Anytime Fitness Currumbin

Fantastic experience: On holiday up from Melbourne and it’s nice to be able to drop in to AF with my membership. Well appointed gym, but much busier than I’m used to at home. Admittedly, going at 5:30pm is a busy time. The gym would benefit from a few more wet wipe stations. I only saw one and it was empty. Great equipment and enough to cater for a busy gym without much waiting.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Currumbin is my destination of choice in my fitness journey. One of the highlights is that it caters for all levels of experience and age groups. I would say it is a very inclusive training space. The gym staff are super helpful and friendly and always greet you on arrival with smiles and a quick chat. My PT Ricardo is amazingly knowledgeable and trains correct form consistently. The gym’s ethos is to support everyone in their personal goals and has such a huge array of equipment to suit everyone’s goals, plus lots of energising options in the training studio. I’m very happy that Anytime is in my neighbourhood!

Fantastic experience: One of the best equipped AF gyms in Queensland. They have a lot of equipment that many other AF gyms don't have. This is quite a clean gym too with plenty of sanitiser stations and hand sanitizer on the front desk.

Negative experience: Pay for gym membership Doesn’t let us use 1/3 of the equipment. Music 4 times louder then any noise in the gym even tho everyone is wearing headphones. Initially left a good review but these things become more obvious over time. Despite paying for a membership and unsubscribing everyday still get texts daily for deals.

Negative experience: Trying to cancel my account and no one is responding to my emails and still getting charged. Not great!

Fantastic experience: Very nice and well equipped Gym. Very busy gym on a morning. Any reason why the body scan is not connected or off line? It's over 2 weeks by now.

Fantastic experience: New gym (1 year old) which is spacious, clean, and has a massive amount of gym equipment and a fitness studio with classes. The staff are amazing, attentive to your fitness needs, and super friendly. Great all round gym which I would recommend to anyone looking for a big, spacious, clean and friendly gym with all the equipment you need to achieve your fitness goals.

Negative experience: This place is a joke..harry told me when I signed up that it was 2 weeks notice for cancellation of membership..I’ve just gone in to cancel it and he’s telling me 30days cancellation…this place has been nothing but a joke..the cleanliness is pathetic for how new the building is…the members let anyone come and go as they please…the amount of members that don’t wear shoes into the gym is outrageous..and the discrimination I endured from this establishment is beyond comprehension. I wouldn’t waste my money at this gym..they’re a money hungry organisation that doesn’t seek to benefit their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anybody looking to get fit..it’s a rip off and a waste of money

Fantastic experience: Been coming to Anytime Fitness Gym @ Currumbin since it open back in July 2023. Finally there is a fabulous gym on the Very South end of the Gold Coast that offers everything from exercise down to fitness with the latest gym and cardio equipment for all you needs. The staff Mel, Harry and Taylah are great and always willing to help out wth anything you need and offer good advice if you need help wth the equipment. If you are looking for a personal trainer to help you get fit and looking to get in shape and blend in on the coast, I recommend Ricardo to be of great assistance to make this happen. Give it a shot you got nothing to lose to get your health and fitness on track now and for the rest of your life ahead..

Negative experience: Do not recommend at all!! Terrible service of staffs, have been tried to cancel for weeks and they are making it very difficult! Don’t sign up in this joke.

Negative experience: Pretty grubby.. machines are always dirty. Two places to get wipes in whole gym. People not using towels. You never see people wiping machines after use. Sorry I joined and there is no option to cancel your membership even though owners of this place aren’t good at cleaning they are good at taking your money.. I carnt wait till my contract expires..

Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough positive things about the staff here. They use so much of their energy on making everyone feel so welcomed, supported, educated and looked after and it doesn’t go unappreciated (especially given it would be exhausting at times to be this way with all the many regulars). Harry, Mel, Tayla and Riccardo, thanks for making this my favorite gym to train at. You guys rock. The equipment and space in the gym is also great. Best hip thruster machine I’ve used lately too!

Fantastic experience: I bought a week’s worth of visits whilst up here on holiday - one of the best gym experiences I’ve had, ever. Wonderful staff, beautiful gym, great equipment and very clean. One of the trainers even tapped me on the shoulder after I’d done some deadlifts to ask me how I was feeling ❤️. That quickly turned into a 1hr technique session (at my request) the following morning. Riccardo was fantastic - he shared a whole host of little twists and turns you can’t possibly learn without being taught by an expert. I’ve had a really great experience there. Well done guys.

Fantastic experience: We joined the gym a few days ago after a long time without training. We met a really friendly coach called Richard who helped us to set up a very dynamic and fun functional training. A great professional, can't wait to train again!

Negative experience: Prior to this gym opening, I considered joining and signed up to their mailing list with a promise of receiving a huge early bird sale and promotion. After waiting months, I finally received a call and they offered what I can only say was an exorbitant fee, particularly in comparison to other local gyms and with a supposed ‘discount’. After telling them I’m not interested, they continued to call and harass me, I’ve blocked two of their phone numbers and still receive the occasional call every so often. Plenty of other better options in the area. Edit: No Anytime Fitness Currumbin, in response to your follow up, this isn’t a fake review, nice try.

Fantastic experience: I have joined a few fitness clubs in the past and the problems I found in all of them were the old equipment and the average service. I joined Anytime Fitness Currumbin 4 weeks ago and it's amazing, there is plenty of new equipment there is always staff that can help with anything and the Pt's at least the one I got its really good his name is Ricardo Barcelo very knowledgeable trainer! The good thing is that they set all your workouts in an app with videos so if you are in doubt you can review them any time and yeah all the videos are from the same trainer in my case Ricardo and in the same gym so you know exactly what machine and what workout to do. And yes the results arrived in the second week so very happy with everything. Thanks Ricardo and thanks to all the staff in Anytime Fitness Currumbin !

Negative experience: Tried to sign up, asked for pricing and never got a straight answer then told me i have to come into the club to find out, asked to be removed multiple times from all messages emails and phone calls and have not been. getting harassed everyday to sign up

Negative experience: Cancelled during cooling off period after multiple delays with the building (before the gym had even opened) , cancellation confirmed, months later I receive threatening messages from ecollect debt collection chasing “overdue” payments Disgusting. Don’t join this gym. I’ve never even been inside - scammers. Tried calling the gym and debt collectors - Neither have answered.

Fantastic experience: Big gym, clean gym, many machine. Many car parks. Good!!

Fantastic experience: I linked up with Josh at AF for a training and nutrition plan. I highly recommend Josh for both of the above, he is knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. He listens to his clients, takes all concerns on board and adjusts the plans to suit the individual, he has always been happy to modify and fine tune both the training and the nutrition. I found he pushed me just enough to see the results I'm after but was never forceful, just a great balance in general.

Positive experience: As a gym roukie it was great to meet such welcoming staff whom have made the transition to gym workouts achievable. The space is very clean and there’s plenty of equipment and the option of classes is great. Personal training sessions with Ricardo Barcelo have been amazing and really has helped me to feel comfortable in a gym environment. Ricardo is very experienced and knowledgeable and he makes the workouts feel fun and enjoyable! Thanks so much Ricardo and all the staff at anytime!

Fantastic experience: Love this new gym! They have hand showers and provide shampoo, conditioner and soap which smells amazing. Every single machine I could think off was there and quite a lot of squat racks. Loved the massage chairs provided too! One thing to add would be some kind of mop for the showers so that you can clean up the excess water on the floor. Couldn’t see if they had one but I think a suggestion box for the gym would be really great, something I know I would’ve appreciated at other gyms too.

Negative experience: Constantly pushing opening date and horrible customer service before they even open … of to a brilliant start
