Positive experience: Great gym love it, however I am making this to ask if you could change the velcro on the cable kick backs as it falls off your leg when you do more than one.

Fantastic experience: Friendly gym, enjoyed the classes. Recently had to discontinue membership due to unforeseen circumstances, and was nervous about the process... they were understanding and made the process easy (didn't force me to come in etc). Would definitely recommend and come back in the future when I rejoin a gym.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym and staff. Has all the kit I need for my workouts and some great classes to choose from (though I have only tried spin!) Staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming :-) (Rosanna has been the best! ) Definitely recommend the gym.
Negative experience: I'd give no stars of I could. These guys have been spamming me via email and sms since December with marketing and sales. I was a member in 2010-2011 so I have no idea why they even still have my details. The dietician told me I myst be lying about my food intake (I wasn't) and the PT told me I just needed to want to be thin and that I was lazy. I have hypermobility and chronic knee pain, I can't run because of this but she said I was lazy. The EP I had there was great and ripped into the PT for her putting me in danger of injury. I followed up my weight gain while eating salads with my GP and we discovered it was health issues and the diet and exercises the staff were trying to force me to do could have killed me. They don't listen and they don't have properly trained staff. Even if I was considering giving them a second chance, I wouldn't be after a month of spam and harrassment.

Fantastic experience: If I have to compare with another places or same company but different area gym, I will 100% recommends to this place. Very good classes, friendly stuff, very very clean, tidy, better than any other places

Positive experience: The best pancakes. I always keep it simple and order a short stack, butter and maple syrup. Pancakes at the rocks never disappoints. Attentive and fast service.

Fantastic experience: I only got to come in a few times, but I always felt comfortable even during unstaffed hours. The team, gave me all the right information re the process to transfer clubs and were always so lovely and helpful!!

Fantastic experience: joined just over two years ago. the staff there made me feel very welcome, the classes are amazing with a variety so you can pick and choose. Love training at the gym and have met some lovely people who have become really good friends there.

Positive experience: Good range of classes and clean facilities.
Fantastic experience: I like the Pilates classes and teachers, but service at the desk is not the best. I made my partner wait for 40 minutes waiting for my membership to be done and it was not completed, one of the ladies was not polite :( I'm hesitant about membership now. Upd. All was sorted out. Great stuff corporation!
Fantastic experience: So in love with this place OMG! Stumbled upon it one day on my walk in the area and thought i'd check it out. Six months down the line I have become a gym junkie! never have an issue getting into classes (unlike some other local gyms) and the staffers are always happy to help (even a pest like me! lol ;D) love you ladies, thank you for everything xx

Fantastic experience: Always friendly faces when you walk in! Equipment is exactly what I need. I love how many different group fitness classes I can do through the week. The new renovations have the club looking FAB!! Definitely recommend!!
Fantastic experience: Always a clean and lovely place to train. A wide range of classes to get you into shape and feeling like a better you! Whenever you walk in the door all you see is happy faces. Love this gym!

Negative experience: The strangest most alienating culture I've ever experienced at a gym. Facilities were average at best and they just couldn't understand why I didn't want to sign up for the free sauna... I'd put your money and time at a gym thats more positive and inclusive.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and only care about your money. Management (Fillipa) is so argumentative and doesn’t understand how stick to agreed contract terms. Have to get fair trading involved in matters that should be simple to resolve. Not to mention classes are almost impossible to attend due to waiting lists. Worst gym with bad customer service. When I enquired about my contract being finished in a week as stated on contract and not being able to attend gym during staffed hours, I was asked by Fillipa to prove my shift work hours and was told even if I was to prove my hours it would be for no reason and I would be charged a cancellation fee. How confusing is that... By far the rudest management with no idea and no ability to build rapport. Save your money go somewhere els.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Miranda is such a great gym. All members are valued and the environment is good for mind, body and soul.
Negative experience: Rude, unhappy environment. Do not sign up for this gym. The smell inside is horrible. They totally don't let fresh air in, it smells like an old rubber and metal. Music plays so loud 24/7, often I can't hear what's played in my headphones. Management is so professional, unsupportive and not customer oriented, all they want is new members and your money. Some equipment is so old it doesn't work. During Covid-19 they were especially misleading, charging my card for nothing, without my permission. The manager (Filipa) is rude, no people skill, doesn't take responsibility for club mistakes, the staff under her control don't know their simple member cancellation policy.

Negative experience: My partner decided after being a loyal customer of Fernwood Miranda for over a year to cancel her month by month membership due to the fact that the machines were always broken, dirty and unsafe .Despite their website stating that you can ring up and easily cancel at any time we found this process to be a lot harder and much more expensive than advertised. Firstly we were told that she could not cancel a membership without attending a meeting at the gym first. we were very surprised by this but still my partner agreed and asked when she could attend an interview which she was told they only do 1 a week and the next couple of weeks were booked out. Long story short months later and hundreds of dollars lost if cancellation fees we have finally rid our selves of this company (keep in mind my partners contract was over and was paying month to month but still had to pay hundreds of dollars to cancel which we do still not understand why) . My partner has now joined a nice gym that has clean working equipment. Its worth checking out all the negative comments on their Facebook page from angry customers who have gone through this exact same thing if you are considering joining this gym.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting how this place treats a customer who wants to cancel a membership. A friend of mine just tried to cancel and was told she would need to come in for a interview first, then they make the interview times almost impossible for most people to attend. After that she gets told she will still have to pay another 2 months even though her contract was over and was paying month to month. She's now paid that and they are still threatening to send debt collectors after her. Looks like this place has done this to lots of people, there's lots of bad reviews for this exact thing happening on their Facebook page Be warned!!
