Positive experience: The only thing in my opinion is the spin cycles face the outdoor windows at golden grove. I train in the morning and can never see the cycles screens as the sunshine dims the display and I can't read it. Apart from that, I love the place

Positive experience: This one specifically is quite small but has the equipment i need personally, the staff are helpful and kind. Everything is kept clean, there's space for your belongings, 3 toilets and 2 showers. So all that is well but.... Where my disliking of Zap comes from are the fees and misleading information about the membership being a contract. I saw the gym advertising 2 weeks free and then only $9 something a week, no mention about it being a contract; and all the little extra fees even just to have your account on hold cost $5 each week. Also, you can only put your account on hold a maximum of 6 weeks per calendar year. I've wanted to cancel my membership, but because of the misleading information about being in a contract, im unable to.

This was a statewide issue and was fixed within 24 hours Changed to 3 stars 24 hr gym and you need to use the NFC connection on your phone.. all good when it works but when it doesn't you try call the customer service but wait. That's only open Monday to Thursday during business hours. Has any one else had this issue that might be able to help please

Negative experience: I saw ZAP advertising "4 Weeks Free + $0 Join Fee," and thought, "Wow, that’s a great deal!" Spoiler alert: it’s not as straightforward as it seems. Here’s the real breakdown when you get to checkout: The $9.99/week option magically defaults to $12.99/week. Fun surprise! The $0 Join Fee is true, but don’t celebrate just yet. Instead, you’ll face: Access Setup Fee: $15.00 Account Service Fee: $4.99 Upfront Payment: $15.00 (after your "free" 4 weeks). So, while they technically don’t charge a join fee, they more than make up for it by sprinkling in a bunch of “creative” fees to inflate your total spend. Oh, and that $9.99/week rate they dangle in front of you? It's actually $12.99/week when you click on it. Classic gym industry move. If you love scavenger hunts for hidden fees, ZAP might be the perfect gym for you. Otherwise, you might want to shop around.

Positive experience: I find the new-ish digital access really finicky/unreliable (closing/opening the app again, turning bluetooth on/off helps usually). The previous physical entry fobs always worked straight forwardly.

Positive experience: I am one of the regular member who joined recently, all it needs some more space and more cross trainers and treadmills of new generation, older machinery works well sometimes screens doesnt work, But i really love the place and i like to work out there

Negative experience: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Was ok until they messed up one of my payments then treated me like a naughty child over $9.99. The staff member and area manager were way out of their "customer service depth" Just lock out over one payment error that was their fault./ No call , email or TXT first..So Pathetic‍♂️SAKE!

Negative experience: Do not join this franchise at all. They make it impossible to quit. I got a no lock in contract because I knew I was moving. I paid extra for it. I've since cancelled and they kept charging me. Had to file a dispute with the bank and cancel my whole card to stop them. I've contacted them again and they're still trying to charge. Scummy company.

Negative experience: Nice looking gym, average amount of equipment. Did a one time workout there and the gym hasn’t stopped calling me even though I said it was a one time use and I’m looking at other gyms

Positive experience: If this is going to be your main gym and you're there for weights, I suggest visiting it first. There is way too much cardio equipment with only ever 2-3 people using the 15+ machines in there. It's very small, so there are only one set of cables, one set of dumbbells, and 5 or 6 basic machines. No hamstring curl or hip abductor (of either type), nothing modern. It does have a good basic range, and the two squat racks are usually available. The free weights area gets the busiest but overall the gym isn't busy at all (which it really couldn't be). When there have been 5 people in the free weights area, my workout has taken twice as long waiting for equipment. The clientele are mostly beginner to intermediate lifters, a lot of local teenagers/20-somethings, so with one set of dumbbells be prepared to wait for the 10kg-15kg ones. The gym looks like it was probably designed for local housewives to be hitting the treadmills, but they must be going somewhere else. It's a very clean gym though, and decently maintained.

Fantastic experience: Signed up a month before. It is much cleaner and tidy gym unlike few other. Love it!

Negative experience: Absolutely poor customer service I have gone up 4 times during staffed hours to receive my key between 12 and 4 and there has not need one staff members there so I don’t understand how I will get my key if it’s always unstaffed.

As a newbie they assisted by giving me useful tips when they noticed something I was doing that may cause injury, the feedback was welcomed by me as I don’t want to hurt myself. I 100% recommend this gym anyone looking to start up not only for their low fees but great customer service.

Fantastic experience: Great mid sized gym with a new facelift. Has at least one of each machine with plenty of room to move around everything so you don't trip over each other. Worth the visit!
