We cater to all fitness groups and ages with the Whitsundays largest selection of gym equipment and over 60 classes per week, theres something for everyone!
At Gravity Fitness, we cater for all fitness levels from beginners through to the top level competitor, and age groups from 14yrs up to our more mature members. We offer a mix of new Hammer Strength, and also “Old School” heavy duty weight equipment and a full range of cardio machines.
All your supplement needs are also covered with our supplement store being located within the gym. Even our vending machine stocks tubs of pre-workout for those after hour sessions.
We also stock MUSCLE NATION gym wear. The only place in town where you can buy gym specific clothing that is super comfy for your workout or even casual wear.
An Infrared Sauna is also available during staffed hours. Bookings are required through reception as we need to disinfect/clean it after every use. Non members are also welcome to book in for a session. Cost for the sauna is: Members $10, and non-members $30 for max 30min.
Evolt 360 Body Scanner. We use the latest technology with our body scanner so you can get all your body composition measurements. Find out your BF%, muscle mass, and overall health rating with this medically approved machine.
Gym Etiquette is of high importance to us to maintain a comfortable, and respectful place for everyone to train. Towels are mandatory to be used on all benches, re-racking your weights, and appropriate clothing to be worn at all times. For our competitors wishing to practice their posing, or to get that flexing selfie, we have a private room with mirrors for you to strip down.
While keeping the gym clean and hygienic, (one of our OCD issues), you can use our interactive jukebox system therefore providing the perfect atmosphere while you’re working out. We have the music pumping at certain times of the day but also keeping the more softer sounds to suit the clientele during other times of the day.
Our infrared sauna is perfect for your post workout recovery sessions. Each booking is for a private use session, so only you or a chosen friend will be in the same room while enjoying your detox/recovery time. Within a nice little ambience to relax, you have the option to open the blinds and enjoy the view of the sky and clouds to pass the time. Available only during staffed hours, please book in at reception to secure your time.

Gym etiquette is enforced in our gym for the comfort of all our members. Towels must be used on all equipment at all times, weights returned to their stack after use and you must be fully clothed while in the gym at all times. We provide the use of a private room which has mirrors for our competitors who need to practice their posing.
We stock most of the popular products from the leading brands for you to enjoy. Fat burners, pre-workouts, protein, mass gainers, health products and vitamins etc, it’s all here.
We also have Gravity merchandise for sale as well. T-shirts, muscle tops, singlets, towels and shakers. Everything you need to get you through those gruelling workouts.

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym and staff super friendly!
Fantastic experience: went to multiple different gyms around the Whitsundays none of them caught my eye like gravity did, I’m gonna start with the staff, keiren and tj are legends so helpful and caring made me feel so welcomed, the gym itself has everything you would want plus more, also brought some supplements that have been amazing so far, big props to you guys!

Fantastic experience: A great gym with good quality equipment. Always clean, the staff are super friendly and aways helpful and professional. Love the atmosphere and the space to train. With the different zones and areas for specific training, like a cardio section, free weights/machine weights and a massive functional area, I wouldn’t train anywhere else. Thanks for providing the whitsundays a great locally owned gym, with the professional feel of a larger, established gym.

Positive experience: A bit overpriced for a casual visit for a pretty basic and small gym (with machines and benches very close together, $20. Staff welcoming and friendly, but that’s where it ends sadly. Prob time to expand or move to another premise considering the tight space (I had someone using the pec Dec machine so close to me using cable pulley I had to move (under a foot)

Negative experience: The manager and one of the team member are the most unfriendly persons ever. They are talking to you in a terrible way. Really bad organization. Not so many machines. Bad experience.
Fantastic experience: I went to one other gym, this being the best one!! If you are after a gym this one will be you’re best choice. I was visiting in Airlie. Staff we’re nice, approachable. clean and tidy gym. The members seemed friendly. Easy accessible equipment to use. Heaps of supplements available to purchase. Gym clothes and healthy meals to purchase as well. Not much parking spaces available. Toilets outside.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are pretty frequent gym goers and so whilst we are on our honeymoon we couldn’t find a decent gym near Airlie Beach. We found Gravity Fitness and had the pleasure of encountering Adam and Chelsea who are some of the loveliest and hospitable gym staff we have come across! I would definitely recommend as the gym caters to general fitness/lifting/small amounts of powerlifting/group sessions and a big welcoming vibe! 5 ⭐️ review from the wife and I and if we are ever back in Airlie we will be back for more training!!

Not the biggest gym in the world but has more than I need in free weights, power lifting, cardio and machines. Something you can't easily produce is the positive energy in a gym and this place has it in spades. Been to many and wish I could take it with me when I leave the area. Cheers guys!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service, breaks consumer rights laws and pressure sales. Toilets are outside, no showers, no water fountain. The place is a disgrace they need their staff replacing and policies put in the bin
