Fantastic experience: It’s such a nice well setup gym, the staff there are so friendly and accommodating to all that want to start, continue or improve on their gym journey. Highly recommend to all my friends and family.
Fantastic experience: Michael is great. Being an ‘older’ person he has tailored my exercise plan to accommodate my weaknesses and strengths.The gym has a wide diversity of clientele and when I visit there is a big cross section of users. Very kid friendly and welcoming. I can highly recommend.

Negative experience: I go to see a physio who has their business inside the gym. The gym door is always locked even during "staffed hours" of 8am-12noon Monday-Friday. Would be nice for the gym to be staffed for longer than 4 hours during the week when the physio is operating their business Monday-Friday & have the door unlocked so that physio clients can enter the waiting area.

As we are specifically a personal training facility, and are an appointment based business, our staff are on board from 5.30am with 1:1 clients.
The safety of our members, staff and other businesses in our building such as Celtic Physiotherapy is our top priority and for this reason we keep our door locked.
Members of Top Performance Fitness have access 24/7 via a key tag or by appointment.
Celtic Physiotherapy has specifically requested we do not leave the door unlocked and has instructed her clients to ring the doorbell to notify her they have arrived for their appointment.
We will speak with Celtic Physiotherapy and find a solution

From personalised training plans, to meal preparation, the coaches are by your side through it all. I cannot recommend this facility more, an incredible community to be a part of.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Michael for a year and a half. I have trained with a few coaches over the years in Mount Barker and no one compares to Michael and the team at TPF. Very knowledgeable with training and nutrition, my program is updated constantly to get the results I want and I no longer have back issues. I highly recommend Michael and the TPF team.

Fantastic experience: Top Performance Fitness (TPF) is the No. 1 place in the Adelaide Hills to build and maintain a fit and healthy body. The training team are extraordinary in their ‘grounded’ approach to supporting people who join TPF. Brilliant online resources, sharing of important ‘no fuss’ nutritional information, showing how to do exercises ♀️properly, sharing the secret of how to lose weight and maximising the ‘cut (it’s embarrassingly easy ) changing up the training area to maximise comfort and demonstrating their own training highs and lows - keeping it real. It’s rare to see. In my three years working with personal trainer Em Purdie I’ve learnt that strength training ️♂️ requires consistency, patience, humour and time . The satisfaction of feeling real muscle at 54 is intoxicating. Training at TPF Is the ultimate in self care. There’s nothing like it thanks guys - you rock!
Fantastic experience: Emily at Top Performance Fitness has totally saved me from myself! Every time I trained at other gyms, I would injure myself and get stuck in the same old routine. Fantastic experience: I have been online coached by Em for 7 months and it’s been the best decision ever! Emily’s personal body building journey, matched with her sound knowledge of everything training and nutrition gave me all the confidence I needed when deciding on an online coach. Living in WA, I was lucky enough to travel across for a session in the TPF gym in Mount Barker SA when I was on holidays. The gym is modern, with a great range of equipment, an encouraging environment (especially for beginners) and top level coaches! Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend TPF anymore! I started my fitness journey here when i was at my lowest mentally and physically! joining TPF was the best thing i could’ve done for myself. I have become a completely different person mentally and physically and I have not looked back once. I have formed a passion & love for fitness like no other and since joining have gone on to study my personal training certificates, all thanks to TPF! This gym is family, and offers so many different options from group classes, personal training, nutrition consults with coaches, and online coaching! Fantastic experience: Have been working with Emily for over 3 months now, focussing on nutrition coaching. It was such a great decision on my part and so glad I found her! I really wanted to feel my best and also improve my sometimes disordered relationship with food and eating and I really feel like I've come quite far. I really trust Emily's guidance which has worked well for me but beyond that, I feel like her approach is super supportive compassionate and focussed on the long term. Fantastic experience: Emily has been my coach for 3 years now.
