Fantastic experience: I stopped in to Garage Jiu-jitsu for training while I was travelling for work. I was immediately welcomed by the team and felt very comfortable in their gym. There is a great vibe and excellent training comradery. Nick, the instructor, gave detailed technical explanations and was super helpful. I highly recommend training here.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at GJJ for a little over a year and can't rate them enough. The gym and its members foster a friendly, safe, and inclusive environment and love to have a laugh. Ego's are in check here, and the gym is very welcoming to new-comers. The instructors are fantastic, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about your progress as a grappler. Plenty of sessions are offered so it's easy to plan your life around and still get some solid mat time through the week. Give it a try!

Fantastic experience: Great space, I love a gym with a sprung floor and squat rack. I dropped in for an open mat, and had great rounds. No one trying to kill me, just solid technique, a good pace and heaps of fun. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area and have any interest in Jiu Jitsu.

Always having fun activities with the team like BBQ's and nights out. very high level coaching, an awesome team culture and the most welcoming gym I've ever been in. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to train jiujitsu for competitions or just for fun and fitness.

Fantastic experience: A refined gym, because the desired architectural design of the of the gym was too complex for some of the owners. The people there are great too! Most of them are incapable to express valid OR accurate insults, hence their friendly, NPC-like attitude to newcomers and long time members.

Fantastic experience: Great gym in the area! Great teaching on techniques and drilling. Very welcoming with an awesome culture. Mat quality is really good. Very spacious. Does gi and no gi jiu jitsu. Schedule is very accommodating as they have many classes throughout the week. If you’re from the area and you’re looking to either get into jiu jitsu or up your game you should definitely check them out. Nick the owner and coach is very technical and works with every level.

Fantastic experience: The team here at Garage Tuggerah are incredibly welcoming and friendly! All of the coaches are passionate about JiuJitsu and genuinely care about the development and progression of all their students (regardless of skills or experience). Each coach is able to modify their teaching style and approach to match the needs of the student, which has been helpful when learning technical skills with multiple steps. From day one, I have felt completely safe and supported to try new techniques and push myself out of my comfort zone. Garage Tuggerah also puts on social events for their members, such as a monthly fitness challenge and the occasional BBQ, which helps to create a strong sense of community within the gym. Gym culture aside, the gym itself is spacious and hygienic, with a growing timetable of classes that can easily fit into a busy schedule. The gym also has weight training equipment and an ice bath to round out training and recovery needs. All round a brilliant gym with amazing people :)

Fantastic experience: Supportive and fun environment with a lot of knowledge and great classes. Coaches are great and the gym is like a big family who supports and looks after each other on the mats. Saturday open mats are a big plus with lots of faces from gyms all around, lifting equipment, ice bath, Planned BBQs and music. Something for everyone to enjoy. OSS

Fantastic experience: Instructor is top notch. Technique and learnings are great, kid friendly. I Highly recommend for kids as body awareness will do them wonders. They learn how to roll, land, use their bodies in movement. You won’t see it straight away but they will begin to excel or at least be competitive in other sports and life from going to Jiu Jitsu.
