Fantastic experience: I have been a member since 2016 and love everything about this gym, the staff a super friendly, the trainers are supportive and adjust my exercises to suit my injuries and so affordable! Thanks Ashy for creating this space you’ve got me as a member for life

Negative experience: I started a FREE trial and cancelled before the ‘contract’ was supposed to start - none of the promises made, right down to a phone call to organise time to see the gym, we’re stuck to. Ashy Bines Transformation Centre has continued to charge my credit card for 2 MONTHS since cancelling. No help, no returned calls, no returned emails. I’m going to have to lodge a dispute with the bank and hope to see a refund. Do not sign up here.

Negative experience: Respected the 1 year lock in contract and kept paying my membership despite not using the facilities for over 6 months. Called 3 months in advance to make sure the membership would not be renewed after the 1 year contract was over. Now I see they rolled over my contract and have been direct debiting me 4 months after my contract expiry...

Fantastic experience: I Have been a member at the TC for 2 years now and love it. Great equipment that is maintained and a clean facility with wonderful trainers and classes. Thank you team! Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The staff are amazing and helpful. Great equipment and heaps of classes to choose from. I feel so comfortable in this gym, never feel like I am being watched or judged and I have learned so much from how to correctly do certain exercises to nutrition and food prep. I have had a couple of injuries from work and the trainers have been fantastic helping me to modify my workouts when I was ready to work out again. I highly recommend this gym! As I I said before I love it!

Negative experience: Ashy stop parking in disabled spots and also ripping people off with your business!

Negative experience: This company is run horribly. Don’t waste your time or money. It is all about money grabbing. Girls close and open a new bank account in order to stop them from taking money out once you have tried to leave a membership. Ashy you should be ashamed of yourself!

Negative experience: Recent injury disabling me to train for a year, medical reports etc supplied and still asking for $1042.65 to terminate my contract.

Negative experience: ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! This company is okay at the fitness side of things, although I'm currently unable to afford the membership and there is no way at all you can get out of this contract. I have tried to sell my membership to people who are the waiting list however every time I advertise the girls who work for this company delete the post. Very irritating. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! I've never been so comfortable going to the gym, and the creche is amazing for my little girl.

Negative experience: I paid my $30 fee to secure my spot and before I signed up or even went the the gym, I changed my mine and didn't want to join. They took money from my account for membership even though I didn't want to join.

Negative experience: They manipulate you and take your money! I was on the waiting list when I was called to be offered a position, however to hold this position I would have to deposit $30 immediately. When asked if I could have time to think the salesperson told me that after one hour the offer would pass and I'd have to wait longer. I paid my $30 and was told to come in to complete a membership and sign up at the gym that afternoon. I changed my mind and didn't go in, but they charged me for gym membership the following two weeks before I realized they made these unauthorized transactions. Be very wary of how they operate.

Negative experience: Poor customer service! Horrible at communicating, especially when it comes to payment! Seems as if they are more interested in the money rather than actually transforming you...

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best gym that I have ever joined. The staff and members are so helpful and friendly I have made so many friends here and learnt so many things from the classes and just observing other people. The equipment is well maintained and looked after, they change the foam for the smith machines every few months, and the seats for all the machines too. The fees were amazing when I signed up too, no membership fee and only had to pay for my first week starting up (but this was in February and I am unsure if it is still the same anymore), they also have body scales that accurately tell you how much you weigh, your muscle mass, your body fat and it all gets recorded on your dashboard where you can keep track of your progress throughout your time at the gym which is absolutely brilliant. Besides all of this the best thing about this gym is the people, every one is so kind and helpful (NO JUDGEY VIBES AT ALL) and I have met so many great people who have exchanged different workouts with me. My membership was only for the gym but the staff let me trial about four classes to see if I would like to upgrade. I highly recommend this gym to anyone local to Mermaid beach or anyone looking for a friendly girls only gym.

Negative experience: Can't get in contact with them, impersonal experience and more focused on getting your payments than transforming you

Negative experience: Its so hard to get in touch when you try and call! I've tried ringing the centre 4 times daily with an issue and left my contact details and no one has gotten back to me or will pick up!
