Fantastic experience: GMA has amazing coaches who really focus on helping you build your stamina, strength, technique, and endurance. They’re passionate about what they do and are super supportive of my taekwondo journey. Everyone including Ali, the admin team and the coaches are kind, understanding, and always willing to help even during difficult times. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to improve and push your skills further than you ever thought possible.

Fantastic experience: My children have been attending for 2yrs and I can't speak more highly of this amazing martial arts family. Their coaches are exceptional and have created an environment for my children to thrive through their Taekwondo journey. They have created friendships while learning amazing skills for life. Fantastic experience: GMA has taught my children valuable knowledge, discipline, confidence, strength as well as keeping them fit and active. GMA is known to produce National Level Champions and has various proficient and friendly instructors that are dedicated at teaching our kids lifetime skills. The great addition of Brazilian Ju-jitsu (bjj) and Muay Thai taught by qualified instructors with decades of experience has been an extremely great asset. This is a relaxed ambience and a clean family environment that cater for all ages and fitness levels. We love this place!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend GMA to everyone! Staff welcome you as soon as you walk in, answer any questions you may have and are extremely friendly and attentive. The instructors are professional and encouraging. The centre is kept clean and has a designated section for parents/caregivers to sit comfortably while watching the children train. They have a cafe onsite, which makes coffee and sells various drinks and snacks. Overall, a great place for children to train!

The instructors there are like your friends but still discipline you to get the best results in your technique. They show love and respect in this academy. Fantastic experience: GMA provides an awesome program for kids that keeps them active, happy, and motivated. The coaches are so nice and create an awesome environment for kids to increase their self-esteem. The thing that I liked as well! How did they deal with COVID pandamic and the lockdown by running online classes and encouraging kids to participate and communicate with other kids by doing competitions and activities. Fantastic experience: Seven years ago I took a shy introverted little boy to Global Martial Arts to do buddy day with his mate from school, here I am 7 years later taking a confident out going young man to training with his many many friends which he has made in those 7 years. I can honestly say GMA played a big part in making my son not only the athlete he is today but also the person he is today. Master Ali Khalil and his brilliant team of instructors are amongst the best in the country not only because they have developed champion athletes but champion people. I have spent a life time being involved in sport and there is not a better organisation then GMA at putting the development and well being of each individual member above all else. Fantastic experience: I originally relocated from interstate to NSW so that I could train at GMA. It really is the best Martial Arts school available in the country, and has been my home ever since I arrived (over 7 years ago now). The staff and instructors are all really friendly and professional. Instructors all have qualified experience, including university-graduate instructors from Korea. Every new student enrolment is carefully assessed and guided through a thorough and helpful orientation process to help set them up as part of the GMA family. The kids classes are really popular, and you can really see a massive personal and physical improvement from all its students. GMA also provides great initiatives, incentives, and pathway programs to challenge students as they continue progress, encouraging ongoing development. The teens and adults program is a great environment, both socially and physically, with great energy and role models leading the way in every training session. The kickboxing program is also really popular, and is an amazing program designed for all skill levels, from beginners to those more experienced. Would highly recommend GMA for any age or skill level. This school is leading the way for Martial Arts in Australia, and will cater and serve your needs and reasons for taking up martial arts, whatever they may be.

Up to date training equipment and techniques. There is something there for all. Tae Kwon Do, Self Defence, Fitness and Tumbling Classes. Whether it is a past time hobby or you are the next Olympian. GMA is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Global Martial Arts for a number of years and I can't help but to feel as if the members of the club are my extended family. The training environment is welcoming, friendly and supportive, and encourages constant interaction between the youngest members to the Olympic Training Programs athletes. There is a strong sense of mentoring that is shared amongst the club, which is very valuable and makes training a safe and desirable part of our day! There are also a number of different programs and classes available to people of all ages, that run at convenient times to suit your day to day life. I love being a part of Global Martial Arts, training under Olympic coach Ali Khalil and Australian Olympic representatives Safwan Khalil and Hayder Shkara. Our training facilities are of high quality, and our program is designed to ensure nothing but constant improvement! I would recommend GMA to anybody interested in pursuing Taekwondo, self defense or just looking for a great training environment to keep fit!

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained here for the last 3 years and what captured me is encouragement and guidance I received from the instructors and fellow athletes. The culture here is welcoming, warm and supportive and this attitude flows through from the pre-teens class through to the athletes in the Olympic training program. When it comes to quality, some consider GMA the best Taekwondo club in Australia based on their track record of continuously producing elite level athletes that go one to represent Australia year on year. Moreover, this is the training ground of 2 Olympians and many of Australia’s national team representatives, who are always happy to share advice and training tips to anyone seeking help. The head coach, Ali Khalil lead the 2012 and 2016 Australian TKD Olympics team and is well connected globally so it’s not unusual to occasionally see other World-ranked athletes and teams visiting and training here in the OTP class – but don’t level that intimidate you because the people I’ve met here are some of the nicest ever! The club caters to all levels and ages, from those looking to learn new skills, get fit, make new friends and generally have fun, to athletes looking to take their performance to the next level. The Fitness Central gym, next door is also used for the strength and conditioning program and great for parents wanting to exercise while their kids are in class. If you’re seriously looking for a club for yourself or for your child, the best way is to see for yourself. I think they’re offering free trials at the moment? To summarise, a double thumbs up from me!

The coaches and instructors create a team environment that instills confidence and self esteem for anyone interested in Taekwondo. At GMA you learn from the best.
