Fantastic experience: Probably the best gym I've been to in terms of all round equipment and machines. All the cardio equipment you need, weight machines, sauna etc. And with a fair price to pay. Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, staffed by passionate people who know their stuff and care for the clientele. Equipment is either new or in tiptop condition. VERY clean, including toilets. Nice touches such as deodorant, moisturiser, even hair ties, Q tips and tampons for the ladies. One of the rare gyms I would consider showering at. Dozens of large real plants purify the air and provide a lush ambiance and welcoming vibe. Absolutely love this place

Even direct feedback about aging equipment was heard and now it feels like every other day something is being upgraded or refreshed. Love this place, highly recommend!

Negative experience: They were great, but after I cancelled my membership and got everything sorted that have kept taking money from my account on multiple occasions. I have gone in and talked about fixing and was reinsured it won’t happen again. But once again another $30 has been taking out

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym roughly a year ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Not only are the facilities top-notch, but the staff here are absolutely incredible. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at True Fitness for many years now and wouldn’t workout anywhere else! They were very transparent throughout lockdown and have been so welcoming each time they’ve re-opened. They go the extra mile in supporting members, listening to requests, and they’re always keen to take feedback. I’m constantly impressed with their customer service! Members are greeted by name and a friendly smile, and the staff are just fantastic. The gym is well equiped and incredible value for money!!

Negative experience: Horrible gym, equipment is falling apart and outdated with most of the cables needing rewiring (unsafe). Took forever to fix the water fountain valve because the manager (Ari) skimps out on repairs. The only staff/front desk member who was actually decent was Rob up until he left. The current front desk manager (Jess Arthur) who has written a review on here (conflict of interest) has no personality and is beyond me how she became front desk manger.The other gym I now currently attend has fantastic upbeat staff and decent equipment. I would not recommend this gym at all. Would rate this gym 15/100 points at best. Its worth spending a few bucks more to find a decent gym and not be roped in with the 9.95 p/w deal. You get what you pay for in the end. I have the banks statements if google review needs to verify this review.

Negative experience: At present, I am in the midst of attempting to cancel my membership with True Fitness and so far, the experience has been painful at best. I am no longer living in the area and called through to request information regarding their cancellation process. I was advised by a very surly lady that I had to pop into the gym for them to put in my 30-day notice. When I requested a final payout figure (as the final day would fall between direct debit dates) she advised me that notice was taken from "direct debit date to direct debit date" - something that was not advised when I originally signed up over a year ago. When I explained that this was neither fair or appropriate and requested to speak to the manager/business owner, she advised me that she could not escalate the issue and that "it is, what it is." Following this phone call, I popped into the gym to give my notice and in hopes of speaking to someone who would help me resolve this issue. Again, I was met by another unhappy female employee who could not muster any politeness or professionalism. To "put through the cancellation", I was instructed to swipe my member's card and she did something behind the desk and (after a few arduous minutes) turned to me and said, "your last day is the 23rd of April but any direct debits that fall within this period will be drawn". Confused, I asked her if it was the full amounts as I had already had a fortnightly payment drawn on the 16th of March and had prepaid to the 30th of March. She confirmed that it was the full amount and said, "the smart thing for you to do would be to cancel next week because you'll have to pay for the additional week anyway." I was shocked and upset as I believed that the notice required was 30 days. In every other facility I have been with, the last fortnight had been deducted on a pro-rata basis. When I mentioned this to her, she kept pushing that this was final so, appreciating that there would be no solution provided, I requested confirmation of my cancellation request and a call from Ben (the business owner). She advised that I will receive the document by 5pm the next day (once it had been processed) and that Ben would give me a call today - neither of these happened. Checking my bank account today, I was appalled to see that True Fitness had deducted two lots of fortnightly payments without advising me that this would happen and thus, without my consent. I can only assume that this payment is for the cancellation notice period however, as I have not received a phone call back (nor any confirmation that my membership is being cancelled), I cannot say this with complete certainty. Prior to this experience, I would consider my time with them as being adequate (albeit the gym being untidy most of the time and the floor of the unisex infrared sauna sparking and sizzling due to an exposed wire). However, having met Ben on numerous occasion and with his proclamations of, "we always call back", I am disgusted with their [now] appalling customer service and dishonesty. Pull your socks up. Your clients deserve better.
