but have kept the majority of it off as he keeps me constantly accountable with my calorie intake. Shannon is very knowledgeable in his area and helps me with injuries and nutrition advice. If you want Shannon to tell you what you want to hear, he is not for you, but if you want honesty and shed the kilos and cm's, you are in the right place. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I joined Shannon as a 1 to 1 client last year after completing a Lean in 6 program. It has been the best decision I have ever made!! I find Shannon offers an informative, helpful and sensible approach to weight loss. I have lost 18kgs in a year and I'm on the home stretch to lose the last 12kgs. Weight loss is hard and there are times I struggle and feel unmotivated but Shannon always provides support and advice no matter how good or bad a week I have had. The most impressive part of Shannons program (as I have tried other weight loss programs) is his constant and reliable weekly check in. If you're undecided on taking up the challenge to get rid of those excess kilos and change your life for healthiness and happiness, then Shannon won't disappoint! You will lose weight if you follow Shannon's program! It works!!!!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has tenure in both diet and exercise, I can sincerely say that Shannon is by far one the best coaches out there. It is clear this isn't just a job to him. He is as invested in your health as you are, and has the knowledge and experience to back it up. I have received help from Shannon over the years in various ways, whether it be casual online coaching to full on PT, or just checking in every now and then to talk about goals, performance, or something as simple as form check. He can be no frills and down the line, but has a diversified enough approach that he can be as intensive as you want him to be - all the whilst sticking to logical and achievable mantras on health, diet, and exercise. Most reviews are stellar, and those that aren't - I'd put my money on them being the issue. Shannon won't tell you what you want to hear. He will tell you what you need to hear (albeit with a smile and hug).

Fantastic experience: I joined Shannon’s online 6 week challenge. I found his support and knowledge a huge help. He had a simple approach to weight loss and was easy to follow. Shannon always made time to answer any questions, concerns and gave me so much encouragement. Even when I had days that I struggled. The Facebook group he had was great too as others would share their experiences and we all kept each other motivated.
