Fit Express Reservoir

Fantastic experience: Fairly new to Fit Express Reservoir and wish I signed up earlier! As a local the location is ideal for a quick lunch time workout or after work. The gym is not packed which makes doing a solid workout easier and all equipment is decent quality. Staff are super friendly and make each visit positve - highly reccomend.

Negative experience: Signed up online on the 07/04, cancelled on 16/04 without attending once or even setting foot in the gym, as I’m moving from the area soon. Went in to cancel membership in person, paid $60 for admin fees?? Bull****

Positive experience: Great gym, if you’re experienced and just want to get your routine done and be undisturbed especially as a woman this gym is perfect, on the smaller side but staff are beyond lovely and great atmosphere. Only reason it doesn’t get five stars is no stair master :(((( and half the treadmills don’t work properly. but for weights and other stuff it’s great. please get a stair master

Negative experience: My experience with this gym WAS good. After roughly one year of joining, I convinced my wife to join it. Unfortunately, she has to cancel the membership after a short while because she was pregnant. My wife even continues to pay for a few more months before cancelling it just to show support. However about a month ago things go downhill very quickly. Customers service was non-existence and it was very frustrating when you need help from the staff. If you have a disagreement (or if they THINK you have a disagreement) and you would like to talk to someone about it, good luck. They are more interested in insulting you than assisting you. Extremely immature and unprofessional. I would never go back to this gym or recommend anyone after what I have experienced. Context below but beware wall of text incoming: - I had my first born, moved house and refinanced, in January 2022. It was just me and my wife so our life was messy. I updated my credit card details and address with anyone I could think of, but I missed Fit Express. For some reasons I had the impression that I have cancelled my subscription with Fit Express after I moved house. In February, I received a text message from Fit Express stating my account was overdue. At the end of the text message it says ‘reply UNSUB to unsub’. Without thinking too much, I replied UNSUB and thought I have now unsubscribed AGAIN. And thinking that if there is anything, they will contact me. I received no texts, phone calls and emails since then, until 16 June 2022 I received the first text message from ARMA, a collection agency. The numbers ARMA used was labelled as suspected spam. I called up Fit Express, trying to understand the situation and explained to the staff I’m not in the area anymore but I will be back after a year and most probably will re-join the gym. The staff was not interested in what I have to say and told me they do not deal with me now as the debt has been referred to ARMA. I should not talk to the gym owner before I paid my debt and I can only re-join the gym after the debt is cleared and the owner allows it. Wow. Note that I was polite during the whole conversation, until the end. I contacted ARMA next. It was difficult to get to them, 30 minutes wait and then it went to voice message. I kept trying during my work hours until I finally got through on 23/06/2022 and requested the statement of the debt. On 27/06/2022, still have not received the statement, I rang up ARMA again to make the payment. I was sent a payment confirmation the next day and was told Fit Express will be notified shortly. Fast forward to 05/07/2022, I called up the gym again, and explained I have made the payment but still waiting for the statement. I was again told to talk to ARMA, despite the payment has been made. The staff was extremely arrogant, immature and hostile. It was only an 8-minute phone conversation, but appears to be one of the most unpleasant phone conversations I had in years. Among other things, I was told Fit Express has no obligations to provide me anything according to their contract, he found it hard to believe I have made the payment without the receiving the statement first and the fact that they got my email wrong from the beginning was because I gave them the wrong email. He definitely did not hold back in throwing all sorts of accusations at me. I’m not sure how the gym can choose not to supply a tax invoice to a late paying customer by stipulating that in their contract. For my email, they had one digit missing. The staff managed to blame what clearly to be either a miscommunication or their clerical error on me. I have to repeat myself multiple times that the payment has been made before he finally offered a solution. This treatment to their customer (well I supposed it’s ex-customer now) for $368.80, tells you a lot about this gym, especially even after the payment has been made in full. Edit: I'm guessing you are the person I spoke to on 05/07/22. Your 'disappointment' is well explained in the review. May be learn to read before starting a business?

