Negative experience: I visited them for cancelling my membership. Today I get to know that there is a cancellation fee . When I joined nobody told me about this. Even, I called costumer service and spoke about this. They just said it’s in terms and conditions they can’t help . But my point is before starting they need to explain some highlights to the person who wants to join. I joined 3 months before and hardly I used their service only10 days. Will never recommended anyone. They are just looking for money

We did offer you a free of charge transfer to which you refused.
On sign up our potential members choose their own membership option that suits them. You opted for a contract membership. All memberships also come with a cool off period

Negative experience: I am thoroughly disappointed with the standards of cleanliness at Zap Gym. The condition of the gym floors is shocking — they are covered in dirt, marks, and black spots that clearly haven’t been cleaned in a long time. This is highly unsanitary, especially in a gym environment where hygiene should be a top priority to ensure members’ safety. The equipment area is no better. Dust and debris were noticeable around the workout stations, and the condition of the mats and other equipment looked neglected. This creates a poor experience for members who pay a premium expecting a clean and well-maintained facility. For a gym that promotes health and wellness, the lack of basic upkeep and attention to hygiene is unacceptable. It’s clear that regular cleaning schedules are either non-existent or not followed. The management urgently needs to address these issues by implementing proper cleaning protocols and monitoring them consistently.

Negative experience: I’ve been with zap from 2-3 years and after the gym got shut down, I had to cancel my membership and they still kept deducting money out of my account even when I cancelled the membership. On top of that, they charged me extra with some hidden charges they never disclosed before. Customer service I spoke to didn’t help alot but kept on saying it’s in the terms and conditions. Your gym shut down, not my problem. Very disappointing, will never recommend anyone. Never trust your bank details with them.

Negative experience: The worst gym ever. Company doesn't care about its clientele they just cancelled my membership without me knowing. Very rude, very arrogant. Would advise to never sign up to this establishment. An absolute disgrace of a franchise.

Negative experience: By far the worst gym I've ever signed up to. I missed a few payments and they cancelled my whole membership. I now owe the debt collectors $500 when initially i only owed $130. I got through to HEAD OFFICE and they were extremely rude and they did not want to resolve the issue at all, she continued to say i have to sign up again and pay more money to return to the gym. On top of that, they referred my account to debt collector agency and its quadruple the price I’m already owing.. Extremely shocking. What a scam. I wish I could give half a star but there was no other option. In conclusion I advise anybody reading this to NEVER SIGN UP TO THIS DISGRACEFUL GYM CHAIN. They have no care for their clientele whatsoever.

Negative experience: I’ve been to Jetts Lyndarum for the past 4 years knowing it was no lock in contract as I have paid the joining fee upfront. Recently they change to ZAP fitness, and did not told ME about the lock in contract, once I wanted to cancel my membership I was told I have to pay $285 Cancellation fee. I was shocked as I signed up and informed there was no lock in contract?? On the contract, it did not state the lock in contract + cancellation fee. Would not recommend zap fitness whatsoever. This is disappointing bc the people in there was a community whom I made friends with. If I could take this up further I would. Shame.

Negative experience: Please do yourself a favour and DO NOT join this gym, not only is it a very poor gym in terms of the facilities/equipment being old, rusty and limited but they are also very scammy and scummy... I have attended this gym one time (even though I've paid for months) and that one time was not a good experience with the above mentioned already and also the worker eating his dank meal in the middle of the gym pretty much stinking up the air. They also will be very quick to forward any remaining amount owing to collections (even against current members) that you may not even be aware of because they don't contact you prior to this.... Shameful behavior and regretting ever giving you guys a dollar. DO NOT JOIN THEM TRUST A LOCAL ON THIS.
Hi Frankie, Sorry to see this review and as you only have a first name I am unable to contact you directly to discuss your review with you. If Lyndarum did not suit you with our passport membership you have access to all of our clubs across Victoria.
Memberships will continue to debit until a cancellation request has been sent to the membership team.
Regardless of how often you use the facilities you have still signed up to a membership.

Fantastic experience: Both my parents, Tagrid and Nazih have been coming to this gym for about 5 years now, and Diana (staff member) has made their experience at the gym so much more enjoyable. They are both disheartened that she will be leaving the gym and wish for her to say.

Negative experience: I went there for a change from my regular Jetts, noticed no one brings a towel at this gym and the operators don't care. The equipments looked worn out and disorganised. Definitely can do better.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this gym for quite a long time. The manager John and the assistant manager Clay go out of their way to make sure that you feel comfortable. I guarantee they know every member by name and always greet you as you arrive and say goodbye when you leave. You feel like a person and not a number
Negative experience: Took 25 mins just before the staff took time out to talk to me. While i waited for her on the desk. Without even acknowledging that i was waiting. Disappointed.
