He takes the time to understand your individual goals and tailors instructions to help you achieve them. The atmosphere at the gym is welcoming and supportive, which is a huge plus. The members are friendly and encouraging, creating a sense of community that makes every session enjoyable. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced boxer, you'll find a place here. The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained equipment and a clean, spacious workout area. The gym also offers a variety of classes and training sessions that cater to all levels, ensuring that you always have the opportunity to learn and grow. If you're looking for a place to train, improve your skills, and be part of a great community, Matrix Gym is the place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in boxing or just looking to get in shape in a fun and engaging environment.

Fantastic experience: I attend the cardio classes at this gym and find them great for people of all fitness levels and ages. It is a friendly relaxed atmosphere where fitness and wellbeing find priority over pose. The owner/trainer Garry is able to tailor the training to suit your ability and results soon follow. Their casual rates make it easy for me to enjoy classes based around my busy schedule. This gym is Coburg's best kept secret. 5 Stars.

Fantastic experience: Matrix Fitness is a great place to train, for both karate and cardio classes. I have 3 children doing karate and training with Sensei Garry and the growth in them over the years has been amazing. Matrix has a strong sense of community, family, discipline and respect and as a parent I couldn’t ask for anything more. I highly recommend Matrix to anyone thinking of starting martial arts. Garry's cardio classes are fantastic as well. Lots of fun and my fitness and strength have improved heaps over the years. Great results and great atmosphere. Thanks Garry.

Fantastic experience: Just had another PT session with Gary, which is making a huge difference to my cardio classes Gary has a way of personalising his approach to suite my needs. I have come a long way and look forward to improving with time. FYI , since I started by heart rate has dropped from 90 to 60 and I’m finally trying to eat better Thanks for everything Gary.

Fantastic experience: My 10yo daughter had low self confidence after being bullied at school, I had heard great things about matrix fitness so I put her in for some tryout classes. Over the 3 months she has been training here I’ve seen her grow as a person, she come out of her shell and is more confident. She is also super proud of her self heading into her first grading. The staff and volunteers are absolutely brilliant, classes are encouraging and rooted in life experience and lessons. I can’t recommend this particular karate academy enough. Sensei Gary is truely amazing.
