Fantastic experience: We had a very relaxing spa treatment. The front end staff were amazing and attentive. The specialist staff that provided the treatment were some of the best we have ever had. The treatment rooms were exceptional and beautifully designed. The overall experience was far above our expectations. We highly recommend Azure Spa to all.

Negative experience: Booked for my wife as a surprise. Nothing like the pics. Cheap, nothing luxurious about it other than the price. Facilities are dated and not enticing. Very very disappointing. In its location, expected much better. Maybe they should look at crown Melbourne or Sydney for ideas on what a real Spa experience should look like !

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience at Azure spa! From the moment I walked in and made my reservation, Dee was a pleasure to deal with. So professional and made me feel at ease and showed me around everywhere and explained everything. My masseuse Miyuki was incredible!! Went for the 60 minute relaxation message and it was amazing. Very relaxed environment. Will definately be returning when I’m back on the coast again. Thanks guys!!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I made the reservation for my spa treatment I was taken care of with such kindness and professionalism from Dee. This lady made me feel at ease and relaxed from the moment I walked in and took great care of me after my treatment. Anita was a top masseuse, listening to my needs and adjusting as we went along. The spa itself is clean, quiet and stylish. Thank you again ladies- I will be recommending you to all my friends

Negative experience: Truly disappointing. I don't even know where to begin. Firstly this isn't a "spa" and a place to go if you want to relax and escape.The location is next to a main pool area so kids are screaming and you can hear the party music being played from the pool area. In turn the music Azure play is so loud because they are trying to block out any outside noise which doesn't work and just makes the whole thing worse. The location is also next to what appears to sound like staff quarters, but I don't know what it was. There's just a lot of noise, lot's of banging, and you can hear the staff mucking around and laughing. I booked a 3.5 hour package and didn't enjoy it from the start. Unfortunately I bit my tongue hoping it would get better only until half way through requesting they stop, I just wanted to to get out of there. I was more stressed than when I arrived and ended up walking out mid treatment. When you're paying a lot of money you expect to get what you paid for, and you don't get that here. The noise is incredible not to mention the lack of training with the therapists. Overall in a nutshell - churn and burn, I'm sure they do well with the tourists they never have to see again. Locals, save your money and go somewhere else. Overpriced and under delivered.

Negative experience: Truly a waste of money - I would give zero stars if I could as the service as a whole is extremely underwhelming and overpriced. Management is disorganised and although I paid for a 90min treatment, i received a 60min treatment as the staff had to go home at a certain time. Then why not simply charge for a 60min treatment at the beginning? I have gone to so many different day spas around Goldcoast and usually have an amazing and relaxing experience. Service here was rushed, disorganised and I was overcharged - very disappointed and we would never go back.

Fantastic experience: Customer service at another level and a great spa treatment for that matter. I feel for their staff having to do it atleast 8 or 12 hours a day. Cant thank them enough!

Negative experience: Really disappointing for a ‘5 star casino’ Spa is next to the pool so kids screaming throughout the massage. I also had a facial, very simple, 3 moves applied over and over, lack of training from the spa or product company. Overpriced and under delivered I was more stressed than when I arrived Bad smell of wet/damp towels in the spa area, no after sales or recommendations Save your money and go somewhere else! Shame on you star casino, you should be doing allot better than this!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had an amazing experience at Azure. There was a warmth about azure the minute we walked and were greeted by two lovely staff. We filled in the pre massage paperwork and then shown to the change rooms where a locker slippers and robe were provided. We were taken by each of therapists to our respective rooms. I was given a choice of scented oils by my therapist Sarah, and then went into a state of bliss for 60 minutes. The facilities are fresh and very clean and modern. I will definitely be back on my next trip. My husband was equally impressed. I have been to many spas but the staff and quality of massage was exceptional. Thank you Azure!

Negative experience: Terrible experience. I paid $230 expecting a 90min massage but instead got a 60min massage. When asked why this happened, reception responded that the booking starts from “the moment you walk through the doors”. (So the time you spend filling out the forms and getting changed all count towards your massage time) Management here is disorganised, and they are not transparent about their pricing!! Beware of how much they charge as they will NOT refund you, even if they are at fault. Would not be returning

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to have a weekend getaway and stay at the Star Hotel, As it was a personal trip I really wasn’t too sure on what activities I would be doing therefore nothing was pre booked. On the day I decided to check out the Azure Spa. Called through via reception for a booking, been told it is busy and only one spot is available for 60mins took up the opportunity and requested for the Aromatic Relaxing Massage. As requested, arrived 15mins before booking. No one available to greet me so I walked around a bit to see the products on display, a wide range of products including a special section for men which is always nice to see. Another customer walked in and a beautiful lady popped out to greet her, that specific customer wanted a couples massage in the afternoon, only to be told they are fully booked. Recommend BOOKING in advance. Filled out some paper work and went straight to the changing rooms where a locker and robe was provided. Changing room also had showers and a sauna I had a quick peek and it was in good standard defo would have used it if I had time. My masseuse came out and introduced herself and took me into the room, The beautiful Alex very polite reviewed my paperwork and double checked the areas that I wanted focus on. Azure didn’t provide a choice of oil; they probably have the standard oil for all treatments. Alex had incredibly soft hands and a great technique. I felt very relaxed and comfortable with her. Just what you need. Wish the treatment was longer! At the end of my treatment, I was provided with tea and was able to pop the cost of treatment onto the room. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting the Azura Spa. Next time I visit I would love to try their facials. Thank you Alex for taking such good care of me. I hope to be back soon. Azure keep looking after your staff and your customers will come back time and time again. Cheers Trish
