Regarding the "racks" you mentioned—well, we might not have a lot of them, but we do our best to make every inch count. As for the size, yes, our space is cozy. We’d love to expand upwards, downwards, or sideways, but the heritage rules protecting Gladstone Park Shopping Centre keep our dreams a bit more grounded. We’re glad you enjoyed the cool bars outside! If you have any more feedback or suggestions, feel free to share. We’re always looking for ways to make the most of our charming little spot.

I see you’re leaving the gym due to the “terrible” ladies' access to the private gym area and the fact that management is allegedly always sick. Since we haven’t even trialed the new access arrangements yet, your feedback seems a bit ahead of its time. I’m the management you mentioned. Just to clarify, I haven’t been frequently sick; rather, I’ve been on bed rest after an accident three weeks ago, which has understandably impacted our operations.
As a fully self-functioning 24/7 gym, I’m sorry to hear that my absence has left such a huge mark on your experience. We’ll check your account history and make a note of your review so our staff are fully aware of your concerns. We’re always eager to hear from other business owners like yourself, who have experience in our industry, conducted market research, and are willing to offer us advice.

We’re glad you find our equipment up to the mark. It sounds like you’ve had a couple of minor “workouts” of your own—searching for wipes and adjusting to the indoor warmth. Rest assured, we’re on it! We’re working on keeping our wipe stations fully stocked so you don’t have to embark on a scavenger hunt. Our staff also clean the equipment regularly, but we appreciate members cleaning up after themselves as a common courtesy. Unfortunately, our "no towel, no workout" policy is rarely followed, and if it were, we could save significantly on the costly wipes that are often misused or not disposed of properly.
Regarding the indoor climate, we understand it can get a bit toasty, particularly with cooler weather outside. While cooler temperatures might seem ideal, some research suggests that slightly warmer environments can actually benefit muscle flexibility and performance. Warmer muscles are generally more flexible and less prone to injury, whereas cooler temperatures can lead to increased muscle stiffness and a longer warm-up time. Nonetheless, we’re exploring ways to find a better balance.
It sounds like you’re making the most of our gym’s offerings for both cardiovascular and weight training. I remember you from your visits and appreciate your understanding as we work on these adjustments. We’ll do our best to keep things as smooth as your favorite decade! And by the way, say hi to your mum from me.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I clearly remember our encounter.  You were upset that your membership expired and you claimed it was embarrassing for a man to ring the door bell and wait in the cold.  I explained to you Clubware sends a reminder 1st and 15th of every month.  You claimed you did not receive it.  I asked if you checked the spam/junk folder and you hadn’t checked.  You then proceeded to tell me that since you didn’t receive a reminder, you want to pay your 12 month membership of $389 over a 6 month period.  As a Small Australian Owned Family business I politely told you I cannot do that but if you like you can pay weekly via Debit Success.  You repeatedly and sullenly kept telling me that I should understand how tough things are out there and since you did not get a reminder I need to take ownership and offer you credit terms.  You then told me you were going to use the gym for 14 days as a ‘notice’ period for free and in that time decide if you were going to renew the membership.  I politely told you that unless you were a member you cannot use the gym.  You were argumentative, rude and intimidating by that point so I asked you to leave the gym.  Since taking over the gym 1st March 2023, we have regularly serviced the machines, repaired faulty parts or machines that were misused/mishandled, as soon as the repair companies could book us in (I have records and receipts), invested in new machines and are due for a other new shipment to come in and I even kept the ‘special’ prices as a standard to make the gym accessible for all.  We have further invested in renovating the gym, extended our property to offer classes like Amrit Yoga/Pilates, Boxing, Zumba, Boot Camps to name a few. Our community members are polite, kind, helpful and respectful to each other and we would like to maintain this positive energy field.  I personally don’t have any tolerance for entitlement and zero tolerance for misogynistic behaviour which you displayed during our encounter.  Having said this, I still wish you nothing but the best and hope you find a gym that aligns with your values.
