Anytime Fitness Buderim

Negative experience: I'm really disappointed with my recent experience. The gym is extremely hot, and to make things worse, you have to manually press a button just to turn on a fan during your workout. The equipment is very outdated. For example, the extension chair—the only machine available for quadriceps—is not adjustable for someone my height (1.63m). When I asked for a solution, I was told to lift a weight between my feet as an alternative. That’s not acceptable in a professional gym environment. I’ve been a loyal Anytime Fitness member for years because I value good service and facilities, but this was frustrating. I pay for a service and expect to be able to do a basic training session comfortably and safely. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case lately. I’m a nice and understanding person, but this situation truly needs attention and improvement.

Negative experience: Awful administration! They enrolled me in the blink of an eye, but it has taken two months to terminate the enrollment, and I have not been successful yet. I visited the office four times in person and sent two emails. If they are extending the termination process to earn a few more dollars, the behaviour is unbearable.

Negative experience: This gym is continually getting worse and worse, the owner must have given up on the place along time ago. Both showers are out of order and only one working treadmill half the time! The rest of the place is old and equipment rusty - the place is in desperate need of a renovation ASAP. Good luck keeping up with all the nearby competition.

Équipements général ni plus ni moins, mais l’entretien laisse à désirer. Des sanitaires en mauvais états. Deux étoiles parce que l’on peut quand même faire des séances mais ne recommande pas

Negative experience: Serious this gym is the stinkiest gym! I rarely go here anymore and opt for Kawana or Maroochydore, even though it’s further. And the equipment here is always broken. Literally been well over 1.5 months and you still got broken treadmills. Get them fixed already! 1 star as it’s convenient and more quite then the other gyms.

Negative experience: The best way to explain the state of AF Buderim is that the owner has effectively given up on the place and its members. The layout is bizarre, the equipment is limited and in desperate need of a refurbish. Why anyone would willingly join this particular gym given the alternatives is beyond me. 0 stars would be a more accurate rating.

Negative experience: This gym was like walking into a museum. Fossils everywhere. I’ve beeen to a fair few Anytime’s and this is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. No updated equipment and the layout is whack

Negative experience: This gym desperately needs an upgrade now. Old outdated rusted equipment, stained and ripped carpet makes the place feel dirty. Thankfully staff are nice.

Fantastic experience: Few people giving bad reviews for old equipment extra must of mistaken the gym for getting their nails done. It's not a day spa, it's a gym lift sweat repeat

Negative experience: Holy batman this place is a piece of rust.. legit, most machines are rusted/broken/damaged/old as hell… it must be and OG owner here just saving every penny for a rainy day.. I managed to pinch my fingers trying to adjust benches that have been super glued by rust.. Also scored myself a cute bruise when going from piece of rust equipment to another - the place is tighter then a tin of sardines.. Don’t worry about trying to have a shower - it’s out of use.. Honestly, I truly hope the locals that use this bad boy are paying $5-7 a week. It’s a joke to be charging anything over that. The best thing about the place was the car park - empty cause clearly these shops are not cutting it either. Good luck gym goers!!

Negative experience: Outdated in desperate need of a refurb.

Positive experience: Very outdated facility and equipment, definitely overdue some form of refurb. Luckily this isn't my main gym and only went here temporarily as it was the closest Anytime Fitness in the area. It did the job within a pretty quiet environment and it is kept considerably cool inside despite the raging heat. My main issue was that the smith machine was clearly built for someone who is 4'9" and as a 6'4" individual you can see the problem. The other issue was the various machines, they're borderline vintage and I felt like I was a 90s kid trying to dial-up. Sell them and buy some new stuff.

Negative experience: Old with outdated limited equipment, needs a desperate make over. Seriously, this area should have an Anytime like Kawana. Gear crammed in on two levels, cheap benches in free weights area, couple of people in there and that’s it.

Fantastic experience: Buderim AF the best, staff is great and personal trainers are awesome and gym itself is fabulous and overall friendly and you feel you get great workout, encouragement and fulfilment. Go Buderim AF! :)

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy training here - there is plenty of equipment to use and I have never had to wait to use.. I also absolutely love the group training classes they run. Staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful.. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Great gym but the access system is faulty get there to do gym at 6 and you cant get in very annoying and you have to call them to get it fixed and no apologies. Today is the third time it’s happened with my chip. So no gym this weekend until it’s fixed and yes my gym fees are paid.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for the best part of a year now. Great gym, nice people and great management. Emily and Rhiannon are doing an amazing job running this gym. Always helpful, happy and very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Negative experience: I joined in early 2018 with the agreement that upon leaving Australia to return to Brazil I would just need to show my travel ticket. Well when the time came that wasn't enough, they asked for a water bill in my name back in Brazil. I supplied that and they stopped replying to my emails. I have tried since August 2018 to have the membership cancelled. Still they are charging me. I am still trying to cancel...watch out for false promises and very poor customer service!

Negative experience: Small gym, no v bar and old equipment. Needs a new layout and better equipment. Also staff member working was very rude.

Fantastic experience: When i was a member it was a great gym. Close to home and staff were very helpful. Its great that its opened 24/7 as i work all different hours. The equipment is easy to use.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. I can hands down say it is my fav gym on the coast. The staff are so lovely and supportive, which is what i need. And all the members are so nice and will help eachother out highly recommend this location

Positive experience: Very small gym which gets quite crowded during peak times.

Negative experience: The customer service at this gym is nothing short of a disgrace. Amanda, who is there most days has no customer service skills, Very rude and her manner over the phone is deplorable for a person who is representing a worldwide fitness brand.
