iGym 24/7 Taree

Fantastic experience: Great gym to work out. Haven't been to a gym since covid. I've been home training, but this place has all you need. Very clean and lots to choose from. Staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Just signed up to Taree Igym, Ashley was amazing!! So friendly, helpful, excited for me to start a great routine, inspiring and I am keen to start this adventure with Ashley heading the healm!!! Will get my husband and 2 kids to sign up. Thanks Ashley, you are such an asset to Igym!!

Negative experience: Don't really care to much about their customers, I have immune issues and get sick easily from the cold, I told them this and they had witnessed it, they locked their back roller door as soon as winter came ( evil) which lets the sun in and refused to open , I asked them many times over weeks. Also watch out for their free wifi , no signal in there so I went to join it , it asked for my Facebook password and user name, no other free wifi does this... Full of Military types After I left I got refused a membership at factory gym saying I had been trouble and also that my Facebook posts were inappropriate and I had caused trouble in other gyms which was not true. Neither Bunnings, McDonald's, Telstra, Hungry Jacks etc etc asked you to give up you Facebook password and username to access free wifi, it's a hack. Very bodgy corrupt town Funny how they damn Chinas but act in the same way.. Control, no such things as democracy, you find communism in the military and they work outside the law in a so called democracy

Fantastic experience: The best gym in my opinion! Walk through the front door and are greated by the most amazing staff member Ashley " the face of igym taree" such perfect way to make you feel comfortable and she genuinely cares about how your day is and how you are going. And the trainers are amazing I see tahlia for pt and is a absolute wealth of knowledge and understanding that life is busy and she keeps me motivated and determined to keep coming to the gym. member since the door opened all those year ago

Negative experience: I left igym because of the cheap Chinese equipment. I have never used worse. Poor design and doesn't properly target the muscle group it's supposed to. There is a new gym in old bar. All the equipment is lifefitness and hammer strength. The best in the world. Body strength health and fitness

Fantastic experience: Had a casual visit while passing, though. The staff are very pleasant. The gym has everything you require to increase muscle size.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in the mid north coast, the staff are all so lovely, the manager made me feel so welcome and the community spirit is great here. I’ve made friends here and look forward to my training days. The gym is always clean and I just really like it here.

Fantastic experience: IGym Taree is the most amazing gym I have been to!!! Ashley is a fantastic manager, so kind, welcoming and encouraging! The atmosphere is above all the rest with friendly ready to help PTs, heaps of free classes for memebers and a great gated play area for kids! You will never have a bad day at the gym here with heaps of equipment and super friendly gym members and staff !!! I come almost everyday and always leave feeling great and ready to face my day!!! Positive experience: Staff here are friendly, layout of equipment is really good in my opinion/tastes. Very spacious, plenty of car parks available and 24/7 is awesome with aircon and a playground for anyone with kids. I would give 5 stars, will update in future if so, only 1 of the 2 stair masters are connected up and running/working. I go to the gym with my wife occasionally and being able to do the Stair Master together at same time would be awesome, less chance of coming in and missing out if someone is on it as well. only reason I gave 4 out of 5 due to the one not available Stair Master. would do 4.5 if possible.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this gym. I was told when I signed up that I could take my pram on the gym floor during quiet times only to be told after nine months of doing this that I can’t do it any more and that I should leave. The ‘CEO’ is obnoxious and is creating a toxic gym culture. Equipment is always broken and half of the cardio machines don’t work. Other gyms in the area allow prams on the floor.

Positive experience: I have been a member since igym it opened and generally enjoy it, trainer Joel is great and knowledgeable and staff in general very friendly and helpful. Of late things have been very hit and miss. Favorite classes cancelled, core and stretch for instant is very popular with all ages but now reduced to 1 class per week. Another favorite of many, box fit cancelled. People are becoming disillusioned. I hope that management can get their act together and listen a bit more. What works in Newcastle does not necessarily work in Taree.

Positive experience: It was a nice and spacious gym and their staff were helpful. The 24/7 facility works well for me. Their fob can be a bit of hit and miss in the first instance but it worked the second time after I waited for 10 seconds. The gym is well equipped but the machines might need a bit of upgrade. Overall, above average and great gym for the standard of Taree.

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience trying to terminate my membership with iGym. At the time of cancellation I was not informed by the staff I spoke to that I would have to continue to pay the membership for the next month as a ‘cancellation fee’. So when money was continually being debited from my account I rang the gym as I had moved away from the area and after multiple phone calls finally was told that I would be charged for the next month, and was informed by accounts that my last debit date was March 10 (a month after I cancelled). Fast forward to March 10, I pay my final payment and think that this is finally all over. WRONG. March 17 and I have once again had money taken from my account. Currently attempting to correspond with accounts over email, but who even knows if I’ll get a response as the number they originally gave me for accounts turned out to be a wrong number. Very frustrating and expensive for a uni student who no longer lives in the area and doesn’t access the facilities. I hope you’ve done something worthwhile with my grocery money. If I ever move back home I will definitely be going to another gym.

Fantastic experience: I usually use this gym when visiting my in-laws in Old Bar. It is spacious, clean, has lots of good machines, and the staff has always been friendly.

Negative experience: Dirty, rude, outdated... don't recommend.. I recommend anytime fitness... ,staff are nicer, gear is newer, feels cleaner ... better locations too..

Negative experience: This gym is large and has a long felt runway area which is good for farmers walks etc. Some good machines however the layout of the squat racks could definitely be improved. The gym also needs to keep their weight plates in better condition as a fair number are missing the metal ring in the middle and you will have to go wandering for plates. The staff members are mostly good besides one who comes off as rude. This gym has its upsides but you could do better in Taree. Edit: due to nonsense moneygrabbing cancellation policies you will be paying for membership an extra month after terminating your membership, even if you cancel before your contract is over.

Fantastic experience: Great sign up process, great prices and excellent staff and patrons. The gym itself has a wide variety of equipment to cover most if not all bases, along with services and classes. There are PTs available to help if you need. All in all, i don't regret signing up

Fantastic experience: I have been going to igym Taree with my wife and children for 9 weeks now we have enjoyed the great classes and jioned the 8weeks challenge. In this time my wife has lost 6kg of body fat gained 2kg muscle .gone from body scan score of 84 to an awsome 90 and i have lost 13.8 kg of body fat and gained 2kg of muscle body scan went from 70 to 84. The children are all jioning in getting fit too.They are so proud of us. JUST DO IT Do your family a favor and get fit. Its never to late. You can change their lives with your example.
