Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a great workout that's both challenging and fun, look no further than Layton here! Layton leads some seriously intense circuit classes that will leave you feeling stronger and more energized than ever. His classes are a great way to get your heart pumping and improve your overall fitness, no matter your skill level. Layton is an awesome trainer who really knows how to motivate his clients to push themselves to their limits. He's always encouraging and supportive, and he's great at tailoring his classes to meet the needs of everyone in the group. If you're looking for a great workout with a great trainer, this is the place to be!
Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym I have ever trained at! The team are so welcoming and have created a great environment to work out in. A super supportive gym where the trainers are truly invested in each member to help them achieve their fitness goals no matter what fitness level. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic experience: Hands down, best choice I’ve made to join and train at 12rnds Toowong. VERY friendly team who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at and have the patience and passion to improve everyone as individuals. It’s a gym where everyone becomes a family as we all have common goals :)

Fantastic experience: I am loving being part of the 12RND Toowong family! The trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging, and supportive, the facilities are top standard the sessions are always interesting, and the flexibility of stopping and starting sessions whenever you want is a game changer for me! I have a 4yr old plus one at times and the tram at 12RND Toowong always make it work for us! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I walked into 12RNDs Toowong feeling unfit and unsure but I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The new owners (Ethan and the crew) work so hard to make it feel like a community, the trainers take the time to know you and your capabilities so you can achieve your best, everyone else is so supportive and the workout itself is perfect for me. I still wouldn't consider myself 'fit' but I do feel like I fit in and that's what makes me want head on each day. Thank you Team

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym I've ever trained at. The staff are so welcoming and really make you feel comfortable getting started. Really impressed and the equipment is also top notch, I couldn't recommend this gym higher!

Fantastic experience: 12 round has been the only thing that has worked for me and kept me going to tree gym and loving it. I get bored with “normal” gyms but 12 round always keeps you going with workouts that always change, you can make things harder/easier if you want, and they have a really high quality with their trainers. Both regular trainers are champion fighters so they’re really onto your boxing with the pads and bags. Love it, would recommend to anyone and it’s worth the money I think if you’ll actually go and stick with it :) 8kg fat loss and counting!

Negative experience: First thing's first, if you don't know what 12 Round is, it's timed circuit training, nothing more, nothing less. You're either going to like it or you're not. And if you don't like gyms, this place isn't gonna change your mind. I'll give you a little background on me to give my experience some context. In the past few years I've put on a substantial amount of weight due to health reasons. I went from being the fittest I've ever been to the least fittest and most overweight I've ever been. After getting to the point where I'm ready and able to start doing some form of training again, I decided to give 12 Round a go (based on a friend's recommendation at a different 12 Round). My experience thus far has not been good: 1. I turned up for a trial session and the trainer seemed uninterested in spending time with me and teaching me all of the necessary boxing movements (more on this later) and perturbed by the fact that I was new. She also appeared to not know I'd booked in a trial session at all and it seemed to inconvenience her, which she did not hide well. I fumbled my way through 6 rounds, not really knowing what I was doing or if I was doing it well, wearing boxing gloves and feeling weird, all the time dying from the intensity of the workout. Despite this I thought I should try to do something about my weight and I did enjoy the boxing part of the workout, so I decided to (stupidly) sign up for the "28 Day Results Package" for $100. A mistake, for sure. 2. Probably the most important thing I have to say about 12 Round in general - THESE WORKOUTS ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR BEGINNERS. They are too intense. Simple as that. I'm not a 'beginner' either, as I previously mentioned, but I am extremely unfit, and the intensity of the workout is too high. DO NOT SIGN UP TO 12 ROUND IF YOU ARE NEW TO FITNESS OR VERY UNFIT. I can't stress this enough. You need a certain level of cardio, strength and coordination to get through even 6 rounds. This system has been created as a '1 size fits all' which is a ridiculous and flawed concept. 3. Following on from both of those points - there are a lot of fitness movements that you need to know the name of, and how to perform them, otherwise you're left standing there like an idiot. After the first session I went back to give it another shot to try to get some value out of the "Results Package" I'd signed up for. But the entire circuit was full of exercises and movements I didn't know how to do and boxing terminology I wasn't familiar with, soo... what are you meant to do? The female trainer from the trial spent so little time teaching me anything that I had no idea what I was doing - I felt like an idiot and it was embarrassing. The male trainer in this 2nd session was very friendly and helpful and he did what he could but I felt all of those things you feel as an overweight person turning up to a gym and trying to make a positive change, only to face an insurmountable challenge that makes you feel bad about yourself. I will not be going back. I should never have signed up after the first session but I was optimistic that things would improve. They did not. However, if you're already fit, know boxing terminology and are looking for a challenge you're in luck: this place is for you.

