Fantastic experience: Our daughter Lillian was really struggling with her confidence and sense of belonging at at school, that completely changed when she joined the team at SJJA. She has made some great supportive friends here and her confidence has increased 100%. It is an amazing activity for children mentally, physically and emotionally. I cannot rate it highly enough. To top it off, Ash and Ryan at SJJA are incredible coaches. They truly care about the children and are great mentors. Highly recommend SJJA to any kids looking for a healthy after school activity.

Fantastic experience: This is definitely one of the best bjj gyms in Hornsby. Ryan and Ash are excellent instructors for all levels but especially kids. They really break everything down and make it fun and easy for little ones to learn. Great place to train.

Fantastic experience: Both Ryan and Ash putting a lot of effort making sure kids to learn new skills each class. So happy with them took over as new owners of SJJA Hornsby in the recent months. They revolutionised the way of teaching here. With the new facility in Hunter lane with designated car park, they also added small gym to be used by parents. Well-done guys. All the best...

Fantastic experience: Highly recommanded. Professor Ryan is very patient and great with kids. He makes the training practical and fun, so the little kids can concentrate during the whole session. Even when the class is relatively quiet during school holidays. He delivers the class with 100% effort. We are so impressed. p.s. My son thinks Professor Ash look like a lion ( /lol), which is somehow a good thing, it helps with the kids' discipline... :D

Fantastic experience: Since Ryan and Ash taken over. All the kids love his teaching. He is very kind to kids and active their potentials. We changed back from once a week to unlimited attend. My daughter learnt more skill and advanced techniques in last one month then last half year. She loves so much and asked to come everyday. We absolutely recommend SJJA Hornsby branch to all our friends and you will love it if you let your kids try one class. My daughter is not just learnt the Jujitsu skill, but more importantly learned discipline, respect and resilience. Never give up and getting better each day.

Fantastic experience: Professor Raphael is a fantastic Jujitsu coach and his worldly jujitsu experiance and qualifications are second to none in the Hornsby area. Whilst there are a few Jujitsu offerings in the Hornsby area I highly recommend this one to be put on top of your trial list.

Fantastic experience: Professor Raphael is very experienced and understanding with children. My girl really enjoyed the class. It has become her most desired session after school.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has been training with the SJJA team for just over two years. She started at Hornsby the very first day it opened and has been going regularly a few times a week ever since. She looks forward to it which is amazing as other after school classes she has lost interest in. Her confidence has grown and the added discipline in all areas at the centre is just right and possibly what is missing in other activities and establishments. Also as a parent of two young girls it gives me peace of mind that they are being taught to be respectful, not to engage in violence, to find a way out of problems and to use their training as a last resort to defend themselves. I can’t recommend Master Rodrigo and the SJJA team enough and suggest if you have children to go check it out and even go for a trial lesson. Even my youngest daughter is keen to go and train but is still too young. Thanks
