Snap Fitness 24/7 Gladesville

Negative experience: Have been trying to get in contact with the Gladesville gym but to no avail. They have been deducting membership fees since August even though they are closed and they said that we could go to any branch free of charge till the Gladesville branch opens. My membership got transferred to the Olympic park gym and they are still deducting my fees. Kindly refund the money that has been deducted from my account. Only the November membership has been refunded. However as promised, I would like all the deductions to be reversed. I would like the Gladesville branch to kindly contact me to discuss this ASAP.

Positive experience: Edit #2 - 19 December '24 Well, I've been trying to reach them for weeks as I'm no longer able to access any Snap Fitness gyms. This is fair, given they can't offer the free access for too long.... Right? Now I'm moving house, so I no longer want the membership but they're unreachable on either phone or email. They've communicated months ago that they're still trying to reopen, which must be frustrating for them but they should clearly communicate what's happening, especially if they're rescinding access to all other Snap gyms. Hope to be able to cancel my membership soon, but this seems unlikely given their phone is no longer reachable and they haven't responded to any of my 3 follow up emails spaced 1-2 weeks apart. ‍♀️ Edit - 2 July '24: This gym has been 'temporarily' closed for so long now. It's really unfortunate about the noise complaints that resulted in the forced renos/rearrangement resulting in the temporary closure. They did debit my account once accidentally but once I reached out, they promptly refunded me and apologised for the mistake. We are entitled to attend any nearby Snap Fitness gyms during the temporary closure which is an alright solution for a short time. But I think most people who chose the gym for its proximity are down on luck because travelling to the North Ryde or Meadowbank branches takes extra time, and journeying there can be difficult if you don't have a car or simply lack the motivation (me right now) Hoping for its reopening soon but I'm not gonna hold my breath that this will happen anytime soon... Original review: Brand new, well-equipped gym in the heart of Gladesville with all new equipment. Membership includes classes too with the schedule set to be filled with more programs over the next few months I suspect.

Negative experience: Wondering if this gym never opens again can we buy the equipment???

Negative experience: I have attempted to attend the Gladesville Snap Fitness on several occasions this year and it is never open. Initially I thought it was a faulty membership card. There are no signs indicating to the public that the gym is closed and how long. Or has this branch closed down, never to open.

Negative experience: Was trying to support this place whilst it was trying to re-open, however it has been 10 months. Have made several attempts to contact owner to cancel membership and there has been no response.

Negative experience: Today is March 30th, and they've been closed for three months. However, I received a notification of a bank charge , and they still deducted $45 from my account today！！！ What's going on, can anyone contact me and refund me?？？

Negative experience: The place has been closed for the past month. Popped in a week after it closed and the floor had been completed (hence the closure). Understandingly people to move the equipment back won't be to the new year. Instagram update that all equipment has been put back (3rd January). It's now the 17th with no further updates and I'm still paying for a membership for a gym that is closed. More than a month for replacing a floor that was completed 7 days after closure. Not sure what's going on but commuting to the city to workout is leaving a bad taste of all Snap fitness gyms. Hopefully some clarity with updates and apologies for such a lengthy closure will be amended. Till then I'm going to have to sign up for club lime down the road till whenever the manger decides to open up again.

Negative experience: Dont be fooled by the 5 star reviews, theyre all fake and bought by the club owners. A 5 star review gets you a free week at the gym, photo attached to prove the point. Club also reported to google as this is against googles guidelines. The place is filthy, theres no cleaning products available to clean a machine after use. Just paper towel to wipe down the sweat, but without some kind of cleaning agent the bacteria jist grows and grows and machines become sticky and smelly. Photos attached to prove the point. The toilets STINK. Theres no windows, no ducted air vents, no air freshener, so any odours in the toilets just linger for hours/days. They look great, they just STINK. Photo attached to prove the point. Theres no phone reception if youre more than 5m from a window, and the club doesnt offer wifi. Cant use spotify, cant use trainerize to track my workouts. Ive been asking joanne about this for weeks and she keeps saying she will look into it. I rang telstra for a laugh yesterday to see if i could set up internet at the gym myself, i wasnt going to actually do it, but telstra did say theres already a connection at this property. So evidence that the club owners are just tight and dont want to give wifi to customers even though we cant even get 4g/5g ourselves. Probably one of the worst snap gyms ive been to. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Under Joanne's management, the gym has shown a remarkable positive change. It offers great facilities, easy accessibility, and offers free boxing classes. Abtin is highly recommended for personal trainings.

Fantastic experience: Compassionate and well-mannered staff, Joanne Manager follow up on my problem for a week, if you are looking for someone to motivate you and build your body, it's Abtin, the club is always clean and tidy

Positive experience: Great selection of equipment but it's really cramped. The fixed bench presses are almost touching

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! I haven’t been to a gym in my life Due to my scoliosis and osteoarthritis Thinking that going to the gym was going to make it worse I was so wrong! I feel great No more pain killers , more energy And the friendly staff are amazing!! Joanne the new manager there is so helpful and professional! Classes are fun thanks to Abtin ! He is very dedicated and puts all his effort into each class, so It's definitely worthy. My body & mentality have changed a lot. Also, the gym is always clean and facilities are new. The location is also great. I'd recommend it to people around Gladesville!

Negative experience: This gym is the joke! The manager order snack pack and eat there and you can smell that food all around!! After 6 months when I told them I wanna cancel my membership, then they attitude completely change and was rude. Guys I know there are quite few gym options in this neighbourhood but please careful with this one!

Negative experience: Equipment jammed packed and you can’t move. Weight plates are everywhere and left on equipment in most cases. Have never seen the employees tidying up or enforcing gym discipline

Negative experience: The club manager eats kebabs and snack packs in the gym stinking out the whole gym. The other trainers just stand in the corner staring at you when they could be reorganising the weights which are all over the place. To get a 2.5kg plate you may have to remove 4 20kg plates from above it on the other side of the gym. They randomly made the ‘Studio’ area off limits during non-staffed hours, without any notice other than locking the doors and putting up signs. This area is half of the gym and the reason I purchased a membership in the first place. I’m pretty sure this is breach of contract as members purchased their memberships under the impression they could use the area whenever they like, but this is not the case. I would advise against this place.
