Fantastic experience: A benchmark in Veterans Healthcare in the Illawarra

Fantastic experience: No surprise that every single review here is a 5. I am absolutely not a gym person. I've been twice in 30 years and lasted 7 minutes each time. This place is different. Clean, comfortable, person-centred, ambient, new equipment, great staff, parking, tailored programs that are doable even if you're super unfit to begin with, and a fantastic manager who clearly walks the talk. I've been telling everyone about it. Do yourself a favour. They've also got a cafe, allied health practitioners and classes that I'm sure will be just as impressive.

Fantastic experience: Inspired by the chance to improve my terrible golf handicap, I signed up to a golf program to improve my flexibility and swing. Not only did the program help so much the golf swing, I’m feeling so much better in my general fitness, balance and stamina. A life time spent avoiding the gym and approaching 60, this may prove to be one of my better decisions. Staff are really friendly, gym has a great setup and Gateway offers many other services through physio and dietician to tailor a program that suits. Now if I could only fix the multitude of other things hindering my golf

Fantastic experience: Though I'm not a member of the gym, I love that I still have access to the infrared sauna. The staff are always friendly. Special mention to Charlie who is always helpful!

Fantastic experience: I use to hate gyms, but I really love this one and feel so much stronger. They have new equipment and fun small classes. It’s a great boutique gym!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have been a member of in all my years of going to gyms which is many. The staff are friendly and helpful, the premises are clean and the equipment is first rate. I love attending the classes and the trainers are very helpful and supportive. They will even create a program for you to train on your own. This is a great gym for all ages but particularly if you are a “little bit older” as I am. Having the allied health team on hand is a great idea and i have used the dietitian Carla who has suggested some improvements to my diet as it was lacking in some areas. The infrared sauna is great too, I can highly recommend this gym. Five stars from me.

Fantastic experience: Gateway Life gym is a bright, open space with friendly, professional and helpful staff. As an older woman who hasn’t been to a gym in ages, I immediately felt welcome and encouraged to keep on going. I started with the 8 week trial membership, and am now a full member. The standard membership rate is very reasonable, and includes classes. The cafe is also a bright and cheerful space. I would recommend the gym for people of all ages and abilities.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Gateway Life. From several perspectives, the team have greatly supported my disabled brother in-law who has significant mobility and balance issues resulting in many falls and decreased independence. The assessment process and subsequent therapy has been excellent with many positive results for his quality of life. Secondly as a recently retired 60 plus year old I have also joined Gateway life to improve my fitness and health. The facility, equipment & staff are excellent.
