FIT College: Fitness Courses Perth North - Joondalup

Fantastic experience: I did Cert 3 in Fitness in 2023 and Cert4 in 2024. I'm in my 50s and not from a fitness background, quite the opposite actually. I chose FIT College as I needed online but also for the Saturday sessions where staff help you get through the practical assessments. You can do most of the work online and do your pracs at set dates at gyms north or south of the river in WA depending on the date. Despite my imposter syndrome I got through, largely thanks to Tim Stockwell who looks after online students. Tim is gracious and professional. He does the most amazing job of looking after students and helping them get through their assessments. I am extremely grateful to Tim for helping me get through. I'm excited about working in the fitness industry now. I would absolutely recommend Fit College.

Fantastic experience: The opportunities are endless through this course. FitCollege thrives with the support they offer to their students. Constantly pushing for job placements and keeping students motivated with having class progress checkins to having guest speakers explain the benefits and option of their service/gym. During my time there, I was educated with the likes of 4 teachers who all had a different background which helped so much with perspectives on the industry. Something that stands out for me is that after all the intakes of students, there is still the same intention of providing success for the whole class and supporting all students equally. There is a lot of potential waiting to be unlocked thanks to the help of FitCollege.

Fantastic experience: Fit College in Joondalup has exceeded all expectations I ever had and then some. The level of education is beyond amazing, the team are the most beautiful bunch of individuals I have ever come across and the way they go above and beyond to give you the most amazing experience is truly something so special to be apart of. The last few weeks, my chronic health issues have made it difficult to even attend class, but they have supported me and helped me, ensuring that I managed to reach the end of my cert IV despite all I had going on. I’m sad that the course is coming to an end as I’ve had such an incredible journey with the team At Joondalup Fit College, but so unbelievably grateful to have had the opportunity and experience they have provided me. I cannot recommend this team, location and courses enough. The best company and people to go through if you are looking at starting a career in the fitness industry.<3 <3

Fantastic experience: Fit College Joondalup should be your first choice if you are looking for Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Fitness. The knowledge of the lecturers (Kyle, Chris, Chris, and Lucas) not only wide but very deep they work in the industry and have an unrivalled passion for educating people. Importantly they all work in the sector as well and know the current trends and challenges facing fitness professionals, you will get real insights and application of the theory. The lecturers will help you every step of the way, there is never a time you won’t be supported or feel their passion in the classroom and on the gym floor. The classroom and gym are a great facility balancing the practical work and theory making it easy to get through the paperwork and practical aspects of the course in an efficient manner. You cannot discount the value of a classroom-based environment when going into a relationship-based industry, there are simply some things better done in person. You will very likely meet some great like-minded people and make a couple of new friends along the way. Not only will you have access to industry leading educators they have Crystal, a dedicated Careers Manager, Jobs Board and most importantly a large network of industry professionals they work very closely with. The access to this network and opportunities gives you a head start on finding a gym to setup in or a studio to gain experience in or even a job. There is a fantastic number of extra excursions and experiences to take part in if you wish to and get real insight to different types of fitness business and facilities, grasp them with both hands try something new, you never know what it will lead to. With Scotty there is no pushy sales tactics from their team when looking around RTO’s they will take the time to answer your questions and you can have a face-to-face conversation with a real person who will take the time to understand your education needs, I found this not an option with everywhere else I researched. People make the difference; Fit College Joondalup have an amazing team with a solid network to get you off to the right start as a successful Fitness Professional. I have studied a few certifications and post-grad courses and I have to say this was the most enjoyable and rewarding education experience I have had. I strongly recommend you consider Fit College Joondalup if you are looking to enter the fitness industry.

Fantastic experience: Coming from online and taking almost 18 months to do cert 3 to coming into the classroom and meeting like minded and awesome friendly people has been absolutely unreal. Thanks to everyone involved from the tutors, the students and everyone behind the scenes for making this what it is.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed Cert 3 & 4. I found this course challenging at times, mostly around my own limitations in my own mind - but what an awesome experience! The team at Joondalup were all fabulous, their guidance, energy, belief, knowledge and industry experience is fantastic. Fantastic experience: I would recommend FIT college to anyone I know. My experience here was more than exceptional, filled with laughs, learning new things and having fun in the gym floor. The class was uplifting with everyone supporting you and making sure everything was done on time. All the lectures (Kyle, Chris 1, Chris 2 and Lucas) had a different way of teaching which made class more exciting as there are 4 different personalities to work with. They had our best interest always and would let us ask any question as there are no stupid questions in the class. They help us go into the fitness industry with confidence in our self and they have high hopes for all of us. They helped us find job opportunities, you are guaranteed a job when studying through fit college. Overall, it was an amazing experience through all the different emotions felt over the 14 weeks, I wouldn’t take anything back, it was definitely the right decision! Georgia B

Fantastic experience: Great experience with a lot of likeminded people! Instructors are full of energy and passionate about progressing any aspiring PT to where they want to go.

Negative experience: The course lacked hands on experience, felt like repeated amounts of paperwork with huge workloads and not enough support.

Fantastic experience: For anyone who is considering about studying to become a Personal Trainer I highly recommend going through Fit College. I have just completed my CERT IV in Fitness (‍♀️) and the team at Fit College were awesome. I had such a positive experience the whole way through my training and studies. My initial contact with them was very welcoming, and the enrolment process was easy. It was great to receive phone calls from the tutors to see how I was going and to enquire on any questions I may have about my studies and the feedback from tasks submitted was always so positive and helpful. Living 365km away from Perth, the flexibility of the online learning suited me perfectly, enabling me to complete my studies around my work and family life. Fantastic experience: Although I had some pretty tough study conditions, the staff at fit college were there, supporting me the entire way. After completing my studies, they continued to follow up, contacting me on occasion, to make sure I had been successful in the industry and was working in great conditions.