Fantastic experience: Eli, Miles and Isabel are 3 great trainers who will whip your butt in to shape. Always pushing and encouraging you do do better and go the distance. And their focus pad work and combinations are insane!! Been there now for a little over 2 yrs and still love it. Great concept
Fantastic experience: I've only good things to say - the trainers are very patient, and take care I don't hurt myself, the routines change every day and keeps it all fresh and fun. The system is very time efficient, I can start on a station when I arrive, and most importantly I get results.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to smash out a fun workout in under an hour! Eli and Isobel are awesome trainers, who make sure you know what you are doing, correct you if your technique is off and offer up boxing combos a few times a session to really get the most out of you. Every session is different and guaranteed to make you sweat. Cranking out an early session is the best way to start my day!
Negative experience: While my experience as a member of 12RNDS Toowong was not bad, my experience trying to untangle myself from them has been exhausting. I was told at my time of sign up that cancellation was simple. There was a 30 day cancellation period and then the account was closed. After finding the opening hours quite hard to work within with my work schedule I sent an email to the gym asking for my account to be closed. I received absolutely no response, and 3 weeks later, worried about my membership payment not being cancelled I emailed them again. I again, received no reply. Before my cancellation the majority of my contact with the gym had been through email with exceptionally quick response - it was weird. I hoped that it was simply a case that they'd cancelled the account and forgotten to confirm with me. Until a month and a half later when I looked through my bank statement to see repayments still being taken from my account. I emailed them again, this time demanding a response and a refund and cancelled my debit card to ensure the payments would cease either way. They finally responded to me and said they'd submitted my request and didn't understand why this was happening to me. They promised me a refund to my account within 3 days. It has now been well over a week, they owe me $176 in falsely acquired membership payments and they are again not responding. Do not give this gym your financial details, they will scam you and make it a nightmare to get into contact with them about it. The gym itself is fine, but the experience of trying to leave them has been one of my worst experiences with a business to date. Beware.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to 12 Rounds for 12 months now and I can't get enough! Professional, friendly trainers who don't just know your name, they know your birthday, your job, your injuries and what you did last weekend...because they asked. They push you and train with you one-on-one, which is good value for your money! The workouts are intense, ever-changing and fun! Great environment & members, jump into the session whenever is convenient, the 12 Rounds system can suit anyone, go at your own pace. And they always have some kind of promotion to help make the decision to join so much easier! Keep up the good work boys!
Fantastic experience: Joining 12 Rounds is quite easily the smartest choice you could make in your training. The exercise regime on offer is nothing short of explosive; with sessions fitting into 45 minutes, you will not find a more effective full-body workout. The dedication of the personal trainers cannot be faulted. The advice they offer, whether on technique, supplements or fitness goals, is the most valuable part of the 12 Rounds experience. The atmosphere created by the members - both young and old - is what has made this the best gym in Toowong. You'll keep going back.
Fantastic experience: In my opinion the key differential of 12 Round Fitness program is the combination of exercises, designed to fully cover strength and cardio workout during the 45 minutes run. The sessions are also supervised by experienced trainers, who constantly guide you through the exercises and help to correct mistakes, making sure you are getting the optimal results. The flexibility of the classes is also another attractive, allowing to fit your training according to your schedule. I certainly recommend!!
Fantastic experience: I love going to 12 Rounds! This is the first time in a very long time that I have actually enjoyed working out and can see noticeable results. It's easy for me to come after work and jump right into the session. I've been going here for almost 1 year and still enjoy going, Eli is a great trainer, always helping me out and so energised which is what I need to get me through the session. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Great high-intensity workout every time. There is a good balance of strength/resistance training, conditioning and cardio exercises to give you a whole-body workout. You can tell the trainers are invested in your fitness- they push you out of your comfort zone and they all know you by name.

Fantastic experience: 12 Rounds Toowong is amazing!!! I have been with them for nearly a year now, I am stronger and more toned then I've ever been. The personal trainers ( Eli especially) are friendly and consistently helping you better yourself. They monitor your technique and help you if needed, they are very approachable and make working out comfortable. I always tell people that 12Rounds is the place to go, if they ever want to join a gym! :D

Fantastic experience: At 12 Round you will find yourself being pushed to the limit every time you show up. Not only are there several cardio peaks in every workout but a great balance of strength and conditioning training. I love that I can just show up and know I'm going to have a great all-round workout without a second of planning on my part. Shout out to head trainer Eli, who believes in you and makes you feel like you can achieve what seems to be impossible at the start. It is hard not to get results with him keeping an eye on you

Fantastic experience: I have never been interested in fitness/working out till I found this fantastic gym. I have been going for over 8 months now and still love it. Everyday there is a new workout that makes me challenge my fitness. Eli is fantastic, he has helped me achieve so many goals in the past 8 months and can't thank him enough. I would highly recommend 12 rounds to anybody that loves a challenge. :)

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with knowledgable and friendly staff! I've done Crossfit in the past but I've never seen results such as the ones I've seen since I've started 12 Rounds a few months ago. For someone who doesn't like going to a traditional gym, 12 Rounds is perfect because it only takes about 45 minutes and the structure of the work outs makes it such that each session is fun and over before you know it! I can't believe how much stronger I've gotten and how much better I feel since joining. I really look forward to my sessions which is great because I'm motivated to keep going! I can't recommend 12 Rounds enough!

Fantastic experience: Dhenzkiez Giberson (dheejhaybabyface22)Jun 26, 2015 One of the best place I ever been in. It's so much better than a gym. Reason being is that everytime you do the 12 rounds you lose something kilos and more. At the gym you spend an hr you don't loose anything. With 12 rounds. The money you pay is guaranteed that will help you gain energy lose what you wanna lose. Just 45 minutes of your time a day or even 3 times a week. Or less. Always Guaranteed that you will see changes. And it feels great. Now I don't work for the company. But the staffs are great. They motivate you to the point you'll believe in your self and do it all. After all it is all for your benefits. You pay more just to get a private training. This I think is mostly affordable. When you can't do it you can always call and have a break then come back whenever your set dates. They are great. Trust it. -D. Giberson I'll give it 10 stars if i could.
