Fantastic experience: MASSIVE CHANGE Have been going to this gym for months as it was close to home and was not the best before. Recently a new owner has come in and has made big changes. Hygiene, tidiness and general vibe of the gym aswell as the friendly stuff at reception have greatly improved the gym. The owner is moving gyms to a new location and i cant wait!. Great props to both the new owner Arshard and the friendly new stuff. Cant wait for the new gym!!

Negative experience: Honestly the worst gym I’ve ever been to. I’m a member of plus fitness but after moving to this area I cancelled after one visit. No bench press no lat pull down wtf. The owner should be embarrassed. It’s like they found old equipment being thrown out and thought wow I’ll open a gym. I have to wait a month to cancel so have to put up with this and the 3 days I’ve been here only seen 1 other person on week day nights lol. Says it all

Fantastic experience: How things have changed in a couple of weeks. We have a new owner who makes regular visits. He has also had place thoroughly cleaned. Really great all round. It's now a pleasure to train there. The gym is moving to bigger and better premises within the next few months. Arshad (owner) deserves success.

Negative experience: Clean the gym, it’s a total mess

Negative experience: The gym feels neglected, dusty equipment here and there, and the restrooms could definitely use more frequent cleaning as well as emptying the bins. It's a shame, because the location is convenient .I hope management can put a bit more effort in maintaining it.

Negative experience: Terrible, just terrible. I had to go to this one because the one in Wolli Creek is undergoing renovations. Derelict and abandoned for obvious reasons.

Negative experience: Very unhygienic. No soap in the toilets, empty hand sanitizers and no sanitizer wipes.

Positive experience: Good equipment, but small and cramped. You can tell this gym is well used. They've put some effort into keeping the place clean recently.

Negative experience: Small, Not enough equipments and no air con Very dusty and hygiene is zero!!!

Positive experience: Chill small gym that has everything you need, but needs a serious clean. There are flies going around, dried piss on the toilet, no soap, nothing in the vending machines, and there is pile ups of dust underneath and around equipment. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Also the toilet doesn't have a door for months now.

Negative experience: You cannot be charging 30$ a fortnight, and not have basic hygiene practices installed. No soap in the bathrooms, there’s flies in the bins and the place where you place down your bags, no stock fill in the vending machine. This is crazy, I’ve signed up since April, and there has been no difference, other than some wipes. What’s hilarious, is the hygiene sign outside the bathroom, as if anyone can even properly wash their hands. So disgusting. The wipes were recently introduced wow! Can the workers do something, and stop being lazy? Some basic hygiene products in the bathroom isn’t going to put a dent in your salary. This is literally your job. Ramsgate plus fitness, their workers at least do something, and have basic hygiene products installed. Overall better plus fitness, considering you pay practically the same price, plus fitness Ramsgate is bigger in size, has SOAP, and overall not dirty like Rockdale. I will be switching, if something doesn’t get changed. This is outrageous

Negative experience: Hi ,tiny gym with unethical practices, and all equipment is cramped up, arrogant staff,who are not looking to solve a patrons problem, they changed my club membership without even informing me and now are asking me to pay by involving recovery agents who keep harrowing me ,after me canceling my membership in time.i asked them to please put a hold on my membership, And they asked me to come to gym during peak Covid-19 for filling up a form , I asked them to email me the form which didn't want and forced me to come to the gym even when I was uncomfortable and didn't want to go because of safety issues, the world is battling covid-19, haven't used their gym since January 2020, and now they want me to pay an excess of $175 by involving recovery agents, They are unprofessional and only interested in your money. They responded to my email 2 months later,Please stay away from using plus fitness Rockdale as they are unethical ,unprofessional and unapologetic in their ways of dealing with customers especially if you are an expat then they take it to the next level. absolutely gutted and disgusted and frustrated and intimidated and worried about my life by their handling of my case.

Positive experience: the gym is small but has most equipments that I needed however one thing urgently need to be improve is the toilets need to be mop daily, when I change from work cloth to gym gear in the toilet the floor is never clean, please there are only 3 stalls in the gym mop it daily

Negative experience: February 2021 Contacted to cancel membership they refused to accept my request via written email saying it is not possible despite email are legally binding forms of contract. However the Rockdale Gym insisted singed pdf form to proceed however I do not have a computer handy at the moment. No worries i will cancel membership using FAIR TRADING and will use Fitness First opposite to them! Totally pathetic customer service. April 2021 Received message from Plus Fitness thus increased another star in the feedback. It is important to reflect an effort from the business to always be the best they can Clarifying previous statement, when I say, "accumulated amount of dead skin to equipment" I am referring to the cross fit equipment next to the dead lift frame. March 2021 Poor ventilation and air conditioning off, some of the equipment you find an accumulated amount of dead skin and grime to it, lots of parking, relatively clean toilet but the doors do not close automatically, the space is super small.

Positive experience: Improvements were made since my last review and I genuinely commend the fixing of certain long-standing issues. Renovations and policy-changes were realised.

Fantastic experience: Small gym BUT it makes it more private as it is not over crowded and the staff there are great.

Negative experience: Would recommend a repair to several of the machines in this gym. Unfortunately not as kept as some of the other Plus Gyms around.
