My First Gym Redbank Plains

Fantastic experience: My First Gym Redbank Plains is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly, making us feel like part of the family. The facilities are spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a wide range of age-appropriate activities that keep my little one engaged and excited every visit. The instructors are fantastic—they're not only skilled but also incredibly patient and caring with the children. It's clear they love what they do. I can't recommend My First Gym enough for parents looking to nurture their child's physical development in a fun and supportive environment!

Negative experience: Beware of Hidden Charges and False Policies I had a very negative experience with my first gym redbank plains. Initially, everything seemed great, but I was shocked to find out that they deducted more money from my account without clear explanation. When I reached out to inquire, I was informed of a so-called "policy" that was never clearly communicated upfront. It felt like they were just making up rules to charge more. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service made this experience incredibly frustrating. I would have appreciated clear communication about all fees and policies from the start, but instead, I was left feeling deceived. I would strongly advise anyone considering this gym to double-check every detail and avoid any surprise charges.

Fantastic experience: Had our son’s bday party yday and the booking process, staff and everything was absolutely amazing!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting. The worst thing is how upset my daughter is and that she's lost her enjoyment of gymnastics because of the instructor here. My daughter informed me the "mean teacher" would "say mean things" but she would do it "quiet enough that nobody else would hear". The next thing that has upset me is how poorly the payments are handled. They lock you into a contract which would be annoying but manageable except now that I'm trying to cancel, they're dragging it out. I've attempted my final payment 3 times now and for some undisclosed reason it won't go through on their end but I keep getting charged a late fee and that's able to go through. Funny that. And the last thing is that this location smells really bad. So if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, steer clear.

Negative experience: Poor communication, don’t take complaints on bullying seriously and then make you feel so bad for standing up for your child you won’t feel comfortable returning. Definitely don’t recommend unless you like your kid being pushed off equipment and screamed aggressively in the face. The centre manager aliesha never gets back and has terrible people skills

Fantastic experience: REMEMBER TO BOOK - They don't do walk ins! Contrary to some reviews, finding My First Gym Redbank Plains was a breeze. The gym boasts a prominent logo on the side of its facility, making it easily recognisable from a distance. Once inside, locating the gym in the underground basement is straightforward—simply enter via Redbank Plains Road, and it's immediately on your left. The clear signage and convenient location make accessing the gym hassle-free, even for first-time visitors. The facility at My First Gym Redbank Plains impresses with its spaciousness and cleanliness. There are designated areas for different age groups, ensuring that each child can engage in activities appropriate for their developmental stage. The cleanliness of the gym adds to the pleasant experience, providing a hygienic environment for kids to play and learn. The well-organised and open layout contributes to a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for both children and parents. Attending a session at proved to be both informative and beneficial for our child's development. Despite being physically advanced compared to peers, the session highlighted areas for improvement, such as body part identification—a valuable insight we can now address. Additionally, the necessity to book in advance was emphasised, as we witnessed a person being turned away during our trial run. This reminder ensures that everyone has a fair chance to participate and enjoy the gym's offerings. Considering my demanding work schedule as a parent, incorporating My First Gym into our routine weeks ahead is both easy and incredibly convenient. It is 100% worth the money you spend.

Negative experience: Kids liked it, but a colossal waste of money. I did it in the hope that my kids could learn gymnastics, but it got to the point where unless i can plan my life 4 weeks in advance, then the classes were already booked out for my youngest. If you're a single working parent with a staggering work life...don't bother, it's not designed for you and you'll just be wasting your money, the last few months I just gave up.

Negative experience: We had pre booked a trial class for 9 am and reached the plaza by 855 am. There are no indications that this facility is at the basement, the only sign board is at the start of the drive way and cannot be seen if ur circling the plaza. As a result we lost 20 mins searching and no one answered the phone till 9.10 am. Complete waste of time. After this we just got 5 mins at the gym with no guidance or training for our baby’s needs. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: My Granddaughter aged 8 loves the gymnastics ninga and hip hop classes. Great way to burn off energy and develop skills and confidence.

Fantastic experience: Mr 6 and Miss 4 love their classes at My First Gym. Classes are heavily play-based, as well as having a learning focus each week. They have grown in confidence, worked on their social skills, and experimented with a range of classes to find their favourites. Staff are friendly and the included drink bottles are great quality and spill proof. Thankfully they were affordable to replace when inevitably lost also! Can’t speak highly enough of our experiences.

Fantastic experience: My first gym is amazing my son is loving the classes he has done he is really into the marital arts classes with coach James and Adam the staff are so amazing, friendly and so welcoming

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love MFG! Our toddlers attend twice a week and have an absolute blast. They have built an amazing relationship with Coach Emily too. We also had a party in April which was fantastic, Coasg Teela & Coach Angel were amazing and super involved and ran the entire even smoothly. Can not recommend this place enough. Have been amazing and very accommodating to our needs

Fantastic experience: My kid is loving the holiday camps so far....organization is great, as well as it is really well maintained and clean, staff is very friendly and welcoming and the activities just great for kids....I wish they have the adult version of this..... I'll give another review once my kid joins as a member

Fantastic experience: Both kids really enjoy Ninja Warriors 3 to 4 and 5 to 7 Time rolls on, only have to the 5 to 7 now, the fun and Ninja Warriors were well run.

Fantastic experience: We had my son's 6th birthday at My First Gym in Redbank Plains. I highly recommend this venue for your next kid's birthday party. Adam and Maddy were exceptional hosts, fantastic with the kids and keeping them entertained. The course that they set up was age appropriate and so much fun! There was no stress or worry and nothing we asked was too much trouble. Thank you so much to Adam and Maddy for making Finn's 6th birthday such an awesome day for him and his friends. Highly recommended not only by me, but by the parents of all the other kids that attended also.
