Fantastic experience: I read all the 5-star reviews before joining and thought, they must be good, but surely not that good? Turns out, they’re even better than I ever expected! I was a member of a circuit-style gym in Sydney for five years and only left because we moved interstate. I absolutely loved that place and never thought I’d find anything comparable in Queensland. I tried another local gym, but it didn't feel right—and then I found UBX Newport. It has everything I loved about my old Sydney gym and much more. UBX Newports absolutely smashed it out of the park in every area! What makes UBX Newport stand out for me? The incredible atmosphere—welcoming, energetic, and fun. The huge improvements in my fitness already—I'm seeing real results real quick! The genuine, down-to-earth community—no ‘Insta gym’ vibes, just supportive, friendly people. Amanda and Byron—absolute legends who make you feel at home from day one. The music—such a game-changer for motivation. How well everything is run—super organised, always clean, and well maintained. The social events—I've only been to one so far and loved it! The superb air conditioning system—which they are not afraid to use. It makes a huge difference. If you’re thinking about joining, just do it. You won’t regret it. I’m very happy that I've found my gym home

Fantastic experience: Just had a free trial at Newport and it was brilliant! Byron was so helpful and friendly and super encouraging, just what I needed after a long break from exercise. It was hard but you could adjust to your fitness level which was great. Will definitely be visiting again whilst in the area!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! My husband and I come here to visit family every summer and I make sure that I visit here every time! The staff is super friendly and motivating as well as all of the people who work out there! It’s an awesome workout and one of the best gyms I’ve been to! I love that you can join in at any time during their hours! Definitely would join here full time if I lived in the area. Thanks for a great gym & environment!

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars I’ve been training at UBX Newport for a few months now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best fitness experiences I’ve had. The facility is top-notch, always clean and well-maintained. The trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and really invest in your progress. Each session feels challenging but achievable, and I love the variety of workouts they offer—boxing, strength training, conditioning—there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is motivating and supportive, making it a great place to push yourself and reach your goals. Highly recommend UBX Newport if you’re looking for a friendly yet intense workout environment!

Fantastic experience: I have never picked up a boxing glove in my life until starting UBX Newport, now I absolutely love the boxing exercises! The change of strength and conditioning workouts each week keeps you on your toes and targets all your different muscle groups! The coaches are unbelievable and so supportive of each person and their individual goals, this creates a positive, happy and motivating environment. I only recently moved to Australia when starting UBX and so I was quite nervous but every member and coach made me feel so comfortable and part of the community straight away. You won’t regret joining this amazing community!

Fantastic experience: The team at UBX Newport are very welcoming and cater for all skill levels. I was a little apprehensive at first but within 5min I was enjoying myself and challenged for the full 12 rounds. The atmosphere and other members add to the overall experience. I can’t recommend UBX Newport highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Joined in August on my son & daughter in-laws recommendation. I went in with a bad knee & massively overweight., 6 months later out jogging & 14kilos lighter. Best part is I have really enjoyed it, everyone makes you feel welcome & after 45 mins you’re in & out. I have made friends for life. I’m 55 so it’s never too late. It’s about making you the best version of what you can be. The team they have there are great, always encouraging. Looking to drop another 5Kilos by end of March……Amanda & your team,THANK YOU.

Fantastic experience: UBX Newport has changed my life. My fitness & mental health is the best it has ever been and I am sincerely thankful for the support, encouragement and love that Amanda and the coaches have provided from day one of joining. Fantastic experience: I’d had a friend recommend UBX Newport to me late last year and I am so glad I went in and trialled it. It’s a great group of people. Not having to book in for a class time gives me so much flexibility and it’s definitely an important part of my routine now. All of the trainers are amazing at motivating, pushing you that little bit extra and helping you improve :). Everyone seems to walk out of there happy and positive ☺️.

Fantastic experience: UBX Newport is more than just a gym - it’s the most amazing community made up of knowledgable and encouraging coaches and supportive fellow gym-goers. I’ve been hooked from the day I did my trial last May and have been going consistently 6 days a week ever since. The workouts are fun but challenging and every single workout is different. The best thing is I can go any time within the opening hours! If you’re in two minds about giving it a go - do it! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending UBX for a few months now and it’s safe to say I’m hooked! They coaches are amazing, very friendly and helpful. No two workouts are the same and the club has an awesome vibe. The best thing is there are no set times so you can fit in a workout when it suits you. Best gym I’ve been to hands down.

Fantastic experience: Can you choose 6 stars??? I joined UBX Newport thinking it would be the same as every other gym, I was wrong. Not only does Amanda and the other trainers genuinely care about your fitness journey, but they make it possible too. I participated in a 6 week challenge that just finished last week and saw amazing results (down 7kgs including 5kgs of body fat) while being supported the entire time, even with a food plan (that actually works with delicous food, and plenty of it). The other members are amazing too, the energy whenever you are working out is amazing and everyone has each others backs, especially when you need the extra support, it will be there. The operating hours are perfect, the facilty is brand new, and you can't beat the location. 100% recommend, if you are on the fence as to if you want to join, come in and talk to the team and arrange a trial, you will be hooked.

Fantastic experience: Since having twins I’ve struggled with high cholesterol, sitting above 10 every blood test I’ve tried everything to bring it down - diet, exercise, less wine (was not a fan of this option ), but no luck. After my last blood tests the doctor was thinking I may have to concede and go on cholesterol medication which once you start you can’t stop. Anyway fast forward 3 months since UBX opened in my area…blood tests again this week and amazingly my cholesterol is now in a perfectly healthy range, for the first time in 15 years! The trainers are amazing at UBX Newport and it doesn’t matter size, shape, fitness level or injuries, these awesome trainers help by modifying all activities to ensure you train within your means. I have lost 8 kilos since joining 3 months ago but my energy levels and overall health are the big winners. Love training there (oh and the view ain’t bad either). #ubxnewport
