Zap Fitness 24/7 Gawler

Fantastic experience: Great to be back! My partner whom I met at Zap Gawler 2 and a half years ago proposed to me xmas day and we have both since rejoined Zap Gawler after taking a break. Staff are really friendly and explained the new entry system and set up of the online account. Much more spacious than our previous gym and is so much more quieter allowing us to be able to use the equipment we like.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with many machines. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and personal trainers. Would recommend.

Negative experience: Gym was clean and the lady staff member seemed friendly enough. $15 for a casual visit is a bit steep considering there is limited equipment and a few pieces were out of order gym hasn't changed in years need of a upgrade and new equipment at some point.

Positive experience: As gym essentials go zap provides the essentials but the price does reflect the integrity of most gyms. When it comes to the gawler one; Cleanliness: 5/10. I've been to majority of the zap gyms in SA and about only 3 of them were of an acceptable clean state, this was one of them. The gym floor area is good enough with the exception of some inconsiderate illiterate members not knowing how to read the "wipe down machines after use" signs Toilets (MALE) are the only downside to this gym, sometimes toilet paper is everywhere water on the floors and even sometimes human liquids. Reminds me a lot of McDonalds hindley street toilets after 9pm. Staff: 7.5/10 Most staff members I've come across are polite and helpful so no complaints in that department although the reason as to why it's 7.5 and not 8 is because half the time staff aren't there on "supposed" staffed hours. (Totally understandable people can be sick or sick of work) Equipment: 8/10 Gym equipment is up to standard and does the job but without a doubt some are outdated. Cable attachments though do need some love and care. Other than that Zap is completely affordable and offers flexibility in their payment plans as well as the convenience of nationwide gym accessibility so if you're looking for an in and out gym that just has the essentials this is definitely the one for you.

Negative experience: One star is being super generous. Wish I could put minus 10 stars after my experience. Signed up for a free trial. Went in to get my fob no one there stood around for 20 mins waiting for nothing. Woke up this to 2 direct debit from my acc for 65 dollars. Haven't decided if I was going to use them yet but happy to steal from me. Rang and complained about it now have to wait 2 weeks for refund. Then l get a ph call why writing this review to say welcome to zap and to come get my key fob wow are they seriously for real

Positive experience: I was going to the Elizabeth zap fitness but after going into the gawler gym i decided to make it my home gym as it was much cleaning then the Elizabeth one and there is more room and the staff are much nicer, they need to bring in more machine (eg stair master) but I have been much happier at this gym Thank you to the staff here for always being helpful

Negative experience: I currently attend this gym as it is close to my new workplace (I used to go the golden grove one) The one staff member here barely ever says hello to me even if he's near the entrance. The bathroom does get cleaned regularly, hence the pair of shoes that have been there since I started coming here in October. The gym and equipment is okay, although their air-conditioning doesn't spread through the while place well.

Fantastic experience: I saw a great demonstration of initiative and a true reflection of character by the staff member at Zap Gawler. After leaving the gym I noticed this particular staff member had just left for lunch; a person intending to sign up arrived and the member of staff who I believe to be named 'Evan' consequently skipped lunch to help this individual sign up. I was glad to see such an undeniable exhibition of principal. Thankyou Evan!

Negative experience: This gym is very shabby. Desperately in need of an upgrade. Not sure how often the cleaners come as it is quite dirty. There has been no soap in the female toilet for a week. Gawler is the only Zap Fitness in South Australia not to be upgraded. It was scheduled for April last year. Then Covid hit. Still waiting.

Positive experience: Great gym have been going for a few years. The staff are always very friendly. There have been a few pieces of equipment that have gone, including the stair master which was quite disappointing. They also don’t currently have any personal trainers. However as I like I more quiet gym where people aren’t crazy intense it works really well for me.

Fantastic experience: I find there's really friendly staff, it's not a very busy place so I find a lot of privacy when working out which I love.

Negative experience: I am still a member here because the location is convenient but that is all! The gym is always filthy, my hands are black after using the equipment, the ceiling at the moment is literally falling in with electrical cords hanging down from it, it is hardly ever staffed and if it is they are on their phones in the office. I only started going here to see the awesome PT who was here but she has left now ;( she was the only good thing about this gym!

Negative experience: Never staffed, dirty gym always see members cleaning up and cleaning the equipment while staff are in their phones. Go elsewhere

Negative experience: Canceled my membership months ago only to find out they were still taking out money. Same thing happened when i put my membership on hold. Been trying to call and get in contact but no one ever answers. SCAM SCAM SCAM
