Fantastic experience: I do not normally write reviews but I feel so strongly about MVP. I have been to many physiotherapist as my son has complex issues. I have been with MVP now for almost 2 years. I will not go anywhere else. My son loves his therapist. It has now become a family affair as we all come and see various therapists but feel I have to mention Andre and Minet as they are amazing and passionate. MVP are professional, friendly, caring and thorough from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend them to anybody.

Negative experience: I have been to lot of physios but this was absolutely the worst experience in my life. 1. 45 minute session started 10mins late - but finished on time. 2. Clinician spent a lot or time looking at computer typing rather than focusing on patient. 3. Price went up by $25. Price quoted over the phone was $125 but at checkout I was charged unquoted extra “first visit assessment fee”. So, i got less time than booked and had to pay extra. Extremely unhappy.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you felt you didn’t have a great experience at MVP. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and exceptional quality allied health care as evidenced by all the 5 star reviews we have received. Addressing your specific points: 1) Our standard initial appointment is 40minutes. You were taken in to your appointment 2 minutes after the scheduled time and were seen for the full 40 minutes allocated for initial consultation. 2) It is a medico-legal requirement physiotherapists take clinical notes and these notes need to be comprehensive for if and when they are needed to be reviewed by a colleague, or if they are needed as evidence in any potential legal process. Initial assessments are predominantly assessment as the physiotherapist needs to work out what the problem is, differential diagnoses, the various contributing factors and to formulate a treatment plan. We note in your session you also received treatment above and beyond the comprehensive assessment performed, as well as a home exercise program. 3) We have different prices for initial and review appointments as they are different in length of time, 40 minutes and 30 minutes respectively. The initial assessment has a lot involved due to the comprehensive interview and physical testing components, the clinical note taking requirement, and we always aim to provide some treatment as well. That is why it is longer than the review session. As such it costs more. Our administration team provide information on pricing to all new patients. For our senior physiotherapists, due to their experience and expertise, the initial appointment is $150, the review $125. This information is provided to every person who calls or comes in to book an initial appointment. The $125 is the review price. You were charged the initial assessment price. We tried to reach out to you directly to discuss yesterday and did not hear back from you. We would be happy to discuss any issues with you. We understand misperception can lead to dissatisfaction. However, after thorough review of this complaint we note you received appropriate management for the appropriate time and you were seen by one of our senior staff who consistently receives excellent feedback from patients.

Welcoming friendly reception staff,very helpful and accommodating when I had to change some appointment times. The physiotherapist Steve was very professional and easy to talk to, he devised a comprehensive exercise programme for my rehab of a torn meniscus and took time to explain any issues I had with the program. Fantastic experience: Thailah is really first class , she has eased my pain in my hip stopped me limping and freed up a lot of tension . Very strong hands and knows exactly where to pin point the source of pain . Very impressive , she is my new physio of choice .
