Negative experience: Pretty poor service

Positive experience: I quite like this gym. Good people, large space, friendly atmosphere, no attitudes or egos. I just wish they'd put a little more effort into cleaning and maintenance.

Fantastic experience: I am a tourist who visited Rockhampton Fitness Center. The gym is staffed during the hours of 5:30am-7:30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-1pm on Saturday. Fantastic gym, with a $15 AUD day pass that grants access to an old-school but well equipped and maintained gym. No shortage of machines or weights, and exceedingly warm and friendly staff. Card and cash is accepted, lockers and water cooler available for free and supplements are sold here.

Fantastic experience: Norm- an absolute legend, couldn't be more helpful. Fitness Passport stuff is super easy, no extra costs for swipe cards or fobs on top of Fitness Passport cost. No money grabs, just genuine people wanting to provide a product.

Fantastic experience: As many others have noted, this is an old-school gym and has absolutely everything you need plus more. I was in town for just one week but was stoked they allowed casual visits for just $15. Travelled all over and this is quite possibly the best gym I've ever visited. Would join in a heartbeat if I lived in Rockhampton!

Positive experience: Old school gym, Ronnie Coleman Old school! Explained I was on holiday travelling the coast and they let me train for free. I was willing to pay the $15 casual fee but they wouldn't take it. Top blokes.

Fantastic experience: Rfc is a huge old school gym, run by a really nice bloke. Upstairs for bodybuilding, downstairs for powerlifting. I travel the country for work and have been in 100 gyms and this place is up there with the best.

Fantastic experience: best gym in rockhampton. fantastic down stairs free weight, olympic lifting, and crossfit (if you enjoy that side of things). the staff are nice and not intrusive. and norm is a champ. can't recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Probably one of the best gyms I’ve been to! It’s really huge and you can find literally everything you need. Even though I went at a peak time, it was pretty empty. The staff was excellent - really friendly and helpful! Everyone has to take a cleaning cloth and a little spray bottle and clean before and after use of all equipment - there’s really no excuse not to clean after yourself. Plus there’s even a heated pool and all cross fit equipment!! Huge high 5!!

Fantastic experience: Good equipment and nice size. Could use a bit more space around the power rack and squat rack and unfortunately no deadlift jacks but other than that no complaints.

Negative experience: Not the best experience. Gym doesn't have cleaning products to wipe equipment no paper towel or wet wipes. Asked staff about this and was told to use my towel. I was recently at the gym and found that only 1 out of approx 8 tredmills were working properly (no incline) I approached staff to let them know and they were exceptionally rude. I find myself not wanting to go back to this place terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: Such a beautiful old building. Was surprised to see a variety of equipment. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Love this place
