QuickFit Health Club - Montmorency

Negative experience: Subject: Disrespectful Treatment and Poor Customer Service I was previously a member of this gym but canceled my membership and joined Watermac for access to a swimming pool. After some time, I decided to return to Mony Gym and tried calling several times, but no one answered. Eventually, I went in person and used the gym for one session. I later explained to the staff that I would officially return in a month due to the one-month notice period required at Watermac. Despite this, they charged me again. When I went to discuss the issue and ask for the money to be held or refunded, the owner treated me very rudely and disrespectfully — and did so in front of other people at the gym. He accused me of trying to sneak in, which is completely unfair. If I had intended to sneak in, I would have come multiple times, not just once. More importantly, I witnessed and personally experienced extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, especially toward women. This kind of conduct is unacceptable in any environment, let alone a place of health and community like a gym. Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or welcome at this gym, and I would not recommend it to others.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym. The management and staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable and take an interest in your progress no matter what fitness level you are at. The sense of community is second to none - you’ll always find a friendly face to chat with whilst going through your workout. Equipment, cleanliness and provisions are top notch as well as the motivating playlist of tunes. 10/10

Fantastic experience: The new owner Liam is very friendly, welcoming and you are always greeted with a big smile. He has made settling back in after many months of lockdown a breeze. The gym is always very clean and tidy and the rest of the trainers are wonderful not to mention its is very affordable and 24 hour. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Facilities are small but are well maintained. The staff that work there are generally very friendly too. So as far as that goes its better than 2 stars. 2 star review comes from the hoops you have to jump through to cancel and the easy to miss additional fees. Just be careful with these guys. Thoroughly read terms and conditions. 14 day cancellation period,(would be okay if they were easier to communicate with) the 24/7 key tag you pay for is non-refundable and you are made to keep it regardless of leaving. Their phone line often rings out even during business hours too. They also stung me with additional charges post cancellation (or as they put it 'on hold').

Fantastic experience: Despite the smaller size of the gym, there is still plenty of equipment to use. Friendly staff and not usually too many people so you can use what machines you want generally.

Fantastic experience: Boutique family gym complete with a children's playroom. Very compact with a large range of equipment to use for a complete workout. The trainers are friendly and personable, and happy to help those who need extra motivation. The monthly fee is very reasonable and there are deals for multiple family members.

Fantastic experience: No doubt the BEST gym in our area. 24/7 access, very clean and great aircon and fans to keep you cool. State of the art gym equipment and machines, and also a kids room that your kids can safely play in for free!!! The staff/personal trainers are brilliant, they all have so much knowledge and they are so good at making a plan for you to achieve the results you are after, and also giving you confidence in how to use the gym and also the correct techniques. I absolutely love going to Quickfit in Monty, its all such great value for money as their membership prices are so affordable.