Fantastic experience: Great gym with great owners. Good quality equipment, clean and always fairly quiet (I train in the evenings). Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend gym. Has multiple machine for same exercise, so never had to wait so far. Price is cheapest for direct debit. Would be nice to see yearly membership option. Clean and modern interior. Staffs are helpful.

Fantastic experience: I'm a big fan of being a huge muscular beast. This place has everything I need to keep my frame covered with a rippling mass of extreme rippedness. Think Brad Pitt in fight club, but more buff. Great place to train.

Fantastic experience: I used to go casually to gyms in my local area until I found out about Fit Express. I joined up straight away. Fit Express is extremely clean, all staff are welcoming & the facility has all machines to suit your needs. I love going to this gym and refuse to go elsewhere. I absolutely recommend this facility!

Fantastic experience: Looking forward to getting back there soon. Gym is always clean and well looked after. Could do with some cardio equipment upgrades, and fix the smelly water fountain, but besides that it gets the job done.

Negative experience: Fee is cheap, so is everything. Wouldn’t recommend. I mean there are other gyms with no “out of order” (Fly/squat/incline bench etc etc), or atleast don’t find the very same machines in that state every alternate week. I mean I’ve paid the fee during the lockdowns, when it comes to cancellation all the support to the gym goes down the drain? Also Steve, this is just not about your unprofessional behaviour, I’ve met other professionals at the very same gym they got good communication skills you should learn too. Nobody likes to get shouted/threatened just cuz they dropped weights on a rubber flooring, with literally no one around. Isn’t the very reason the flooring is rubber, to prevent any damage or absorb the impact, just in case someone dropped the weights? make sense ?

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym its massive with huge space to work out best value for money in the Reservoir area, been a member for 3 years and not once have I had any issues apart from Dan Andrews shutting gyms down. The owners are absolute champions and very helpful. Totally recommend for quality and value.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the cleanest gyms i have walked into. Its always immaculate and smells fresh. Equipment is clean and working, there is a good variety of freeweights and machines to work out with. Steve and Steve, the opperators are welcoming, engaged in the customer and keep a keen eye on members ensuring they are sanitizing equipment before and after use. The boys will follow up with members that do not put away equipment after use as well. Three strikes and your out approach, which is great. The music is often loud or invasive which can be distracting from your workout. Just ask the boys to turn it down and all good. In summary, Fit Express is an excellent facility and very affordable too. Thanks guys..

Fantastic experience: Great gym with modern equipment. I tried the gym for 4 weeks as part of a Groupon voucher and it was lovely. It has equipment to suit everyone and staff were friendly. Its modern and spacious, I really liked it. I am in-between houses/surburbs so I could not commit to a long term plan but once I’m sorted and hopefully close by, I will join permanently. Thank you for the pleasant experience

Fantastic experience: Fit Express Reservoir is very pleasing on the eye with quality equipment and the setup flows great from cardio, lighter weights & equipment to a seperate area for the heavy lifting stuff. There's always PTs around offering a hand or you can do your own thing. The memberships are cheap, especially when you consider what's on offer. It's the nicest, cleanest & best value for money gym I've ever been too, and the music's good too!

Fantastic experience: Been waiting for a gym like this in the area. Its perfect! clean, smells clean which is very important and the staff are eager to help and take the time to show you how to use some of their awesome machines. The bright green colour really suits their vibe- fresh, clean and full of energy. I also feel very safe training there super late/early hours in the morning. The bathrooms have a separate change area- so you can quickly get changed and don't have to wait. Also very clean. They have an amazing cable machine area in the middle of the gym- the MECCA OF CABLE MACHINES!!! - there's definitely no shortage of equipment. Last but not least (and probably my fav) is the functional training area. You can do your battle rope, skipping, kettle bell swing and burpee tabata workout. There's loads of space and heaps of balls and dumbbells to choose from. Awesomely affordable! you gotta check it out!!!
