Fantastic experience: Sam has a gift of combining the use of knowledge, passion and humour to create a gym with an awesome atmosphere. Not only is it a pleasure to start the day there, it has helped improve of myriad of my back, neck and shoulder issues.

Fantastic experience: This is where you wanna be! Sam's gym is not only clean and welcoming but it has a safe environment kinda feel to it. I have trained for years in many different kinds of gyms and never really felt safe and comfortable in my space. Dfs absolutely has that vibe. Its fun and easy to get around but has a good energy about it that makes you wanna go back! For me personally its not the gym and equipment that makes it the place to be its Sam!!! He has a warm and open personality, always makes himself available when you need him and takes pride in the space he has created for everyone. Im his worst client, i cancel pts all the time have weeks or months off but regardless of all that Sam is always supportive and happy to help. This is definitely my happy place and i would imagine im not the only one that feels this way. Dfs is a total vibe!!! X

Fantastic experience: After training at home for the past three years, I decided to access a wider variety of tools by returning to the gym environment - having been lifting weights for over thirty five years, I am quite particular about what I'm looking for in a fitness facility. I'm delighted to say that Sam has done an amazing job at assembling and organising a place where you are inspired to get active, get stronger, and stay motivated. A few personal favourites: 1) the combined amount of squat rack/ bench press stations and adjustable benches is greater than the number of pieces of cardio equipment; 2) the cardio equipment available (especially the ski ergs) are fantastic for circuit training; 3) there are tons of dumbbells, bands and kettlebells; 4) lots of "the little things" that create way more training options (landmine attachments, barbell variations, lots of cable attachments, sleds, slamballs, suspension trainers, 1.25 kilo plates, etc) 5) great variety of machines -from Smith to belt squat platform - and multiple pulley stations 6) As a result of this well thought out and carefully-curated arsenal of fitness gear, there is always something available for you to train what you're looking to train 7) Whether it's 5.30am on a weekday morning, or the middle of a Saturday afternoon, I never walked in and thought, "this is going to be pain to get through" - it never feels crowded, and you won't find half of the gym facilities "reserved" for peak hour group training sessions 8) Members are there to put in the work - there's a laid back and welcoming atmosphere and obviously a lot of people know each other from the community, but you won't see a lot of idle chatter between folks who are taking up valuable real estate 9) All of these attributes connect back to Sam and his commitment and care - I've never seen a gym manager, let alone owner, be as hands-on and passionate about their operation. He sets the tone for the positive atmosphere and training consistency amongst his personal training clients and members. So yes, you could say I provide this establishment with a hearty "recommend".

Fantastic experience: My sister and I began our gym journey with no experience a couple years ago, however through training with Sam we were both able to grow and become efficient in the gym. He is patient, encouraging and always gives you a good laugh. DFS is my favourite gym and makes training easy. The gym environment is absolutely amazing and positive, and it is full of people who push you to become the best version of yourself. Fantastic experience: Want to know how good this place is?... the people that train here rack their weights when they are done. If your new to gym training and not sure what that means, this is the best gym you'll find. The owner is a knowledgeable easy going guy that makes training and learning a pleasure and the people that train here are welcoming and friendly. Want an amazing well equipped place to train come here. Looking to start a new fitness regime but feel a bit daunted by gyms and gym culture come here. Couple all that with no lock in contracts and No cancellation fees you really can't loose by checking this place out.
