Fantastic experience: Thank you Steve! TAFE Mackay, you & your gym were my inspiration to taking my health & fitness seriously. I always think back to the positive experience and great exercise techniques I took away and had learned with the team of trainers at City Fitness from 2009-2012. After working for you at the gym while Completing my Cert IV in Fitness I now have 5 children and am proud to say I’m still as fit as a fiddle. My family have followed in my footsteps and are health focused, My 20 yr old daughter now a Personal Trainer herself in North Brisbane. My 17yr old son attends gym 4+ days a week and very active with his soccer. Both children attended the child minding at City Fitness so I could train when they were just 6 & 3yrs old so many years ago. I can only imagine the positive influence you have had to so many other families. No other words to say but a BIG Thank you!

Positive experience: Polite attendants and clean equipment with the option to have a trainer assist.

Negative experience: The front desk at this gym engaged in racial discrimination.On September 23, 2023, at 10 am, when I arrived here and spoke with the front desk, she asked me where I was from. I said China, and she rolled her eyes, then put on a fake smile and continued with the introduction. This hurt me deeply, and I will never choose City fitness again

Fantastic experience: City Fitness Gym suits my lifestyle perfectly. Its clean, safe, well maintained old school and modern equipment are second to none with cheerful, friendly and experienced staff to offer any assistance I need. I've made many friends in City Fitness and it is a highlight that I look forward to every week day after work to recharge and socialise with like minded people.

Fantastic experience: The facility is amazing, easy access to all machines. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the fees are affordable

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS WEAK!!! THEY DIDN"T HAVE ENOUGH WEIGHTS FOR ME TO BENCH. THEY ONLY HAD ABOUT 2000KG TOTAL, THAT FOR ME IS ONLY A WARM UP. I THINK I SHOULD JUST STICK TO LIFTING CARS FROM NOW ON.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, great equipment, a gym that makes you feel welcome

Positive experience: I attended as a casual visitor to a Body Pump class. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. The class was well organised and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the workout. Well run gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! I've been a member for almost 10 years and not looking to change. A few locations in town also help a lot - go gymming wherever you feel the urge ))

Negative experience: Staff seemed very disinterested and distracted. I wanted to join however they kept running away to do other things, was hard to get information from them and ask questions. I ended up walking out and joining the gym up the road.
