Fantastic experience: Loved working with the staff, specifically Claire! Had a great workout and the gym had what I needed during my visit! Will be returning on my next trip!
Negative experience: I used to call snap fitness when I wanted to get 1 month subscription, and for 4 years it worked pretty well for me. Then fews months ago, Claire said to me the price was going up from 73$/month to 120$... I explained that was unfair cause my contract said 73$ and I received a text saying that my membership's cost won't change. She still negotiated it up to 85$... I called snap fitness again yesterday and they said the price went up again to 120$. After talking with Claire the very best she can do now is 90$/months... I feel like this is never going to stop that's why I prefer to stop now and look for other gyms where people are treated better.

Negative experience: My partner and I have been trying to cancel our membership for about a week, but despite multiple emails and phone calls, we haven’t received any response. It’s frustrating to experience such delays with something that should be straightforward. Hoping the team improves their communication and customer service moving forward. Negative experience: Just a thoroughly horrible company to deal with. Signed up for a very short term basis whilst staying in the area. I was not able to use the gym due to them not having a member of staff available for the few days that I wanted to use the gym and they require a physical signing in process despite everything being done online . Had to send around 100 emails to try and resolve the issue. The (eventual) response was that they accepted there was confusion about the signing in process, we're apologetic, but refused to refund me despite acknowledging that I had not used the gym and would not be able to use the gym. Still, they gave me a very good reason for refusing a refund, "it doesn't work that way", was their considered and reasoned response. Well, it works the way you choose it to work. If you accept that there was confusion with the signing in process, accept that I didn't use the gym, accept that I would not use the gym, then why would you insist on holding on to money? The answer is clear, just a horrible business. The $80 was far too important for them to give up and I'm sure that their nasty business practises are a reflection of the kind of people who run this business. Avoid avoid avoid. Update following their response: Yep, they did respond, after chasing them up! And they acknowledged the signing up process was confusing and resulted in me not being able to use the gym. And they still fought tooth and nail for their 80 bucks! Like I said, horrible company and disgusting people to deal with. Their corporate words seek to mask the fact that they will screw over their customers any chance they get. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

While we do strive to accommodate all members, our policy is that membership fees apply regardless of usage, as access to the facility remains available throughout the membership period. Negative experience: Terribly run club. Rude staff who have continued to charge me after I’ve cancelled my membership. Bad equipment and way too busy as well. Avoid! Plenty of better alternatives around.

Negative experience: This place is badly run with some unfriendly staff. TVs are always broken for some reason. Floors are often filthy. Rarely soap in the toilets. Overrun with under 16 year olds who have no idea how to use equipment or understand gym etiquette, hogging machines for 20 minutes while they play on their phones and chat with their mates. It’s a shame as the equipment is decent and it’s a good size gym. They need to stop recruiting new members and look after the ones they have.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at snap fitness rose bay for the last 4 years and I plan on training here forever. The vibe, equipment and staff are all amazing! I recommend everyone come and sign up. Such a welcoming and positive environment. The manager Claire is also amazing

Negative experience: Gym and equipment are okay for the cost of the membership. But other things like just having 2 toilets and one of them is completely broken, there’s never toilet paper in both of them. Also there’s no quality control when there’s 4 people talking and hanging out in the machines when there’s people that actually need to use them and workout. Overall I think it has great potential and I would recommend if they could fix this things that become annoying in the daily basis.

Negative experience: Small gym with old and outdated equipment; members training without towels and wearing flip flops; staff turnover extremely high; bathrooms are disgusting…

Negative experience: the equipment is not maintained well, they let a variety of teenagers in who are under 16 and disruptive, they don't follow good standards of hygiene in machine use. They have ratcheted up the membership so there are few windows when the gym is not crowded except in the middle of the night.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting this facility after hearing nothing but good things. It was incredibly clean and tidy, loads of equipment in good condition and well maintained. The staff were friendly, the space had a great atmosphere, wonderful lightning and well considered layout. The bathrooms were also very clean with a good sized private shower and change room space. I was able to find an un-metered parking space on the same street at peak time, and there were plenty more. Bit of a shame it was so cold today, I would have loved to go out on the upper deck and use the outside balcony area. Again, I was there at peak time and yet it hardly felt crowded. A+

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. Most likely the worst gym experience I have ever had. The gym is so small your knees will be touching the person next to you when you’re doing a exercise from anywhere. The equipment are low grade, faulty and the worst part about the gym is its staff, very rude, impolite, Max, Albert and Jayson, made me feel very uncomfortable in the cancellation process. Stealing money from their members. Toxic gym.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Staff are super responsive and helpful. It has a great selection of equipment, and lots of different spaces so it never feels too packed. Love the upstairs studio for free weights and stretching. The outdoor terrace area is a bonus too.

Negative experience: I just received an email threatening me to pay just under $200. I left the gym a month after I joined as the gym was way too small for me. I called and requested for my membership to be cancelled and then was told by the staff member on the phone that it was confirmed and no other payments were needed before the end of my notice period. This is infuriating because I was happy to pay anything that needed to be paid to leave and make the exit as easy as possible but since the staff member said it was all good i thought i had nothing to worry about. I was literally there for MAYBE 30 days, it was a nice little spot but at the end of the day it was all very cramped and not many equipment options. The membership situation really brought my view of this place all the way down, If you don’t want a membership contract run around and headache DO NOT Join this gym.

Negative experience: Well priced, but need a mandatory towel policy as less than half of the attendants use one and most machines are covered in sweat.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership but nothing was cancelled from their side, so another payment came out. Called to resolve in a friendly way, but the manager was unnecessarily rude and hung up on me at one stage. He said he would get his area manager to call me when I said I felt he was being a bit rude, but I haven’t heard anything since.
