Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have ever trained in. Amazing staff, great equipment and a true sanctuary. This gym is staffed by a great supportive team of women that embraces and enhances other women. Michelle my PT has delivered amazing weight loss and body sculpting results in such short period of time. I definitely would recommend training here. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey here at Fernwood Bulleen :) keep up the good work!

Negative experience: I was taken on a tour yesterday by Connie. The place is in a basement which is very dark and the bathroom although it looked clean - was very smelly. The discussion around my 'fitness goals' was more like an interrogation, and I was pressured to purchase a 12 or 18 month membership on the spot before even having tried the gym. When I showed resistance - it was met with the comment 'but you have been to gyms before' Her tone immediately became very cold and I could see she was frustrated with me when I insisted I would prefer to do a trial first... it was at that point I decided to walk out - I chose to look at fernwood because I assumed there would be a warm and friendly atmosphere and I was on this occasion shown the complete opposite. "People don't necessarily remember what you say and do - but they do remember how you make them feel"

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Fitness is a welcoming and positive centre for all who are health conscious and wanting to kickstart their regime or maintain their health. Ive thoroughly enjoyed the friendly staff and members, the great vibes and energy in the classes and coaching. The in house infrared sauna has also been a treat and the staff kindly book me in for sauna around my workout times. Its super convenient having shower facilities, hairdryer and straighteners, and even cotton buds. I feel pampered and held each time ive left the gym! Well done to the team on being so encouraging and supportive. Highly recommend the centre for anyone needing to boost energy or recharge on a weekly or even daily basis!

Fantastic experience: I Joined Bulleen Fernwood a few months ago and I’m loving it. This place is pristinely clean, so well organised and so much space. Heaps of equipment so u never have to wait for anything. The staff and members are all so friendly and welcoming. The members kitchen is the cherry on top for a cuppa afterwards.

Negative experience: Slightly aggressive staff yesterday. We won't be joining.

Fantastic experience: My first experience with Fernwood Bulleen have not been disappointed! I train here about 3-4 times a week and find the consistent positive trainers and participants who take class create a perfect workout environment. It’s a hard workout with happy people! And I am seeing results for sure. They have a big and clean gym area/toilet/ shower facilities (and nice smell!) for women. Such a family/women power vibe as soon as you walk in the doors – I highly recommend checking this gym out.

Fantastic experience: Love Fernwood Bulleen! The fit30 classes with Paula P are challenging and fun all in one. The team around the gym and the other trainers are friendly and always helpful! I’m always encouraged by the other members too. A wonderful community & great facilities for women - no matter what your fitness level!!

Fantastic experience: recently joined and love this gym! Staff always welcomes you with a smile and other members are super nice. I enjoy the facilities and amenities, the private personal training sessions and group fitness classes!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym, it’s a great community of women with a positive and welcoming environment. The staff and instructors are super friendly & go above and beyond to accomodate your needs. I personally love the fact there is Reformer Pilates offered here as well as a range of classes!

Fantastic experience: I joined Fernwood Bulleen in the middle of last year and have struggled to get there on the regular. Let me tell you that the staff here are soooo patient and genuinely willing to help you reach your goals. It’s a very non judgemental space and I appreciate their time and effort with me. The Pilates is amazing! The cheapest deal you’ll find I believe. The teachers are crazy good and allow you to go at your own pace.

Positive experience: Staff are lovely, classes are great and equipment is great.But considering this is the most expensive gym in the area, for the price you’d expect a little better upkeep. The bathrooms always smell. Not like anything bad in specific, just like it’s unclean and unventilated. Same as the group fitness room. I understand the gym is underground and windows and ventilation is difficult, but there should be a solution. Perhaps and exhaust fan. I have had many casual bathroom chats after classes and most women feel the same way about the smell but we’ve all been to embarrassed to say anything.

Fantastic experience: I don't know why I waited so long to join! Only 2 weeks in and I feel like part of the family. My personalised strength training program gives me joy - listening to my podcasts or music and getting fit! The Fit30 class is hard work and a magnificent way of doing a burst of cardio and there are lots of other classes (and a creche!). The treadmills and steppers have Bluetooth Netflix/tv/etc. The staff are so happy to see you, help you and they love their jobs! Whether you feel like a bit of company or feel like keeping to yourself, YOU CHOOSE, I am so happy I joined. Tell them I sent you!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for over two years, and cannot speak highly enough of the venue and personal trainers. With 24hour access, I am given the flexibility to work out around my busy schedule, and feel safe in a secured environment at any time of the day. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A great place to workout, lots of room and variety of classes including reformer Pilates. A lot of gyms can be pretentious but not here, the members and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and yes like the show Cheers "everyone knows your name" and what to know your name. I definitely recommend joining.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I joined Fernwood Bulleen. The facilities and classes are great and the women are friendly. The gym is suitable for women of all ages which I like.

Positive experience: Great staff, friendly and helpful. They remember you name which is very nice. It's a small gym, very quiet over Covid which I liked. They where very accommodating. As there was no child care during covid I would bring my baby in the pram with me. When I had to quit my membership they where also accommodating. How ever if you are a serious about the gym you might find there is limited machines etc. But they have everything you need but no cable machine, back extension for example. Could do with a couple more. Over all a great experience

Negative experience: Staff are super friendly, kind and helpful. But I don't recommend it. If you care about if there is any man will be on the gym or not be sure there will always one, even if they told before you sign the contract "no men allowed"!. not true

Positive experience: Friendly staff always remember your name, makes this gym feel like home... Many group classes, especially various yoga types and Pilates reformer room. No sauna or spa tho. In non covid times the lounge is always available.. with breakfast in mornings

Fantastic experience: Love being part of this gym and discovering FIIT30 and Metafit. Class times are so varied that I can come morning or evening and even have breakfast in the lounge before I start my busy day. Body is changing and I'm feeling great, staff are so amazing always being positive and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Staff are super friendly and helpful. Fantastic support, especially for new mums, with a fantastic crèche on-site. I have been doing FIIT30 since my bub was 9 weeks old and have seen phenomenal results. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have read the above reviews & quite frankly, do not find all womens gym to be discriminating at all! I for one, to do not feel comfortable woking out around Men and this space provides me with just that! Can't please everyone i guess.

Negative experience: Gym is in the basement of a shopping centre and is very dark inside with almost no free weights or benches and minimal weights machines. They'd have more room for equipment if they cut down on some treadmills and got rid of the breakfast dining area.

Negative experience: Can't say as men aren't allowed inside, equality

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Fernwood Bulleen from January this year, I love this place. I love my experience with this club and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Staff at the reception always welcomes every one with a smile and the staff members are always to happy to help you with any questions you have with the equipments or any of your fitness questions. The personal trainers here are very good and they help you achieve your results also they are very encouraging. I love yoga, boxing, Zumba classes here. There are lots of group fitness classes for everyone. Food coaching sessions are really good they educate you on all the nutrition and they help you to transform to healthy eating habits. I would highly recommend Fernwood Bulleen to any women who would like to join the club. Now the good news is its open 24 hours Seven days a week.
